You know one of the most irritating things about me, for me, is that if someone tells me I can’t do something I want to. Even if I didn’t before. Therefore it’s vital for me to stick to my Till the Fat lady Slims/ Freedom Eating principles even when I’m embarking upon a new eating trial.

Take Jason Vale’s Juicemaster ‘5lb in 5 days’. I wanted to see what it was like and if I could actually do a plan using the juices I’d previously been really wanting after I got given the new TSV Retro Slow Juicer to play with. Yes, as soon as I knew I couldn’t have anything except the juices and smoothies, what did I do? Rebel. In my head. So I just slid comfortably back into Freedom Eating ways of thinking – ‘what does my body really feel like now? If I want it, I can have it.’ That did the trick. I swapped a couple of the juices for proper greens and tofu or soup, and nibbled a bit of salmon from the pies hour at work. Satisfied = sorted, in my head.

The mind is a funny thing, right? Now I know my ‘inner chimp’ can be dealt with (see previous blog about ‘The Chimp Paradox’ – a brilliant book by a British professor) that way – with food at least – it’s such a relief. And such a Freedom. Read more about Freedom Eating in my eBook/Paperback on amazon here.

And here are a few more posts from our Facebook group about how well others have been doing using TTFLS and Bodyblade and the like. I’m so glad we have such a good supportive community online.

 latest review on Amazon -

"Great book for fresh insight into my relationship with food. Treating it as the enemy didn't help or looking it as a brief pleasure to be paid for later wasn't any better. Makes life much easier now eating only when I'm hungry and enjoying what I eat and slowing down too. Working life I have had to eat by the clock (shifts) and then hurry and not really have time to enjoy so I am rethinking it and starting again. Read it for yourself and see"

Also on TTFLS facebook group, Natalie Hollern was cock-a-hoop - she said

"Lost 3 pounds this week.. feeling a bit happier and glad I am sticking with the smoothie and also following TTFLS book" then she posted this comment -

-          Qpage webchat was fab! Marie Francoise from Kipling extolled the virtues of all the upcoming bargains and included lots of pics and insider news! See the link below to read the whole thing over on the Q Page.

-          Back to You – Laura Geller herself was here! Full Q&A below, where you will also find –

-          Bruce from bodyblade – on the Bodyblade QVC facebook group 8-9pm as usual, see below.

See below also for all the links to join all the groups! Do come join in – you won’t be sorry! It’s a fab supportive community out there and lots of people making proper friends online. Like the old days of penpals!

Other news –

-          Navy Seals Tips – now I once went out with an ex-Navy Seal. The loveliest screwball I ever did meet. So this caught my eye – what do you think? A Navy Seal’s morning routine to stay focussed all day. Comment below if you like! I’ve made them a tip of the day on my Till the Fat Lady Slims facebook PAGE, where I post tons of tips and inspirations for sticking with the Freedom eating programme. But for the original article Go here.

-          Lucid Dreaming course  - yes really, Hay House (the late great Dr Wayne Dyer’s publishing house) are offering a fascinating online video course for £19.99 on their website – if I had eight days in a week I’d go! Have to put it on my list – all that does fascinate me for sure. More here.

Sharon Harvay Congratulations on your Beauty Excellence Award for BnB Laura! You must have been thrilled! Xx

Debbie Flint Well deserved x

Dawn Robinson Hello Laura x I have to tell you i love love love your Baked Body Frosting !! I need to order another i recently finished mine....It looks so natural & so easy to apply. My girls love your produts too xoxoxo

Alana Hughes Hi Laura, love your make up especially your i-care eyeliners and baked eye shadows. Any new product launches coming up in the near future? x

Suzanne Trowell Can you bring some more eyeshadow colours not just browns and pink please. Loved the lilac and plum duo you did. Love your products Laura xx

Sylvia Jarvis Evening Laura!

Balance n Brighten is my desert island product. I tend to mix medium and tan for my best colour match. I was wondering if you were thinking of introducing a warm medium, as you have with the liquid foundation.

Andie Stephany Hi Laura from all at Get Geller Gorgeous xxxx

Denise Sanders Is there anything 'special' coming up for us before Christmas?

Denise Sanders What new items are going to be available for us GG's on QVC?

Julie Pratt Welcome Laura, any sneaky hints on the Xmas TSV? X

Laura Geller Thank you so much for welcoming me, Sharon! I can't thank you all enough for making Balance-n-Brighten the Beauty Excellence award winner for Best Foundation!

Andie Stephany Hi honey x

Debbie Flint welcome laura!!!

Eunice Burndred Laura you are beautiful xx

Sue Stewart Hi Laura and welcome to this fantastic group of ladies. I love your makeup especially your BnB. Will you ever put a sun protection in it?

Jeanette Bennett Yes I agree with Sue, a sun protector is a brilliant Idea.......

Suzanne Trowell I have a bnb with sunscreen in.

Sue Stewart I've not seen it Suzanne Trowell?

Suzanne Trowell It was one if the tsv about 18 months ago x

Sue Stewart Must have had it then but didn't realise. Laura is it in every BnB?

Andie Stephany There used to be a Balance n Brighten with SPF 20 but it's no longer available here.

Kathryn Stewart Woo HOO! Yes we need sunscreen also any chance if the wonderful honeycomb embossed highlighter that was in the Xmas TSV last year? X

Roisin McDonagh There is balance n brighten with SPF 15, but as far as I know it's not available in the UK anymore. I've never got it, unless I wasn't aware of it! From what I've heard the formulation is a little different. There is the SPF spackle which came in a tsv last summer, and some complexion products have SPF in them. Maybe if demand increases again she will bring the SPF BnB back xx

Debbie Flint Hi laura! Do tell everyone about your new place in New York, and what u get up to nowadays! (Goes live 8-9pm) x

Debbie Flint And an extra webchat with andrew gatineau on here Wed 23rd too just before new tsv on 26th! X

Laura Geller For Balance-n-Brighten SPF, there are parameters around making legal claims about SPF in powders here in the States. We are working hard to make more products with SPF for all your enjoyment! We recommend using an SPF with our Balance-n-Brighten always!

Sue Stewart Thank you Laura xx

Laura Geller Hi Suzanne Trowell! My new The Delectables Delicious Shades of Cool has amazing shades of pinks & plums that you will love! The palette. For your consideration, here is the item number 209631.

Andie Stephany Spackle with SPF under bnb ??

Laura Geller Hi Julie Pratt! I'm sure that everyone is so excited about the TSV coming in November! I cannot wait to get on air and present it smile emoticon Me and my team have been working so hard on something BRAND NEW surrounding Balance-n-Brighten but that is all I can say! November 21st is going to be a fun day for everyone!

Sharon Harvay yes!!!!!!!!!! cannot wait x

Sue Stewart Can you add an SPF to Spackle without problem like Andie mentioned. That would solve problems all round.

Debbie Flint what's the date?

Andie Stephany Sue there already is one!! Check my Spackle guide on the group

Andie Stephany 21 November

Sylvia Jarvis I'm sure that I read that spf in make up looks really white in photos (especially when the flash is used), so probably best to do the spf first and make up on top.

Sue Stewart I have Andie but I have so much Spackle of all sorts to use. If it was in all Spackle that would be great.

Laura Geller Debbie Flint The next TSV will be on November 21st!

Andie Stephany

Gail McGovern Are there any plans to sell a make up brush set.

Sue Stewart Yes I love your brushes Laura x

Suzanne Trowell Wonderful Laura can't wait. I have cool blue eyes and the lilac duo really made them pop. Thanks for the heads up xx

Susan Jones Hi Laura. Will we be having the split highlighter in French Vanilla & Golden Rose.?Xx

Christine Kelly Good Evening, just 1 request from me... Please keep supplying the UK with supersize bronze n brighten

Laura Geller Gail McGovern We are definitely working toward giving you all a fabulous brush set! It is in the works

Sharon Harvay Fantastic brushes x

Gail McGovern Thanks for the reply Laura - fab news

Andie Stephany Laura can we please have the eye crayons on Q???

Andie Stephany In sets

Alana Hughes Any new baked blush colours coming soon Laura? Thanks x

Roisin McDonagh Hi Laura. Will we be getting any new shades in the lasting love lip crayons? Aside from the auto delivery of the last tsv xx

Laura Geller During my November TSV, we have a few new launches coming up! Imagine something gorgeous the artisans have been working hard on smile emoticon A brand new formulated lipstick and a gorgeous palette with bronzer, highlighter, and blush -- it's stunning and you will all love it! I'm excited beyond belief that these products are coming your way!

Laura Geller Hi Sylvia Jarvis! Glad to know you're smart enough to mix your balance colors. Sometimes to get your perfect shade, you need to mix two different colors. At the moment, we're not planning on coming out with new Balance-n-Brighten shades but thank you for the feedback smile emoticon

Sue Stewart So am I Laura. Can't wait

Rebecca Warren Hi Laura Geller! Love your make up especially your blushers and highlighters hoping you can answer my questions, I am looking for a bright purple eyeliner do you have any coming to q? Also do you have any plans to get the solid colour bronzer (on q with slanted brush) in a set? Your B n B has made my work make up foolproof, thanks a million! Rebecca Warren

Sharon Harvay Yayayayayayayayayay Laura!!! You are spoiling us with surprises wink emoticon

Laura Geller Kathryn Stewart Hi Kathryn! My Baked Gelato Lace Illuminator in Ballerina is the same as the Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator in Ballerina -- it's just a different design, but the same lovely product!

Laura Geller Rebecca Warren At the moment, we have a few purple eyeliners available, but nothing too bright! The deep purples are very intoxicating and you'll love them smile emoticon

Isabel O'Hara Laura Geller is there a simple way to make your thinning top lip look more in in proportion to the bottom one without hard lip liners?

Laura Geller Rebecca Warren Which bronzer are you referring too? I just want to make sure I'm giving you the right answers smile emoticon I do have the Baked Impressions Bronzer in a set on Q right now; here is the item number: 203148

Sharon Harvay Laura, I am OBSESSED with your Tahitian Glow body Frosting! I have it in all sizes, use it all year round and get through tons of it! It makes a stunning eyeshadow and mixed with a clear balm, a beautiful lip colour! Do not ever stop making it! Hahaha

Laura Geller I moved this summer into a brand new flat and all I ever wanted was to have views of the beautiful New York City skyline and I searched for years until I found the perfect home for myself and Daniel! I even have a balcony smile emoticon

Debbie Flint a balcony? that high up? eeeek! looks amazing tho!

Isabel O'Hara New York an amazing city. I loved it when I visited. Your view is incredible!

Denise Sanders Laura - I like to use the make up pad with my b & b - but it is falling apart! Do you sell them separately?

Kam Mehta How stunning is that view?! You lucky girl and wishing you both lots of happiness in your new home. Xx

Laura Geller I'm pretty high up, I'm on the 41st floor! That's how you get to see the cityscape so well smile emoticon Let's just hope they don't have fire drill, girls -- and thank goodness I don't have a fear of heights!

Rebecca Warren Yes that's the one Laura Geller was hoping you would have a cheeky set available I got a Bronze n Brighten set last year from q and I discovered your gorgeous ocean eyeliner!

