Debbie Flint

Thought I'd send you an update since I've not emailed for a while. And a pic of silly choccie lab Gracie on my kitchen floor!

Have just finished two stints helping the Medical Detection Dogs team (my charity) at the Kent County Show. It was so tiring tho, I don't know how Claire and her diabetes-alert-dog Pal and co do it. I was so tired tonight on the way home, after a six a.m. alarm call, that when i got back into the car with my hot beverage, instead of plugging the phone in to charge, I tried plugging the i-phone lead into the bottom of my coffee! Oh how we laughed! Until I chomped through my bottom lip, 'cos I'm an idiot. Plus having spent some time out in the hot midday sun, yes even with top grade Ultrasun, i overexposed my hands. I have photosensitive skin so can't do what normal skins can, and I have to seek refuge rather than stay out in it. But since I was holding a camera mid-recording, I couldn't really move, so now my hands are puffing up like a good old michelin man's. Wonder if it will show on air tonight!

News below about the Prai comp for a £50 prize on my QVC blog, and how to get my audiobook of my steamy novel for just £2.99 (for audible app).

Kent County Show

Well the two days I spent there at the MDD stand was fab!

The full lowdown of what happened at the show can be found on the Charity page of my website here - click here to see the videos. If you're going today (Sunday 10th) then Claire and Pal will be there too - do go buy a little stuffed doggy or tea towel, pen, car air freshener - it all helps!

Plus I had another TiFFT (try it for the first time club!) with a live interview on BBC Radio Kent - here's a quick chat with Erika North after I'd done it!

AND I touched a baby owl - meet it here. Lovely event.

Bodyblade at Rochester Castle! And I dashed away lunchtime Saturday to go have a very special meet up. To create another wonderful workout video, recorded with the help of Bruce who was live from LA having got up at 3am to join us on Skype!

Here's the final video - the Rochester Castle Supersix, using just 30 second on each exercise and stretches in between!

and here's the behind the scenes at Rochester Castle  live facebook post I did throughout! Visit the Bodyblade Ohana fbk group to keep in touch with where the next one will be!

The Bodyblade gang - Bruce's Angels! Rochester Castle, July 2016. More pics from the day here. Plus a little look around the street near the castle - its very picturesque - click here to see what I found.

Cuddles with the Grandpogs at Lauren's!

Well the Kent County Show had a very dog-tastic theme, and if you are a regular you'll know I have three 'flabradors' and I do love the little poggies. Spaniels are definitely what I will get next time - you can wash them in the sink. Lol. But Lauren's two are beautiful. . Thing is, they are so different. Little Baloo has always been the cuddly one - she's the eldest.

watch the difference - here's Baloo's cuddle and by contrast, here's Luna's attempt at a cuddle!

Bless them!

Charlie Bear's blog  - if you missed coming to my website last week, or reading my QVC blog, here's the post from last week, with all the pics and videos of the fabulous opening, and a heart-breaking video of Charlie presenting a superb present to the little Make a Wish Foundation VIP guest, little Elspeth from Scotland who cut the ribbon. Her reaction is amazing. go here.

Book of the Week - Rosemary Dun, another writing colleague - her debut novel is out soon - currently on pre-order. Romance with a twist. More here on my RiWiSi

Plus - my Take a Chance on Me is on special offer! Currently only £1.68 - and the audio book is only £2.99 - get it on Amazon here for audible app, whilst it's available for under a fiver for both! My debut novel, a steamy romance with an international jet setter theme! Glad it wasn't me in the end who narrated it, given the steamy scenes! lol. If you read it, do kindly add a review to Amazon/Goodreads! Thank you!

Delighted to read this latest review - thank you Denise W., on Amazon! -

'I downloaded this as a holiday read, knowing that it's not something I would normally pick up. I have read Debbie Flint's TTFLS and enjoyed her writing style so thought I'd give it a go. I'm so glad I did. I finished it in two hits, loved Mac and recognised a few people in Sadie! Uncomplicated yet enthralling, simple, but so well written you won't want to put it down. A thoroughly enjoyable read!'

get yours here!

QVC BLOG This week's blog is well worth popping over to, to have a read and enter my PRAI COMPETITION - just by leaving a comment! Go here and see it on the main qvc website. You'll also find a conga blooper during a fashion show, my review of Ab Fab movie and sneaky peeks of bargains from the week ahead! go here.

Finally - do join me on QVC tonight, Sunday, for the launch of the new Prai Today's Special Value if you need skincare for ageing skin - it's superb.

Have a great week!

best wishes