Sharon Harvay Stunning!!!!! Wow x

Suzanne Trowell I'd be on the floor. Can't even go above 4 floors. Beautiful skyline though. Hopefully one day I'll get to visit your beautiful city xx

Debbie Flint By the way I am absolutely adoring your Italian soufflé body creams at the moment hope there are more again in the future smile emoticon X

Sharon Harvay ooooooh Debs that smells beautiful xx

Laura Geller Isabel O'Hara My tip for fuller lips is simple: it's always good to use a little bit of light concealer or foundation around your lip line, and then stencil a light color lip liner around your lips. Another great little tip is to put a bit of light colored lip gloss to the center of your lip!

Isabel O'Hara Thanks Laura. I will try out these tips x

Laura Geller Debbie Flint You're holding my personal fave! You can't imagine the beautiful artistry that goes into making those souffles! I'm so glad you love them & I hope everyone gets to try them too smile emoticon Here's the item number in-case anyone wants to try! 207628

Laura Geller Sharon Harvay Just when I thought I knew all the uses for Tahitian Glow, you come up with some great tips for me & the gals! I love it & I don't ever plan to stop making it! heart emoticon

Jillian Widlake Just wanted to say I love balance an brighten and the slanted kabuki brush to apply and never used highlighter before or even knew about them but your honey lavender highlighter is amazing would love it in a supersize smile emoticon thank you again xx

Sharon Harvay Laura..... the amount i have bought over the years..... wink emoticon xx

Laura Geller I hope you've all been enjoying our beautiful Sarah! I know she has some shows coming up tomorrow, September 22nd at 11 PM & then Friday September 25th at 9 PM smile emoticon

Laura Geller Jillian Widlake Another great suggestion! Please know that while I don't have an answer for all your amazing product development ideas, I always take them back to my lovely Product Development team to see if they are possible heart emoticon

Isabel O'Hara Sarah is lovely and very talented. She does your brand proud. Always happy when your schedule allows you to appear too though!

Laura Geller Isabel O'Hara Thank you for those kind words and I always look forward to being there with my gals! heart emoticon

Alison Smith Just wanted you to know I love all your make up it's the best. I don't use any other brand now, Thankyou Laura for all your hard work and for all the beautiful goodies to bring to us. Looking forward to your next visit. Sending love to you and Daniel. Hope you will be happy in your new home. Xx

Melanie Hughes Hi Laura, I love BnB but I suffer from rosecea, do you have any tips on how to maximise the coverage from it? Also would you recommend using concealer before BnB, or after? Thanks xx

Laura Geller Alison Smith I'm so touched by your words, it means the world to me! Clearly you have outstanding taste wink emoticon hehe heart emoticon

Elizabeth McGovern Hi Laura smile emoticon I love your make up, my favourite being the sculpting bronzer. I was wondering if the baked brow tones is going to become available again as the brunette shade has been sold out for some time and its my favourite ever brow product?? Thanks smile emoticon

Sylvia Jarvis I agree Isabel O'Hara, I met Sarah at the Beauty Bash this January, and she did my make up. When I got home HOURS later, I took a photo for my facebook profile pic!!

Celia David Thanks for the add to this group. Just too late for Q&A's frown emoticon

Love LG though and will read through all the posts

Laura Geller Elizabeth McGovern We don't have an answer at the moment but my team will private message you when Brow Tones in Brunette is back in stock smile emoticon

Laura Geller Sylvia Jarvis So glad you got to capture a beautiful pic for your page! That was brilliant smile emoticon

Denise Sanders If our question didn't get answered - will they follow afterwards?

Debbie Flint i am looking forward to being on with Sarah tomorrow and i will definitely go stock up on the italian souffle body creams - cant run out now they are my new crush! lol x

Laura Geller This is so much fun for me, I feel like I was hanging with my girlfriends! Counting down the days to be with you all in November! xoxo

Debbie Flint before we say goodbye, can i remind everyone that we have an EXTRA webchat with lovley Andrew Bagley from Gatineau this Wednesday - is it 8pm Sharon?

Sharon Harvay We love having you here! Always welcome in our house xx

Isabel O'Hara Date's in the diary!

Debbie Flint And this time next week it will be LOLA ROSE! with the wonderful Nikki Gewirtz ! x

Celia David My only prob is that any auto delivery is not available for mainland europe so I miss loads of tsvs after the first drop

Denise Sanders Thank you Laura. This was very special. Xxxx

Debbie Flint btw next week's Q page one is on the Q page at 7pm and is with Richard from Skechers!

Laura Geller Denise Sanders You can always ask questions on our Facebook & Twitter pages. Myself & my team are always monitoring it! You can also ask questions at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. smile emoticon

Debbie Flint if anyone wants to keep updated in what's going on, do 'like' my facebook page on here and also do subscribe to my newsletter on my website, which often includes exclusives! x

Sylvia Jarvis I love the berry tone lip colours, rather than the nude neutrals. Would it be possible to give your fairer GG's paler colours, and brighter shades for us darker girls when you next put a TSV together?

Many thanks  xx

Debbie Flint Laura you've been amazing!

Sharon Harvay Back To You members please join me in saying a HUGE thank you to Laura Geller for joining us this evening and giving us lots of sneaky info hehe, Laura you have been amazing as usual! We cannot wait to see you in November and will tune in tomorrow with Sara xx

Sue Stewart Laura it has been a pleasure 'speaking' with you tonight. It's like a multi line phone call with everyone joining in. Andie Stephany does a brilliant job with the GGG fb page and I wouldn't change my makeup for the world. Thank you and see you next month xxxx

Back to you Extra Chat - WEd 23rd - Gatineau - Andrew Bagley

Anne-Marie Mason Hi, a request more than a question please Andrew. Please consider adding an oil to your range. I think you'd do a brilliant Age Benefit one. x

Andrew Bagley You're not wrong, totally agree and request already sent to France!!

Kelly Davidson He looks just like a Hollywood star, whenever I watch that is all I see!

Andrew Bagley Your flattery is unjustifed but very sweet smile emoticon

Sharon Harvay Hi Andrew, thank you for joining us here this evening! We are so looking forward to your upcoming TSV! Please could you tell us who this set is for?

Andrew Bagley Hi Sharon, yeh I'm so excited too. I love this one as we're the best at serums and you get the whole kit for less than the anti-ageing serum alone, then you get a choice of full-size moisturiser, a full-sze Throat Gel and a full-size Lip Care

Rebecca Warren Hello Andrew Bagley my question is about the best products to use after weight loss, I have sensitive combination skin 43 years old and need help supporting my skin (face and body) after almost three stone weight loss, particularly eye, neck and number 11 lines. Thanks in advance Rebecca Warren

Andrew Bagley Hi Rebecca, the range we advise for helping clients through weight-loss is always DefiLift, it's really great for firming and toning the jawline and helping to lift x

Rebecca Warren Thanks Andrew Bagley got the oto recently with at least 10 piece travel sizes of all the different ranges so will give defilift a whirl, using the melatonin at the moment, it's fine having a better size body but seeing my Mother God bless her when I look in the mirror is a bridge too far

Sharon Harvay Fantastic Question Rebecca! Congratulations on your weightlossxx

Mags Webb Hi Andrew please are you able to tell us the price of your TSV I do love your products, thank you xx

Andrew Bagley Hi Mags, it's £59.94 and is on 3-pay which is great, thanks QVC!

Mags Webb Sharon Thank you xxx

Mags Webb Rebecca Warren Thank you for asking that I could do with that kind of help too Ill follow whatever Andrew suggests. xx

Sandra Gregory Hi Andrew I use your Melatogenine products which I love, but my eyelids are quite wrinkley, I was wondering if the Defilift would be any good for me - I am coming up to 60 years old, thanking you in advance xxx

Andrew Bagley Yes sure Sandra Gregory as we age slackening and crepiness becomes more of an issue and this is where DefiLift comes into its own.

Alison J Lowe Hi Andrew, can the Gommage be used as a mask/treatment for open pores or can you recommend another product. I am going to try

Andrew Bagley The Anti-Ageing Gommage yes, it's awesome, leave it on for 20 mins and peel it off and it's superb for closing and cleaning open pores

Alison J Lowe Thanks Andrew, I will certainly try that.

Alison J Lowe Sorry, that meant to read another product I could try! Thanks

Maggie Buxey hi Andrew i use your melatogenine eye cream but is it enough as i have every problem thier is with my eyes so is there anything else thats better for me x

Andrew Bagley You might try DefiLift Eye for Day and Melato for night, then you get the absolute best of both worlds!

Dawn Buchanan Hi Andrew Bagley, which products would u recommend for oily skin, ta x

Dawn Robinson Hello Andrew, I just wated to say how much i love Defi Lift Lip Care ! I use it every single night, my question is i would love one with a hint of pink for in the day xxx

Andrew Bagley Dawn Robinson we're right with you, the request has been lodged with Paris for a while now so fingers crossed smile emoticon x

Dawn Robinson Ooowww brilliant thank you x

Dawn Robinson The neck cream is on my wish list ! It sounds wonderful x

Dawn Buchanan Hi Andrew Bagley, which products would u recommend for oily skin, ta x

Andie Stephany Andrew Bagley - I use the neck cream and love it. Please can we have larger bottles with pumps rather than tubes?

Andrew Bagley Dawn Robinson you won't regret it, the Throat Gel is insanely good and has been a cult product for years now

Sharon Harvay Oh i love the throat product! Especially now i am almost...41...ssshhhhh... it really is a hero product x

Sharon Harvay Debbie Flint we are here smile emoticon

Andie Stephany I meant the throat gel!!! Are you 41 twice Sharon?

Sharon Harvay Andrew Bagley - what other surprises do you have for us in the shows on Saturday?

Dawn Robinson I know it's one of Debbie Flints top produts , another one i keep looking at is the hand cream ! I will be making my Chritmas list tonight x

Sharon Harvay I feel it Andie hahahaha

Alison J Lowe I love the Age Benefit Serum, will this be ok with the Defilift moisturiser as I will be getting the TSV but never tried Defilift before

Andie Stephany Andrew reminds me a bit of Nigel Havers!

Andie Stephany A young one of course!!!

Michael James Hamlyn Great to see another web chat from you Andrew, I learnt so much from the last one.

Last time I was in love with lazer 7, but I'm thinking this has been discontinued?

Luckily I like the 30 day skin perfecter too... But just wondering what you may suggest when not using this? I have the slightest whisper of fine lines but my main concern is open pores/uneven skin tone and breakouts... My skin can be reactive/sensitive but it likes the previously mentioned products and the radiance enhancing gommage.

(Oh and currently using your combo skin cleanse/tone at night)

Aisha London I tried everything. Please do you have any advice for open pores.

Andrew Bagley Hi Andie Stephany I wish we could have larger bottles too, trust me, we're trying smile emoticon

Andie Stephany Thank you. A pump would be so much easier too

Debbie Flint Hi all! Have a great chat! Andrew remind newcomers what brought u to Gatineau in first place and how u felt when you first saw Ali Young bring Gatineau to QVC ? What was it like in the early days? X

Julie Pratt Hi Andrew super excited about the TSV! Can you please do a high level detail on the two moisturisers x

Sue Stewart Hi Andrew I met you at the Beauty Bash and I must say that you paid me some lovely compliments regards my skin. I'm using Deficit and my skin love's it and the other products I have. Thank you x

Andrew Bagley So for Saturday we have two big promotions running alongside the TSV; firstly a DefiLift Eye Duo and then an amazing ultimate Age Benefit collection

Debbie Flint Just to add to the conversation about the throat Gel, yes I have used it since the early days (that and liz earle line serum when I couldn't get throat gel in my years away from QVC. Makes it nearly 20 years I guess!) When will the 20th anniversary of throat gel Andrews on QVC?

Debbie Flint By the way, am on air tonight 11pm liz claibourne fashions and midnight with tsv xmas lights! Do join me, all! X

Andrew Bagley I do love our Hand Cream, has to be said, look out for it in the massive 400ml size!

Maggie Buxey I love the throat gel I also have been using it for a long time and I can honestly say for my age it looks a lot better condition than some of my friends about the same age x

Sue Stewart I'm also using the DefiLift lip care but I'm finding my lipstick 'slips'a little. Any suggestions for best application?

Sharon Harvay I have never tried the Hand cream so thats on my list now you have said that Andrew, Thank you. However promise me you will NEVER EVER stop making your Tan Accelerator....omg its been my staple for years im addicted to it....x

Sara Brown Andrew, which should I use first age benefit serum or wrinkle corrector in my routine? I've been using Gatineau since the TSV last November. Totally addicted and recently had skin analysed and over ten years younger than my age. It's no longer feeling parched and no wrinkles in sight.

I use the age Benefit serum on alternate months.

Sara Brown's photo.

Jill Dowding-Walker I love the throat gel. With 3D neck cream over it! Double effect!

Like · Reply · 1 · 1 hr

Sandra Gregory I agree with you Sharon, Tan Accelerator is fab I ran so much more now and it lasts longer too x

Sue Stewart Third that Sharon and Sandra.

Andrew Bagley Loving the Nigel Havers comment, I think smile emoticon My mother will laugh her socks off smile emoticon

Andrew Bagley Jill Dowding-Walker you have the perfect neck routine, Throat Gel + DefiLift Throat Moisturiser, well done to you!

Sharon Harvay Jill does have THE most amzing skin x

Sue Stewart There was a fb post that asked the best thing about Gatinea. My answer was Andrew Bagley. Hope you don't mind. But you explain things so well x

Andrew Bagley Sara Brown love the testing, you must be happy! But yes you're right use the Anti-wrinkle Corrector first then serum on top, great routine, well done

Andrew Bagley Sharon Harvay we're never giving up on Tan Accelerator, fret not, i don't go anywhere without it and all the girls in the office are absolutely hooked!

Andrew Bagley Sue Stewart, try putting your lipstick on first, waiting a few minutes then pop DefiLift Lip Care on top, not my morning routine naturally but my Gatineau girls tell me it's a winner. Don't forget to use at evening also as a lip mask

Sue Stewart Thanks Andrew I've been using it the wrong way round!

Sharon Harvay Phew......everything is ok in my world smile emoticon its amazing!! I have sun sensitive skin now due to medication and have to wear a really high factor. This protects my skin and still gives me the most amazing Tan, i also use it on my Children to protect against prickly heat. It makes their skin feel beautiful. Thank you

Andrew Bagley Loving your questions toniight ladies, keep them coming, 13 minutes to go

Sara Brown Finally from me could we have an exfoliation TSV with Radiance Enhancing Gommage. Ps I'm not an addict even if the picture says otherwise.

Sara Brown's photo.

Julie Pratt Hi Andrew can you advise on the two moisturisers in the TSV?

Jill Dowding-Walker Hahaha Sara!

Sue Stewart Exfoliating products. Where have I been? Will there be any on over the weekend

Dawn Robinson Lol Sara

Andrew Bagley Sara Brown I am loving that picture, that's more Beauty Passports than I have in my office right now smile emoticon Great to see you're using it though, it's the most amazing loyalty systems out there heh. 4 whole points on the next TSV, how's about that!!

Jan Thompson Andrew what would you suggest to be the best eye cream for me, I'm a contact lens wearer and think years of stretching my eyes to insert them have taken it's toll, I do have oily skin but my eyes are quite lined underneath the eye socket at the top of my cheeks, thank you

Sharon Harvay Sue...i use it all the time, its such a beautiful lip product. Its great on top of lipstick. Ive even applied it with a lipbrush, as a gloss on top of a Matt Lipstick...oooppps smile emoticon

Sandra Taylor Has the fragrance is the cleanser changed. Recent one I opened has a smell of marzipan ?I don't like it

Andrew Bagley Now Sharon Harvay you seem as addicted as Michaela Taylor!

Andrew Bagley Hi Sandra Taylor, that sounds strange as no, no fragrances have changed; what cleasing skin type product was it please?

Jill Dowding-Walker Would love a whole set of 3D DefiLift. I know you told me not likely as that would not appeal to enough customers. Any chance that viewpoint might change? (Fingers still crossed!)

Sandra Taylor I just thought I normally get the pink toner but this time I got orange toner is the cleanser different ?

Andrew Bagley Hi Sandra, maybe take a pic of that one and send on to me personally and we'll have a look at it

Sandra Taylor Thanks Andrew

Andrew Bagley Hi Jan Thompson i'd definitely go for Melatogenine Eye, it's amazing for wrinkles full stop and also has an enzymatic exfoliating action; no sensation but massive brightening effect. It's Alison Young's go-to Eye Cream and she's not on her own. Good luck and do let me know

Jan Thompson Thanks Andrew Bagley, I really appreciate your advice x

Andrew Bagley To be honest Jill Dowding-Walker there a few DefiLift only kits on the internet with QVC that you should be able to find with a quick search. Alternatively, this TSV on Saturday is amazing from a DefiLift perspective as it's got a FS DefiLift Cream, a DefiLift Lip, the Throat Gel (best lifting ever) and then there is the DefiLift Eye Duo available as well. Enjoy!!

Andrew Bagley Any more for any more guys and girls???

Sharon Harvay It really is the most wonderful TSV and the value and the Easy pay make this a no brainer!! I think it is superb and would make the most amazing Christmas present too! Thank you Andrew and Gatineau for bringing us such a fantastic Range from such an amaazing brand x

Bruce Hymanson – webchat Monday 21st September 2015 – Bodyblade QVC Facebook gp

Hello Bodyblade Ohana!!Good evening to all. I hope you are all focused on enjoying life. How do we measure "enjoying life". Perhaps, it's about pain relief or realizing that you can now look forward to doing something you thought was out of reach or simply impossible. Perhaps, the ability to make new friends or get together with family more often. The notion that where ever you are today (and we all experience this) what are some goals we'd like to achieve? It's important to set our long term goals and our short term goals as well. The short term goals is what gets the results and puts us on the path to achieving the long term goal. The great thing about this is there are wonder things to enjoy along the way even without fully achieving the long term goal. It's so important to not lose sight of the great things that happen along the way. So, tonight, let's talk about perma-habits, short term goals, how to set them and how to succeed!! See you in just about 30 minutes

Vikesh Parmar Hello Bruce. I cannot believe how much reduction l have seen around my waist. The stomach is getting flatter. The intensity is increasing automatically! Most of all I make it routine to use the BB everyday. Bruce you are legend!

Bruce Hymanson Maureen-Guillian Barre syndrome as you know can be a very debilitating yet often a disease that patients can recover from. The severity of the attach can vary from simply tingling sensation in the extremities to paralysis of the extremities. Since I do not know your husband's case and history, it would be impossible to prescribe a treatment regimen so I suggest you take the Bodyblade to your MD or PT and let them advise you. Having said that. GBS is a neurological disease and over the years, I have treated patients using Bodyblade. As a PT, it is important to maintain flexibility and bring blood to the extremities of the patient. I also believe that stimulating the nervous system, brain to muscle and the receptors involved with balance, awareness of joint position are extremely important. Fatigue is also a factor. Bodyblade can easily adapt to the challenges your husband may experience. For those reasons, I believe the blade can help. Please, please, take it to your MD and let them have the final say

Sue Jennings I decided 3 months ago after years of yo yo dieting that it had to stop and I had to get my act together once and for all... I joined SW and I am pleased to say it is working for me with a 23 lbs so far ..I then needed a form of excercise to work along side it and after watching Bruce and Debbie a couple of weeks ago I invested in my Bodyblade's the best thing I've bought ever !! These 2 life changing moves are now my perma-habits and I hope by Christmas to be a new woman ..... Thanks to Bruce once again for his inspiration x

Bruce Hymanson Chris- welcome back! The key to perma-habits as you know is to stay in the hunt. Do a little every day or every other day. It is much easier to keep the pace and feel as though you are making progress. Great job!!

Bruce Hymanson Maureen, keep me posted on your husbands progress. I know that GB patients can make incredible gains if the recovery potential is there. If the ability to recover and rehab is there, it is important to take every opportunity to re-train the body. I would love to see that happen for your husband.

Maureen Bamford Having had a wonderful informative reply about my husband one for me now Bruce I am recovering from a broken humerus are there any exercises I shouldn't do with the body blade I broke on the 7th of April and am still in a brace

Sharon Wood Had my blade a while and struggling to get the blade to wobble when I hold my arms to side . Also is there a blade exercise good for the bottom

Like · Reply · 3 · 41 mins

Bruce Hymanson Chrissy- Bodyblade is great for improving balance. I would say, yes, for your friend with labrinthitis. Just make sure the MD in charge of her case sees the blade and approves the use before she gets started. I would recommend the Classic for her as well.

Bruce Hymanson Maureen-sorry to hear you broke your arm. Once the Doctor feels you can begin exercise on that extremity, Bodyblade can be a brilliant way to activate the entire shoulder girdle (including the back muscles and chest muscles attached to the shoulder). This will also help restore your flexibility. By now, I would assume the bone is healed (verify with MD). Are you seeing a Physio? if so, take the blade to them and get their advice. I would say, do only "wide side" exercises to start. For those who don't know what I mean when I say wide side or narrow side exercise. The position of the blade during the exercise determines whether it is wide or narrow side. For example, the Chest Press, is a wide side exercise. The Ab Crunch is a narrow side exercise. The narrow side exercises are more challenging to the body and therefore easier to start with wide side in rehab. Hope this helps.

Bruce Hymanson Sharon- When you say bottom, I assume you mean the bum not down by the side. So, do the Super6 workout and cover the entire body. The Hip & Thigh Sculptor is the most effective bottom exercise I know!!! It's challenging but the rewards are fab.

Bruce Hymanson Hi Kerry- Sounds like you are doing well. the 6th exercise is always the toughest for most to master. It requires quick movement rather that big muscle. There are several posts about how to master that exercise. On the pinned post I believe you can watch my video with Giselle who was a first time user. As for back ache. I don't know if that is simply muscle and normal fatigue? Does it last awhile. I don't think you should find yourself in pain after exercise. If necessary, check with your MD or Physio

Like · Reply · 1 · 11 mins

Bruce Hymanson Sharon- this is the jab. Holding the blade out to the side (wide side exercise) and driving the blade. You can allow this to be down by the side too. Triy to move it around to the front of your body too. Remember, light grip, find the rhythm of the blade and simply react. don't try to set the pace of the blade but speeding up or slowing down. There is only one rhythm. The blade determines that. you can only match that rhythm.

Liz Farrington Hello Bruce I was saying on here the other day. I'm so happy you invented the bodyblade. I have a disability which stops me going to the gym. But using the bodyblade is amazing the results are fantastic. I've lost 3 stone now and using the bodyblade to tone up is brilliant. Thank you Bruce for inventing this. Your a star.

Unlike · Reply · 2 · 6 mins

Bruce Hymanson In the final minute or two. I want to reinforce what's important here. Make exercise a habit. Make the Super 6 or any workout something you do on a regular basis like brushing your teeth. You would never go to sleep without taking care of your teeth and brushing every night. This is a habit. This is something you do regularly because you know it is important for your health, your hygiene and future. Bodyblade is a habit and when you do the habit more, it is harder to let it go. That's what a habit is. We have good and bad habits but once they are established, they are hard to break. Make Bodyblade a good habit, a perma-habit that will effect your life in wonderful ways.

Like · Reply · 7 · 3 mins

Bruce Hymanson Anne- to answer your question about weight watchers points, I don't know exactly how that would apply. Bodyblade training is like walking a brisk mile or a light jog in terms of calories burned in a workout. Does that help?

Superb week for Back to You QVC group on Facebook – not one but THREE fab webchats – with a 4th one with Axel Ruth from Flora Mare due this Thursday (16th – Beauty Day – around the time of his 7pm show with me on QVC UK.)

Bruce Bodyblade did his usual weekly stint on the Q&A session on Bodyblade QVC group too (all links to groups are below, do come join us!)

Adele from SBC was online, discussing amongst other things, which SBC gel is best to put on areas of tightness, tension and fatigue.

Tom and Michelle from Alpha H also joined us on Monday and gave their recommendations on which extra step to use for calmer, more refined skin and less redness.

Plus of course Doris from Doll 10 was here for her extra session on Sunday – a two hour extravaganza no less!

All info and transcripts are below – and do join us next week for a fascinating Tips and Tricks Q&A with June who does lots of makeup behind the scenes for different brands – watch out for a couple of fab video tutorials using Doll 10 makeup too, and don’t forget Doris’s Today’s Special Value this Thursday (16th - Beauty Day!)

Davina Does QVC

Lovely Davina McCall was here of course last week – and I’m thrilled that we sold out of all the warehouse stocks. Go here to Friday’s QVC blog for full info, pics and videos of not only the whole show but of her exercise class outside in the Chiswick Park playground. It’s superb for getting back on track if you’re seriously plateauing with your weight loss and also for kick-starting a healthy eating and exercise regime. Do get it if you can – and don’t forget the QVC one has an exclusive extra DVD. I loved doing her show and my hour will be repeated a lot on the Extra channels.

Delightful Detector Dogs

I was so chuffed and thrilled to visit the Medical Detector Dogs HQ in Milton Keynes this week too – with just three and a half weeks to go till my 8th August Table Top sale near Dorking – info here. I did a little update about it on my Facebook page (which anyone can read, you don’t have to be a member of a group but you can kindly ‘like’ the page if you choose!) including lots of pics – full rundown will be this Friday on the next QVC blog and I’m also going to do a Home News post about it (which you’ll get it you subscribe to my weekly email on this website. So many ways to keep in touch! Lol!)

Chris Gardner and Jade Anyway I met some amazing animals who are helping humans be more human again, often following years of debilitating illness. Chris Gardner is one example – he has all sorts of medical problems including serious blood sugar issues and his wife had to inject him with lifesaving Glycogen every day – sometimes up to six times a day – or he would die. That bad. He was grey looking, frail and used a stick. Couldn’t play ball with his toddler son and was on course for a troublesome future. Until he got given Jade six months ago. He’s only 31. Now she gently alerts him if she smells changes in his blood sugar – on his breath – in enough time to stop it going really low or too high. She alerts him if it goes below 5 or above 15. Nowadays, his most recent HBAIC measurement went from a long term high of up in the 80s (normal is around 15) to now being around mid 60s due to Jade’s ongoing care and the reduced fluctuations in his critical measurements on a daily basis. He doesn’t need his stick any more, he has put on weight and has a glow for life again. Recently at an open day for the charity he was on stage telling 250 people about his story when Jade nudged him, alerting him live on stage that he should take his bloods right there and then and she wouldn’t stop till he did. So he took them and lo and behold it was 3. The crowd were amazed. Follow his updates on twitter @gardners1983 and donate direct here -

Doris Dalton Hi @Anne-Marie Mason. Thank you for the lovely comment.. All of us have been through difficulties in our life time.. what I do personally is the following.. Everyday, we wake up with a choice... A choice to be happy and thankful for what we have and what is in front of us, or a choice to focus on the negative. I try and look at the good things that I have been blessed with.. Like the opportunity to speak to all of you.. It's a blessing.. I try and eat healthy.. Now, you know though I have to have my sticky toffee pudding every time I come over and my fish and chips. .. That is the best! I think anything with in moderation is acceptable.. Xxxxx

Kathryn Stewart Ooh la la! Is the brow fix in it? Kxx

Pam Merrifield I love the Doll 10 foundation and concealer and have been using the BB drops but notice it defines my large pore on my nose. Do I need an additional primer underneath?

Kathryn Stewart What's the blendsmart brush? X

Doris Dalton Love the Prom picture Catherine.. She is gorgeous .. And I'm just thrilled that she is wearing the foundation.. That makes me so proud.. Xxxx

Doris Dalton How did you gals figure that TSV pic out? Somebody needs to show me how to work the Internet and a computer!!!!!

Catherine Knight Thank you Doris they can't wait for this TSV

Debby Lisa Ross Thanks Doris, can't wait for September to try it, lots of love xxx

Sharon Harvay Don't worry Doris I can send you a copy

Tracy Clark Hi Doris. What do you suggest for people with problem prone skin and health issues with their hands

Kathryn Stewart See told you Sharon was tempting us! Lol

H'aitchy Robertson What colour is the lip stick and gloss? Hard to see from pic. Is it red ?

Yvonne Corser I use ultra sun, decleor iris drops and moisturiser followed by your BB and your foundation. Is this too much? My foundation never seems to look right but this is my skin care routine

Doris Dalton Hi Pam... The BB drops should make your pores look smaller.. Make sure you are blending it in.. instead of the sponge that comes with the BB Drops, try using a brush to buff over the nose area and smooth it out.. Also when apply the foundation in that area make sure you buff it with a brush. I have large pores around my nose as well and that is what works best for me.. I hope that helps.. Xxxx

Jill Dowding-Walker If you are bringing the Blendsmart brush in September, please can you cajole, wheedle and whine to QVC to put it on 3 or 4 Easy-Pays?

Doris Dalton Hello Juliette.. I hope you are more then pleasantly surprised with the products.. I love making beautiful products that look and feel great on the skin. I love working with the textures of cosmetics to make them thin and comfortable to wear as well as long lasting. I hate the feel of anything heavy or mask Like. I believe that make up should compliment you not hide or change you.. please let me know what you think once you've had a chance to try it..

Juliette Rowland Thank you Doris I will x

Aisha London What are the items in the tsv I can't tell.

Doris Dalton Hi Claire.. We cant let you run out of foundation anymore!!!!! It's in the TSV and Conceal it too! My two must haves. I wanted to make sure they were in there.. Xxxx

Kathryn Stewart Is the brow fixer in the TSV Doris! It's been my saviour with sparse, fair menopausal brows x

Doris Dalton Hi Hi'aitchy it isn't red.. That picture makes the color look a little brighter then it actually is.. It's a richer deep shade of rose and the blush is shear that matches the lip stick and gloss. The ladies were asking for a richer shade and this one is fab! I think you will love it..

Marie McEwan hi there Doris Greetings from sunny you have a suncare range at all?

Natalie Coe Hi Doris. I'm a recent convert. I especially love the conceal it concealer. I'll probably go for the light in the TSV for when my tan fades. I guess you're busy running the Doll 10 empire most of the time but what do you like to do in your spare time? X

H'aitchy Robertson Great Doris. I was hoping it wasn't red. Loved last tsv n will be buying this one too.

Doris Dalton Hi Jill.. I wish I had control of easy pay.. I always ask for it! I love Easy Pay.. It's like the easy pay lottery lol.. I hope they do.. Trust me I ask! i do know that the TSV is under 35 pounds so I'm really happy about that..

Joanne Mitchell I love the flat foundation blending brush, I use it every day. I wash it with anit-B hand soap and it dries beautifully... like new every time. A fantastic brush

Sharon Harvay yayayayayayay x

Aisha London 35 pound is a bargain

Sharon Harvay It is Aisha especially when you consider how ,Much the concealer and foundation are individually!! The price is just amazing! Great way for newbies to try and for devotee's to restock x

Jill Dowding-Walker Have you thought about my earlier question yet please? How would you layer your complexion products to get the best coverage in areas of imperfections

Doris Dalton Hi Yvonne.. if you are using several different layers of products you have to wait for each layer to dry.. A pain I know, but layers can interfere with each other..its always great to where an spf.. I'm a big fan of sun protection. i believe that the ultra sun has moisturizers in it so you might be over doing it.. Try using a moisturizer at night and in the morning just add your spf then follow with the foundation.. Let me know if that helps..

Yvonne Corser Thankyou Doris. Love you heaps xxxx

Doris Dalton Hello Tracy.. Sorry to hear about your hands.. I use Loccitane as my hand cream.. also make sure when you are cleaning and around detergents that you protect them..possible with gloves. Also, check the soap that you use to wash your hands with. I use a very mild soap that has moisturizer in it. Make sure that your soap doesn't have any alcohol in it as well.. I hope that helps..

Tracy Clark Sorry Doris Dalton. I meant the easiest of your products to use. My fault x

Doris Dalton Hi Jill.. Yes.. I get asked that question the most of any particularly because I have a lot of skin issues.. Here is my routine.. Start with your foundation first.. I use that all over My face.. The reason you start there first is because foundation is typically lighter then your conceaor and can cover more then you think.. Then the areas that are red or are peaking through, I use a stippling motion which is like a dabbing motion with conceal or on those areas.. Once it is almost dry, then I blend with a brush.. The whole process takes me less then a few minutes.. Once you get the stippling technique down you will never have any problem spots peaking through.. Hope that helps.. Let me know..xxxx

Jill Dowding-Walker Fabulous Doris - that's a great routine, thank you! smile emoticon x

Gill Briers Hi Doris which of your foundations would be best for my very oily skin - I want no shine at all! Looking forward to your TSV i really want to try the concealer!

Sally Ann Webb Doris thank you for the blendsmart brush ,I you for this and your amazing foundation

Anne Keating Hi Doris. I'm just starting to use Doll 10 and find as I have very little in the way of eyebrows, I'm not sure how to use the brow product. Hopefully I will have more brows to work on soon as I'm using Revitabrow! xx

Debby Lisa Ross I love your conceal it concealer, it is the best one. My daughter Jade who is 16 also wears it. Here she is last week at her prom wearing doll 10 xx

Doris Dalton Hi Natalie.. I must tell you, that I LOVE doing what I do, it never feels like work.. so I am really blessed... But, in my spare time, I take care of animals.. I work with an animal rescue.. I have a colony of cats in my neighborhood that I care for.. I'm also recently enjoying wedding plans for my son and his future bride Caitlin.. That has been a true highlight.. I think I have mentally bought myself about 8 dresses for the wedding already! Lol

Alexandra McMahon Are your foundations drying to the skin?also is it suitable for sensitive skin

Sharon Harvay hahahahah.....Wonder who will do Caitlins make up? lol

Natalie Coe Haha Doris! I volunteer at a local dog rescue centre in my spare time. That's where I got my gorgeous I puppy, Ziva, from.  animals x

Sharon Harvay Doris before you go...what else can we look forwardto on Thursday apart from your fabulous personality and amazing TSV ?

Doris Dalton Hi Gill.. None of my foundations are matte. They all leave a glow to the skin.. If you want to mattify the foundation, may I suggest that you try the mirage blending powder .. It will instantly mattify the skin and set your foundation as welol as soften any make up mistakes.. I use that when I'm on air To reduce and shine.. I hope that helps..

Gill Briers ahh I will have a look a that! thank you for answering!

Sharon Harvay oooooooohhhh Must try that!!! I love the colour correcting powder too! That is amazing, gives a fab finish for photos!!

Doris Dalton Hello Alexandra.. The foundations are very moisturizing and great for the skin. the hydrafluid foundation is a water based foundation so it is very light weight.. however, if you have very sensitive skin, you should always to a small patch test on the side of your face just to make sure.. Xxxxx

Doris Dalton Gorgeous Pic Debby.. Your daughter is a dream!

She is an amazing young woman.. And I'm a bit bias but Devon is a pretty special young man.. They have dated since they were 16 so she has already felt like a daughter now for so many years..

Sharon Harvay Told ya i love em

Doris Dalton hi Anne..brows are easy once you get the hang of it.. you know, I think they are the most important part of your make up.. In fact, I'm a bit obsessed with brows. I would tell you to slow down when you are doing your brows.

Caroline Harris I love the lippies too! I love everything haha! Excited for Thursday! xx

Sharon Harvay brilliant x

Doris Dalton yeah Sally Ann.. I'm so glad you love the Blendsmart brush.. I really think it's brilliant too..

Doris Dalton yaeh Joanne.. So glad you love the precision foundation brush. Having the right brushes is just as important if not more then having the right make up...

Doris Dalton Hello Marie from sunny Ireland... PS I'm half Irish lol.. No, not yet.. Right now I am just focusing on color cosmetics and not skin/sun care.. There are several really great skin care lines that provide spf.. I know that ultra sun is pretty popular in Europe. I use a cream with spf for skin protection as you know, our Irish skin burns pretty easily.. a little trick also, you can use a tinted moisturizer with spf then apply your foundation. The tinted moisturizer will even your skin tone out.. Also all foundations have a physical sun block in them from the pigment even if it's not claimed on the bottle.. Xxxx

Doris Dalton hi Kathryn.. The brow is not in the TSV but I will have it in stock.. The TSV has just about everything else in it tho. I think you will really love it..

Alexandra McMahon I'm so excited.never used doll before but I'm going to give it a go.x

Marie McEwan Thanks Doris....I knew those good looks and that fabulous sense of humor was in some way connected to this place!!!!! More power to you and your company!!!x

Sharon Harvay Oh Alexandra!! You will love it!

Sharon Harvay Doris just Quickly as I know there is alway confusion over foundation colour to go for... Can you help? X

Doris Dalton Kathryn, it's an automatic make up brush that rotates and runs on a lithium battery.. It is sold out currently and I will have more stock in September.. So sorry you missed it.. It's awesome.

Alexandra McMahon I hope so....a few haven't suited me recently for different reasons.i love a pink blush, it's my colour x

Sara Brown Was about to ask the same as Sharon. I'm fairly light in bare minerals and I've not used liquid for two years. Much in need of a new concealer

Sharon Harvay Bronzer back this week? x

Doris Dalton Hi Sara.. I love a cream or liquid foundation/concealer personally.. I always top off my make up with a very light dusting of a powder.. Conceal it is pretty thin and goes on really light.. So is the foundation. im actually working on a moisturizing powder foundation that should be ready next year.. I can keep you posted..

Sharon Harvay oooooohhh la la x

Sara Brown Thanks Doris. I much prefer a cream concealer. Looking forward to the powder foundation.

Sharon Harvay We have been so spoilt this evening by an almost 2 hour long Web Chat with Doris!!! xx

Alexandra McMahon Thanks doris.some great advice

Can't wait for tsv now x

Doris Dalton Shade choices for the foundations are pretty easy.. The fair shade is for ultra fair gals.. You always burn in the sun.. Think I'd Nicole Kidman or Snow White .. It has a bit of a pink undertake one to it.. Light is the shade that I wear.. It's a bit warmer and not as pink. A blend between pink and yellow. It's for gals that burn in the sun but then turn to tan..Medium is warmer then the light definitely the most popular shade and is yellow under tones..tan is the richest color for love skin tone complexions. The foundation and Conceal it match each other.. Don't forget that in the summer your foundation tends to be a bit warmer then in the fall or winter months. Even tho you use spf, you still get sun. I typically don't change my foundation color. If I notice that it appears a bit light because my skin has warmed in the summer, I usually sweep a small bit of bronzer on my face.. Hope that helps..

Doris Dalton I hope I didn't miss anybody.. Thank you all for spending your Sunday evening with me.. You ladies are the best! See you on Thursday.. After I eat my fish and chips.. Yes, in the news paper and top it off with my sticky toffee pudding.. Xxxxxxxx

Sharon Harvay That is fabulous explain!! Thank you Doris...Ladies hope that helps all you Snow whites out there!! Love it!! I use Medium and love it and adore the bronzer, its huge, its like a saucer size hahahaha x

Wow Doris you have been amazing, i am so excited for thursdays TSV and cannot wait to tune in and see you and all your amazing products! if anyone is sitting on the frence, please give it a go it really is a beautiful range that is easy to apply, easy to wear, suits all skin types and colours and feel and looks warning though...its addictive hahahahaha thank you Doris xxxxxx

Sharon Harvay Welcome xx

Sharon Harvay Thanks Doris xx

Lesley Redmond Hi Adele can you use collagen gel as your daily and nightly moisturiser, I am going away and don't want to take to much with me.

Sue Stewart Hi Adele I hope you are well. I have a friend who is starting chemotherapy tomorrow for breast cancer. I have a Propolis shower cream and gel would this be good for her as a pick me up. I want to do uplifting things for her with treats as she journeys along this tough and scary road she has in front of her. She also has to have radiotherapy and perhaps surgery. Xx

Sam-lee Taylor Hi Adele is lavender safe to use on a very unsettled 3 year old after her bath or have the shower gel swell. It takes her so long to settle wondered if this may relax her a bit xx

Jacqueline Jackson Hi Adele welcome. I recently purchased the camphor gel and it's absolutely fabulous! My legs get really hot at night and this has made them feel a lot more comfortable and so I can sleep better. What other ways can I use it or what else could I mix it with? Thank you. x

Vicki Edwards Hi Adele, I really suffer with cramp, not just during the night but also when I'm just sitting or when swimming . In my legs, tops of feet , calfs etc .

Will any of the gels help at all? I take Quinine tablets on prescription but they don't really work.

Amanda Marie Jayne Thomas What is the best way to apply the arnica warming gel? I use it on my knee.

Sue Farrell Hi Adele, I love Lavender gel - what would you say are the main reasons someone would use it? Can I use it on my face? and does it really have proven calming/relaxing properties? Thank you! I love SBC gels smile emoticon

Claire Louise Hi Adele can you do a TSV with supersize collagen and honey collection. x x

Ktm Mn Hi Adele what would you recommend for acne skin to help heal it and settle to compliment the medication used to treat it

Tracie-Jane Bath Hi Adele,is there a product i could use to settle muscle spasms in my legs?xx

Lynn Parry Hi Adele loving the last TSV I took the AD option. I suffer with really dry broken skin around my nails and cuticles which gets really sore it is worse in summer than winter what can I use to help it heal and moisturise it? I use hand cream daily and nail oils. Many thanks xxx

Hazel Owen Dry to oily skin which is the best one to use on face been using 3-1 cleanser coligan

Dawn Robinson Hello Adele my daughter has a question, she suffers with dry skin around her nose what would you advise please ? x

Adele Sbc Good Evening! How are you all? So delighted to be invited to take part in tonights Q&A. Will do my very best to ensure I answer everything as thoroughly as possible. xxx

Adele Sbc Hi Lesley Redmond. Yes! most definitely, positively and absolutely. I agree that its great to travel light and the collagen gel will be light, cool and freshing for your skin. Have a wonderful time and just make sure you use plenty of sun screen. Its the number 1 rule.xx

Tom Ogden Awww thanks Liz! Thats really kind of you and kicked off our Facebook night on a high wink emoticon M&Tx

Adele Sbc Hi Sue Stewart, so lovely to hear from you. I am sorry to hear your friend is having such a difficult time. I would always recommend that anything used on your skin is approved by her consultant but I definitely think the propolis would be ideal for her. We also have many clients that use the Aloe Vera Collection whilst going through similar treatments as it cools the skin following radiotherapy. Perhaps a little of both? But as I said, please do check that they are OK before use. Lots of love to you.xx

Sharon Harvay Hi Adele, hope you are well! Thank you for joining us this evening, we really appreciate it x

Sue Stewart Thanks Adele you know me well. You helped me with my mum when she was alive now my friend. Thank you xxx

Lesley Redmond Thanks so much Adele for your reply much appreciated xxx

Adele Sbc Hi Sam Sam-lee Taylor. So glad you have asked. Always good to check with your little ones! I think that 3 years is fine to use a little Lavender on at bedtime. I also think that the application of the gel can become part of your relaxation routine to help to calm her before bedtime. I am sure that you have all of these tips covered but just try to create a regular pattern that starts to send signals to her that you are winding down. Some music, stories and a little massage with the lavender is helpful as well as creating a lovely bond for you both. May I also say that I feel your pain. I have a gorgeous 17 year old daughter who never had any intention of going to bed.....ever! If its any help it does pass. I hope it helps. Lots of

Adele Sbc Hi Jacqueline Jackson. You can target any area that has tightness, tension and fatigue such as muscles that may have been overstretched following exercise of excursion. The gel has a mild tingling almost numing sensation that stimulates and energises the tissue. You can use a small amount on in combination with Arnica or indeed any other gel you feel needs that Zing!.x

Jacqueline Jackson Thank you Adele it smells gorgeous x

Carol Gillmore Hi Adele I've lost some weight and my tummy area is now a bit wobbly and slack what would be the product to help with this ? X

Lynn Parry Sorry another one from me I am a recent convert to the collagen gel at night team and slather it on my face and décolleté would I use my oil under or over the collagen gel? Thanks xx

Adele Sbc Hi Vicki Edwards. Poor you! How uncomfortable. I would perhaps try the Leg Soothing Gel which has calming Arnica as well as refreshing Camphor and Witch hazel. I really hope it helps.x

Vicki Edwards Thanks Adele, I havnt seen that one, Ive got Arnica , I'll look for the soothing gel , thanks x

Karen Cartwright We have your gels everywhere in our house. My Husband likes me to put arnica and aloe vera on his back before he goes to bed, he claims it stops his back itching and makes him sleep all night long.

Karen Cartwright I love your Vitamin collection and use they day and night and we all bath in propolis. xx

Adele Sbc Hi Amanda Marie Jayne Thomas. Apply the warming gel to clean dry skin. I think it is best used on its own as the thicker formula doesn't blend as effectively as the other gels. Parhaps if you have time apply a warm compress with some Arnica Muscle soak before hand? Apply a small amount, perhaps 10 pence piece, and massage into the area gently. You can leave for 20 minutes then buff away if you prefer or simply massage until it has absorbed. It does take a little longer than other gels as it has a texture that is more like a balm. xx

Sharon Harvay I love love love Aloe Vera so much! It's beautiful on ankles and neck and pulse's so cooling and refreshing xx

Adele Sbc Hi Sue Farrell. Lavender has the most incredible properties that is often under rated. It has anti septic properties and is really great for oily or congested skin. It will help to reduce any reactive redness on your skin. So, apply to the face to reduce sensitivity, oiliness or congestion. Great to support you during seasonal changing on your skin with environmental damage. Lavender is also an essential oil which means it has a particular chemical construction. Its effects are powerful when applied to the skin and inhaled. We have used it for so man years to relieve emotional stress and to promote rest. Great to add to Arnica for body treatments. I have to stop....I'm going on and on and on.xx

Tom Ogden Hi Adele! Do you do any nice gels?

Adele Sbc Hi Claire Louise. Great idea! Keep your eye out for that new Honey Collection. Not too long to wait. I'll try to give you the nod.xx

Claire Louise Thanks Adele x x

Adele Sbc Hi Ktm Mn. I think if you have acne that is receiving medical attention I would suggest the propolis gel which will help to contain and maintain a healthy surface of the skin to reduce bacterial growth. This should compliment any treatment you are receiving but do check with your GP if you have any concerns. I might also add some Lavender to the mix to reduce any redness.xx

Adele Sbc Hi Tracie-Jane Bath. I think as suggested a little earlier to Vicki, I would perhaps try the Leg Soothing Gel or the warming Arnica Gel. The massage of these products on a regular basis may also really help.x

Sharon Harvay Fabulous thanks Adele xx

Adele Sbc HI Lynn Parry. I think that if you upgrade your lotion with a little propolis to your had lotion it may really help. Do it moring and night, even if you don't have time to use your lotion.x

Jill Dowding-Walker Really eager for the new Honey range! What products will be available? What skin is it for?

Adele Sbc Hi Hazel Owen. May I ask if you have dry and oily skin at different times or do you have an oily T-Zone. I think the Collagen 3in1 is fabulous particularly for dry skin but it may help me to understand a little better if you could tell me a little more?x

Jan Penn Hi Adele, my new best friend is the Rose and argan gel, goes under my moisturiser everyday, and at night I mix with the collagen as a mask, loving it, is there anything special coming up with it in, would love a duo of 500ml please xx

Sharon Harvay Jill you will not be disappointed it is stunning! The honey scrub is in my new blog! Smell is just divine x

Lynn Parry Oooh I like that idea Jan Penn xx Cant wait to try the honey Sharon Harvay sure it has great healing properties xxx

Adele Sbc Hi Dawn Robinson, I think a little Jasmine & Evening Primrose would be good. The ingredients are fabulous to normalise areas of irritation and dryness.x

Dawn Robinson Brill i will let her know and thank you for the advice when i burnt my hand a few weeks ago xx

Adele Sbc Hi Carol Gillmore. I would suggest a blend of our Body Firming Gel with Collagen. Body Firming Gel has stimulating ingrediets such as coffee and Algae which can help to taughten the surface of the skin.xx

Carol Gillmore Thankyou Adele x

Sylvia Jarvis Hi Adele ~ I bought the NŪFACE system when it was a TSV a little while ago. I'm not keen on the conductive gel which came with it, and wondered if I could use my Collagen or Propolis gel instead. Many thanks xx

Adele Sbc I would apply under you oil Lynn Parry as the water based formulas that we use do not create a barrier for the oil to penetrate. If hoever you use the oil first, your Collagen gel will sit on top of the oil and prevent it's efficacy.x

Sue Farrell Thanks so much Adele!

Lynn Parry Thank you for all your help and advise Adele xx

Sharon Harvay Adele when are you back on Qvc? X

Karen Cartwright I think I will be buying more gels. Thanks Adele xx

Adele Sbc Vicki Edwards - Leg Soothing gel is in a great kit tomorrow in 100ml sizes. Fab way to try before you invest in a larger size. Its one of the products I have at home at all times. Another great

Sylvia Jarvis This is what I'm talking about xx

Adele Sbc Amazing Karen Cartwright! I'm sure he loves the massage too. He's not silly is he? xx

Adele Sbc Tom Ogden. What I don't know about gels aint worth knowing! I need to see you soon. xxx

Karen Cartwright No he isn't Adele, he rolls on his front every night and asks for the wonder gels to be applied! He has a frozen shoulder and he has very itchy skin on his back but since I have been using the gels he sleeps like a baby and his shoulder is much improved. Your gels are wonderful and if they get men looking after their skin too that is brilliant, my hubby isn't a cream and lotion man at all. xx

Karen Cartwright I ordered the Judith Williams latest range and had a terrible reaction to it, but I kept it and added your Vit C and Vit E to it and I can now use it and my skin looks lovely if I say so myself. On a night I smother probably too many gels on, I start with the collagen, then go onto the Vit C, then the Vit E and then Lavender. Heaven knows if I should apply layer after layer but my skin seem to like all of them, I never know when to stop. xx

Adele Sbc Hi Jill Dowding-Walker. We are launching 3 new Honey Shower Cremes. Honey & Almond, Honey & Cedarwood and Honey & Oats. They have been the most enormous success in Italy so we will be bringing them to the UK. I think you'll love them.xx

Sue Stewart Adele please advise best way to use the Aloe Vera gel and what can I mix it with. This one's a new one to me x

Karen Cartwright I want to try the blue gel, I'm not sure what it is called but someone said it is fab. It is the one on your stand above, a lovely colour xx

Adele Sbc Hi Jan Penn We have definitely had a collagen and Rose Duo recently. I will check details of availability and let you know. It may be tomorrow but I will get back to you if OK? I love the duo's. Why have one when you can have two is what I say! x

Sue Stewart Can't wait for the new gels to come when will it bee (pun intended) please.

Sharon Harvay Camphor!!! OMG my son is smothered in it as we speak!!! Coughs, cold, aches pains, cooling soothing.... It is fabulous xx

Adele Sbc And yes Jan Penn, I salute you. Great work.xx

Karen Cartwright I am looking forward to tomorrow now and because Hubby likes the gels I can order and order x

Adele Sbc You are so welcome Dawn Robinson. I hope you are ok? May I just say that what ever it is your family are using you are clearly a complete pro. You are all just gorgeous! Beautiful Children...Well done you! xx

Susan Buckland Hi Adele Will I still be able to use honey and almond one as I am allergic to almond because I found out by accident but I'm allergic to Almond

Adele Sbc Hi Sylvia Jarvis Yes! Most definitely. SBC was created to be used with conductive equipment. I would suggest the collagen gel. Such a brilliant way to use them and often the way they are used in the spa.xx

Jan Penn Thanks Adele, any hints on TSV please? Xx

Adele Sbc Sharon Harvay Tomorrow! Quick little hit on the lunchtime show which I love. More chat, is what I was born to do. The we have an hour show at 4pm and another at 11pm. I get to work with Craig Rowe TvPresenter at 11pm. You have no idea how happy this makes me. Hope to see you there? x

Susan Buckland Hi Debbie how's the house clearing going well I hope

Adele Sbc Karen Cartwright, I think your doing fine. Your skin will soon tell you if you are overusing a product or if you have any sensitivity.xx

Sharon Harvay Adele Sbc Thank you so much for joining us for this amazing web chat!! Always so informative, we learn so much from you about these stunning gels!! looking forward to seeing you on Qvc tomorrow. Thank you Adele, have a wonderful evening x

Adele Sbc Sue Stewart, Aloe vara can be applied to any area that is overheated. Often the case with radiotherapy. The skin should not be broken. When skin is heated it loses moisture very quickly. Its important to soothe with the Aloe Vera and to rehydrate. the gels are great for this and they are so light they don't make the heated skin sweat. Keep in the fridge for extra cooling benefits.xx

Sue Stewart Thanks Adele and Sharon xx

Adele Sbc Karen Cartwright. Sounds like the Camphor and Menthol to me. Its QVC's Supersize of the moth. IS AMAZING> xx

Jacqueline Jackson Thank you Adele and Sharon x

Adele Sbc Susan Buckland. I think this is something you should be cautious of. Our prducts contain the natural extract. It may be that you are only allegic to ingesting Almonds but please check. You should always patch test before using anything you think may cause a reaction.x

Tom Ogden Well Gel Adele...geddit

Sharon Harvay oh lord......get the Valium

Sylvia Jarvis Thanks for such an informative "chat" ~ also, how's the "Guide to Gels" coming along?  xx

Dawn Robinson Thank you Adele & Sharon xx

Sharon Harvay Omg  the pleasure is all mine! But thank you so much xxx

Susan Buckland Ok Adele I will do that thank you i'm okay with your camphor and menthol ones which works wonders on my back thanks Adele and good night to you and Sharon

Adele Sbc We are working really hard to ensure that as many kits as possible are delivered with a quick "How to & Tips" info. It is a work in progress but It is on hand.xx

Hazel Owen Adele Sbc hi I have dry checks and oily t zone, sorry for late reply just been at Cubs

Adele O'Donoghue No problem Hazel Owen. Ok, I would use the Collagen 3in 1 cleanser then perhaps the Jasmine & Evening primrose gel which is great to balance unsettled skin, Hope it helps.xx

Hazel Owen Thank you so much for the help love love Sbc

Sue Stewart You still hear Adele x last to leave the party xxxx

Allison McManus Hallas I want to ask I have just bought the Instant Facial to use on holiday do I use it before or after ultrasun don't want to get it wrong?

Liz Clark lovely pic my two fav qvc guests x

Sonia Val-carreres I would love if Tom could give us a holiday routine, while you are in the sun. I know he has said before not to use the liquid gold, so I will like to know what other product we should/should not been using on hols. Thanks Tom/Michelle.

Liz Clark i use it at night then use a sunscreen in the day. but i only use the liquid gold now 2 nights a week as maintenance

Gill Briers I can't be online tonight but just want to say that I love the range, especially the micro cleanse, there's no other that works so well. Am looking forward to the TSV!

Liz Clark micro cleanse is the best. no other scrub beats it and the smell is invigorating

Laura Smith Please can you recommend products to help with oily, congested t zone, with open pores? Thanks x

Laura Smith PS, I'm in St Ives at mo where Internet is very poor so may not be able to respond later x

Mandy Ball When is the next TSV?

Amirah Valu Hello Tom and Michelle, firstly thank you for taking part in the chat. At the moment i'm suffering from angry hormonal spots that are painful and bleed. I have stopped wearing make-up when possible and stripped back my skincare. I have been using liquid gold but only recently found found out that I need to wear a SPF the next day (I know you should always wear spf rain or sun). Would love your tips smile emoticon

Dawn Robinson Hello Tom my question is my Son is 16 and keeps getting breakouts would any of the Alpha H products be suitable to help this xx

Tom Ogden Hello Everyone! How was your Monday? M&Txx

Tom Ogden Hi Allison! Michelle here! I would recommend you use it before applying your Ultrasun and if you're on holiday, use it as your cleanser, toner, exfoliant and skin plumper! Mx

Sandra Taylor Hi Tom fabulous thanks I received my alpha h delivery today smile emoticon

Sharon Harvay Hi Tom & Michelle, thank you for joining us this evening! Lovely to welcome you both back xx

Tom Ogden Hi Sonia! When you're on holiday, "less is best". We want minimal beauty routine so lets go for 'cleanse followed by Daily Essential Moisturiser SPF 50+' and then at night, cleanse and Essential Hydration Cream'. 2 step, 24/7 and we've got you covered! M&Tx

Allison McManus Hallas Thank you Michelle! I am thrilled with the results from Alpha H have also got my 18yr of son using your cleanser my skin has never looked as good x Allison

Sandra Taylor I wanted to ask i have just purchased the alpha h micro cleanse with glycolic acid & rice bran. It says use 3 times a week, how should i use liquid gold? On the same days but the evening?

Tom Ogden Hi Laura! Tom and I know all about open pores! We recommend you use the Micro Cleanse for zero pores and super smooth skin. Check out QVC, they have a Supersize. And the best part can use it whenever it suits YOU! M&Tx

Tom Ogden Hi Amirah! We feel your pain frown emoticon We've been there too! Would love you to try our Balancing & Pore Refining Mask. It's loaded up with Lavender and anti-inflammatory ingredients and if you can sleep in it, you'll wake up with calmer, more refined skin and less redness. P.S. Dampen the mask with warm water before you remove it, which helps to make it super-easy to remove. Please let us know how you get on. M&Tx

Eileen Kenna Hello Michelle and Tom,

hope you're both having a lovely evening.

I'm a new Micro Cleanse user and am immediately noticing the benefits, but could you advise what's best to use in conjunction with it. Further cleanser and moisturiser?

I've got combination skin and I'd desperately like to try and get my oily t-zone under control.

Many thanks. x

Tom Ogden Hi Dawn! Clear Skin Daily Face Wash is a must for this young skin. Hormones who needs them?!! P.S. A certain "Niall" loves this product. He's in a rather popular boy band...just saying' wink emoticon

Tom Ogden Hi Allison! Thats fantastic. We appreciate the feedback as it keeps us bounding out of bed each morning, knowing we can make a difference! M&T x

Adele Sbc Hey Tom & Michelle! So glad to be sharing the FB chat with you both!. Have fun and lots of love, Adele xxx

Tom Ogden Hi Eileen! That's fab to hear that you're enjoying the Micro Cleanse. We'd love you to try our Triple Action Cleanser, which helps to minimise the excess oil, but also removes all your make up. With regard to moisturising, go Balancing Moisturiser all the way. It's your five-in-one: oil-absorber, pore-refiner, sleep-in exfoliant, eye-cream and it can go from top to toe! It changed my life, hope it helps you too!! Mx

Tom Ogden Adele!! We love the fact that we're all one big family! Can't wait to see you at the party. We heart emoticon our QVC friends!! M&Txxx

Dawn Robinson Wow ! thank you so much Tom i really appreciate that x

Eileen Kenna Thanks great Michelle thank you. x

Tom Ogden Hi Gill! We think you'll love our TSV wink emoticon

Jo Brown will there ever be a vegan version of Liquid Gold so I can see what I'm missing? Thanks

Sandra Taylor Tom did you get my question?

Tom Ogden You're welcome Dawn wink emoticon X

Tom Ogden Hi Jo Brown! We already's called Instant Facial - and it's 93% natural too! Mx

Sarah Hills Hi Tom and Michelle I've not tried Alpha H at all - I have very dry skin which can be sensitive what could you recommend for me to start off with?

Tom Ogden Hi Sarah! So you're an Alpha-H virgin wink emoticon We'd love to know what you're currently using so that we can simplify your routine and get you amazing results right from the get go! M&Tx

Tom Ogden Hi Sandra! When it comes to Liquid Gold, we recommend you use it each alternate evening. Cleanse your skin thoroughly first and then apply the Liquid Gold using a cotton pad. Remember that it's your "Lazy Girl" night so you don't need to use anything else, you can just go straight to bed afterwards! Hope you enjoy using it!! M&Tx

Tom Ogden Isn't anyone going to ask us about a certain TSV that might possibly be happening in a lounge room near you soon...hehehehehe! Come on - be cheeky...we won't tell!! XXXX

Sarah Hills Hi, mostly elemis but I've got a great beauty 'shop' in the bedroom, decleor, gatineau, clarins, liz earle! Right now using periconne cleanser at night with clarins multi active night cream. At day use Elemis pro collegen cream but when that is not hydrating enough use Judith Williams! Yes I am all over the shop! Scrub face 2-3 times a week and use loads of hydrating masks. Have professioal facials about every 3 weeks with body scrubs too at either an Elemis saloon or Clarins!

Jill Dowding-Walker Go on then Tom! Do tell! x

Claire Horgan Hey guys skin gone crazy after 2 back to back pregnancies. .want to start a new regime from scratch. .What do you recommend please xxxx

Eileen Kenna Go on then Tom, just whisper.

No one will notice

Karen Hunt Hi Tom and Michelle. Is there anywhere along the south coast I can experience an Alpha H facial? Would love to treat myself

Tom Ogden Hi Sarah! Did you know that a daily SPF is the most anti-ageing product you can put on your skin and guess what, it doesn't even need to be Alpha-H. As a responsible brand, it's worth adding to your system! Thanks for tuning in! M&Tx

Tom Ogden Well Jill... It might have something new...something dermatologically tested in it, which is perfect for the eye area...with an SPF wink emoticon Can't give too much away so you'll have to tune in! M&Tx

Jill Dowding-Walker Ya big tease! wink emoticon LOL!

Jo Brown Tom you can tell me, I've not had a tv signal since I's an ethical question so I can check out if it's a vegan TSV or not, shift work and staying up til midnight to check online does not make for good beauty sleep

Karen Hunt I'm in for the tsv no matter what's in it!

Tom Ogden Hi Claire! If you'd like a detailed prescription you can private message us with what you're currently using. We'll give you a heads up on one or two products that may get the ball rolling. Balancing Cleanser and Liquid Gold are a must and they slot in with anything and so quick to use (in-between feeds and everything else that goes with being a new mum!) Congratulations btw - send a piccie! That stork must have been busy!!! M&Tx

Tom Ogden Hi Jo. Can't give too much away about the TSV. 98% of our products are vegan friendly. We're sure you'll find something that will help your skin. QVC have an amazing range. Would definitely love you to try Instant Facial. It's your skin's new best friend! M&Tx

Tom Ogden Hello Karen! How are you? M&Tx

Tom Ogden Hi Sharon! Be-have! Can't give too much away about the TSV just yet, but we're very excited about it. Something old...something new...something gold hehehehe wink emoticon

Karen Hunt I'm fine having just taken delivery of the 500ml of balancing cleanser and bargain hunter micro cleanse. I know this will sound weird but my face almost sighs when I use your products!

Sharon Harvay Now I'm blue

Sharon Harvay Hahaha x it will be amazing thank you x

Sandra Taylor Thanks Tom you answered half my question lol

Tom Ogden Hi Karen! We know that feeling!! wink emoticon So glad you're an Alpha-Holic too! X

Tom Ogden Any other questions peeps? We are poised at the keyboard! M&Tx

Karen Hunt Where can I treat me and mum to an Alpha H facial. Desperate need of a treat!

Dawn Robinson What is your favourite Alpha-H product Tom ? x

Tom Ogden Btw everyone... did you know that 80% of skin ageing is due to everyday sun exposure. So get into your cupboards and get out your SPF moisturisers and make sure you use them over the holidays! M&Tx

Sarah Hills Do you have a really hydrating mask that you can recommend?

Tom Ogden Another little tip... Pop your Absolute Eye Complex in the fridge to make it extra-cooling, extra-firming and extra-soothing!! M&Tx

Tom Ogden Hi Sarah. Salon tip for you... We slather on a thick ole layer of the Essential Hydration Cream and let it soak in to plump, soothe and load up your skin with moisture! P.S. If you've been in the sun (shock horror!!!) then put it in the fridge so it's extra cooling! Enjoy! M&Tx

Sharon Harvay Tom how did you personally discover Alpha H? Has it dramatically changed your skin? X

Sarah Hills Thank you will order and give it a go.

Tom Ogden Hi Dawn! My favourite product is Balancing Cleanser and I've just pinned Michelle down to...Micro Cleanse! That's a first - normally she chooses four or five!!! Tx wink emoticon

Tom Ogden Whats your favourite Dawn??? smile emoticon M&Tx

AJ Humph Hi Tom &Michelle I love triple action cleanser it keeps my hormonal skin calm.youve mentioned the TSV but when is it-do tell please nicely xxxxz

Tom Ogden Another tip for you... If you just had one minute to moisturise, conceal, protect and 'check yourself out' go for Multi-Perfecting Skin Tint. The 'check yourself out' bit is the handy lil mirror in the lid. We're all over this multi-tasking business lol!!! M&Tx

Tom Ogden Hi AJ! There may just be a half a litre TAC coming your way. Better set your alarm for August 13th! M&Tx

Dawn Robinson My friend gave me her spare bottle of liquid gold perfecting day wear ! Absolutely beautiful xx

AJ Humph Fabulous -thanks will do xxxx

Tom Ogden Hi Sharon! "How did I discover Alpha-H?" Well...welll... I tried this lil product called "Liquid (Bladdy) Gold" and woke up the next morning knowing that I'd found my next adventure in life. Then I met this lady called Michelle Doherty (and I've been on Valium ever since). Just joking!!! Michelle made me write that lol!!!!!!!! X

Debbie Flint Fab chats all! Join me on air now till 10 for Benefit cosmetics! Fab makeup tips nezt week on webchat too with June Kelly-Bain! Ps honora earrings tonight midnight too! X

Body Blade Bruce – Monday 13th July 2015

Bruce Hymanson

13 July at 09:14

Hello Bodyblade Ohana!! You are waking up and I am going to sleep. Today, I will not be able to join you at 8pm due to a mandatory meeting I must attend. I wanted to let you know now so you could ask me questions and hopefully, I can answer throughout the early evening (your time). I know there are many interesting in becoming community trainers and coaches. I will unveil more detail in the weeks to come. This is not something we are ready to launch just yet but I will share more along the way. Also, many would like a bag for their Bodyblade. We currently have a bag but it is a multi-blade bag which will carry any of the three models and up to six blades at a time. I think what most want is a simple single sleeve bag. Although it seems a simple task, we need to find the right bag manufacturer and make sure QVC will accept the bag for sale on QVC. Otherwise, we will offer it from our Bodyblade website. Lastly, how is everyone getting along? Remember, staying focused on regular training using proper technique and getting in touch with your body is so important. Just a quick story. I was in an airport restaurant the other day. A man (about my age, maybe younger) got up from his table, tripped and fell to the floor. He was alright and got up with assistance but it occurred to me that strength, balance, quickness, core stability, coordination and posture are not simply fitness terms we use when we talk about Bodyblade, it is life sustaining functional wellness and health we are talking about. The man in the restaurant was lucky. Didn't break a bone, hit his head or require medical attention. So when it's time for a little fun, your Bodyblade workout is about so much more than simply fitness exercises!! We hear the wonderful testimonials from our group everyday and I know hundreds of you tune in each week. Let's enjoy life, be leaders and most importantly be well. Please reply to this post so I can keep track for all of you today. Have a beautiful day and I will be checking in.

Petra May Hello Bruce. 3 weeks into using my Bodyblade as is my husband Ian. Both of us are finding we are standing and sitting straighter. Arms, stomach, back, shoulders all toning up. Clothes are starting to look better. Best of all is the confidence ìt is giving us. This is the first way of exercising that is fun and that means you look forward to doing it, plus it works. This group is wonderful as well. It's like joining in a huge exercise class from the comfort of your own front room. Thank you for bringing it to us.

Jacqueline Jackson Hi Bruce glad the man who fell was ok but you're so right in what you say. My mother has a knee problem (she's 76) at the moment and having upper body strength as you get older is so important for getting around especially if you have to use crutches or a frame to get about. Fortunately she's quite strong because I've encouraged her to keep fit and she recently bought a Bodyblade too so should get even stronger. Fitness isn't just for twenty something's it's even more important the older we get.

Sandie Nutter Hi Bruce Hymanson, I am into my 2nd week bodyblading, try to do the Hampton Court circuit everyday as it fits into my routine quite nicely. However, I am really struggling with pain in the back of my calf muscle (back of leg), mainly in my right leg. Had a total knee replacement of the right knee in March, and still doing lots of physio exercise, plus on my exercise cycle 3 x daily. Any tips on how I can reduce the pain? Thanks

Theresa Britton I've had my body blade for about a year, but just couldn't get into it. It just made my arms ache. After watching you all on QVC over the last couple of weeks I got it out and started again. And I've got it! Smaller movements, feel the core and other muscles being worked, feel my cardio benefits too! My main reason for putting the note in is to say - I have a really dodgy shoulder blade. I have Physio on it monthly. About 2 hours after Physio it all goes back to how it was.. All caught up and tight. 2 weeks into using the bodyblade my shoulder is released and moving better than it has done in years! I am so amazed I have just bent my blade round the edge of my suitcase to take on holiday with me! I can't wait for my Physio to see the difference! Thank you.... I love it!

Tracie-Jane Bath hi bruce,i am still having all the great effects from using my bb.i am feeling my leg so much more as time goes on.only the occasional numbness, usually just a few seconds here and there and then back to full feeling.its amazing.used to suffer so much pain in my legs and back during my monthly cycle ,that has changed too,for which im extremely happy.i no longer spend that time not wanting to move any part of my body because it caused pain throughout the entire body.i am able to walk a little further than i used to before using the bb and stand longer without the support of my crutches.the bb truly is life changing.i wish it was available on the n.h.s as i think it would benefit so many of the long term patients.i talk to anyone who will listen to me to try to get others involved with the bb.i have got a couple of friends into it.its great to see a post for you in the day as im rarely online in the are a genius and i thank you so much for the bb. xxx

Wendy Lawrence Good morning/Night! Bruce, Very thoughtful to do this early post for us as unable to do evening, you don't forget us do you, mind you we are a little unforgettable! Please could you clarify something for a few of us, I may well be wrong but I seem to remember you stating at some time that you arranged the 6 exercies in the order they are, for a purpose, unfortunately I don't recall the reason. The reason this has come up is that some people find doing in particulat the hip and thigh that they can manage it better if doing first, before arms ache too much. Is this ok or is it best to continue with your sequence? Thank you for your time x smile emoticon

Sara Louise Hodgson Hi Bruce I am new at this BB but am getting along really well except for the hip n thigh exercise.  very frustrating but I'm working at it.

I've discovered that if you engage the muscle group you are working on BEFORE bb exercise relevant to that area then you get a much better wobble on the blade. I had a hip operation and wonder if that's hindering the hip n thigh exercise?

It's interesting bb as it shows you your strong areas and your weak areas in the body.

Any tips on hip n thigh exercise would be great

Ps my friend bought a bb from Amazon and it's shorter. Is this an ok blade?

Looking forward to seeing improvements in my posture balance and core but equally hoping to tone up. Presently concentrating on the Super 6, so struggling with the one where the blade goes behind you. I'm sure in time it lol come. Would be nice to be able to purchase mire DVD s but perhaps at a reduced cost other than 29.99 lol.

Published in Back to You

Fab updates again!

Had some lovely shares this week on Facebook group 3MCFeb, supporting our three month challenge which began when the latest Back to You shows in January ended on QVC. Plus our Monday webchats continue weekly at 8-9pm, and lovely Stacey from YBF took the chair, fresh from her latest sell out successes on QVC. She was really popular! Plus if you have hair removal issues, the Nono is back on QVC this Sunday (1st) and Selin the guest also joined in the wbchats as did Bruce - you can find them all below.

I was chuffed to go to Rik the Chiropractor's this week, the only place i occasionally weigh myself, and found I was half a stone lighter on his scales, than last summer! I rarely weigh, so knew I'd lost inches, but now I can report I've also lost pounds! Yay Rik at Balanced Chiropractic!

Plus the updates posted by 3MCFeb/Back to You members included some fabulous ones - do check them out online! (links to join in are below.)

Helen Murphy made me 'well proud' today -

"I did it I did it I DID IT!!!! I got to my lunch break at work, heated up my soup, got to point I wasn't enjoying it and actually left some PLUS I didn't then go on to eat my apple! Been drinking lots of water and realise the hunger pangs that seem to strike me at around 6pm causing me to scoff anything in sight aren't hunger pangs at all as tonight when I went to collect my daughter drank my lemon water and felt fine! Definitely hunger now though so my lovely husband is cooking some lemon lentil pasta and my mouth is watering at the thought! Oh and just to show I am NOT perfect I did take a piece of cup cake from the bakery in work (there were there for sampling) and ate it! Won't do again though cause it was far too sweet YUCK! Lesson learnt there though so a positive step showing even my sweet tooth can be tamed!"

When I asked her more, she said this -

" I have analysed why it worked and realised I was not doing anything else except sitting there thinking about what was going in my mouth, last night at dinner I did same, ate slowly and was actually the last to finish my meal. I wasn't satisfied and wanted yogurt. Got the fruit one one, had a teaspoon and put it aside as was too sweet! Went for natural with a sprinkle of Museli and for first time ever I didn't want to pick in the evening, went to bed feeling great in myself and also not thinking about food. I feel as if I have finally been set free! I was reading your book and Wayne Dyer's comment, "they'll get over it" (or similar) and realised this small comment is going to change things for me as been having a rough time at work with a new boss settling in, but hey guess what? "He'll got over it". New broom sweeping clean right now, I do a good job and get the best results on his area so why do I need to worry??? There's only one me, I have a choice in what I do, my choice now is to make the very best I can of me and I am not going to let others make me miserable. I love your book Debbie, so many many comments ring true for me, guess like a lot of people on here I thought I was the only one so so glad you were brave enough to share the best and more importantly for us all, the worst times. Large family that was me. Eat all on plate or no pudding? Same. My low point? Being afraid of eating around my Nan who I adored, I know she criticised my eating out of love but resulted in me eating a McDonalds on the way home before eating my dinner as I knew I couldn't eat as much as I usually could and certainly couldn't eat any "treats" in the evening. I was so worried about not having food I went to the other extreme and stuffed myself. If anyone else wants to share their low points and set themselves free I am certain others here would love to hear them if you can. Love you all and big hugs and thanks, especially to you Debbie xx " Helen Murphy, Facebook TTFLS group 26th Feb 2015

And the responses came in from others - great group, right?! -

Val Cady - Facebook, TTFLs group, 26th Feb 2015 - "Helen murpby I couldn't believe and still can t believe I was not liking chocolate ???? I buy cacao nibs now from h and b and nibble on a few of these : very nutritious. Can't over indulge on them x"

Debbie Sinclair Bunn (my cover girl from QVC hardback!) - Facebook, TTFLS group, 26th Feb '15 - "Well Done Helen , its a great feeling when the puzzle pieces start to drop into place, Freedom Eating not being a 'diet' for me was the answer - and I was the low fat everything including diet meals ... you should be feeling proud."

Anne Keating - Facebook, TTFLS Group, 26-2-15 - " The more I drink, the less I eat. I bought a bar of Lindt 90% cocoa yesterday and when I eat a square (one square? I used to eat a box!), whereas it used to taste bitter, it now tastes quite nice. xx"

Lesley Young - Facebook, TTFLS Group, 26-2-15 - "I did it at breakfast - I had the full English and I had my eggs and the bacon, but then I was good and didn't eat the sausage. And I didn;t eat again for another eight hours because that was it - I had had plenty. Last night I had the halibut and I just had two of the new potatoes and some veg, and felt perfectly satidfied. Didn't feel any need at all to finish everything they brought me (or hubby's chips) or have a pud. It's so nice just feeling "just right" and not just eating for the sake of it, or because everyone else is, or because I've paid for it."

I have the No No Pro and still struggle to remove the strong chin hairs. How often can I use it. I feel that if I use it too often my chin feels like it's been burned. Thanks x

Jules Fay When using the No No Pro on my chin do I glide across or up and down? Taking a long time - I do have red hair - is this a factor? Thanks x

Sue Stewart My chin hair is corse in a couple of places. I've been using the No No for over a year and in the end I pluck them. Look forward to some tips please. Also if the wire doesn't break how do you know when to replace the head please.

Loraine Elkins I have had my No No for many many years now and am never sure if you can roll it over your moles or not? could you tell me the answer please - many thanks

Jane McIlwraith I have two No No's and two questions! Firstly, the very first No No you produced is still going strong, but I am finding it difficult to get the blades for them. Can you help? Also, my newer No No has been replaced/repaired three times now - each time the little rubber band becomes loose and it doesn't glide over the skin properly. Before I buy yet another one, can you assure me that this defect has been rectified? I should be hair free by now, but by using the No No I only have to shave once a week.

Dawn Robinson Hello Selin  my question is how long should you use your No No for before you are hair free ?  x

Sue Stewart How long should you use No No each time you use it. Say you were just doing your face would you use it for 5, 10 15? Minutes at a time.

Selin Taylor Hi Everyone! I am here with Amy, we are sitting in a pub having dinner ready to reply to all of your questions!  so Fire away!

Dawn Robinson Ooowww enjoy your meal  x

Sharon Harvey Hi Selin & Amy there are some questions above to get you started

Selin Taylor June M Ward We completely understand that it might be difficult to grow your chin hairs in order to treat them. However, keep in mind that tweezing them will only encourage further growth. So if you can NoNo the hairs enough to weaken them and then use the buffer to remove the treated hair, this would lead to a great result in just a matter of months. Also remember to pass over the hairs only a couple of times to avoid irritation. Hope this helps.

Sue Stewart What are the chips like yum yum x

Selin Taylor Hi Jules Fay. Thanks for your question. The No!No! works on all hair colours, so it will work on your red hair. You can glide up or down or across...whatever feels more natural. However, perhaps try keeping the No!No! in one place and moving your head right to left and/or up and down. We will demonstrate during our TSV on Sunday. Please try and tune in! Also, feel free to call in with any further questions or concerns.  x

Amy Wall Hi Selin & Amy. Hope you're enjoying your meal. I haven't got any questions but following chat just in case I pick up any more tips. Still thrilled with my no no xx

Dawn Robinson You always look lovely what are your beauty tips x

Jules Fay Thanks Selin will bear that in mind - am loving my No No and def does not hurt!

Selin Taylor Hi Sue Stewart. Thanls for your message!! Be persistent about your usage and make sure to buff the chin hairs once you've treated them as when the hairs have been treated, they are in a weakened state, so it's easier to buff them off. Try not to pluck them. Your no!no! is super intuitive and will flash red and will show up the thermicon status icon, to say the tip has run out, it really is that easy! I'll get a pic for you to see exactly what it looks like.  x

Selin Taylor hope that helps Sue Stewart

Selin Taylor Hi Loraine Elkins - thanks for your message and taking the time to speak with us! Don't use over raised moles - but flat ones are fine to use no problem  the no!no! uses heat not light so you should have no skin issues x

Selin Taylor Hi Jane McIlwraith you can still get the classic tips from Sorry you've had trouble with the newer version - please send me a private message and i'll look into it further - you shouldn't really be having that issue!

Selin Taylor Hey Dawn Robinson! We are having portobello mushrroom salad and chips! yummy! In terms of how long you should use your No!No! until you're hair free, we want to stress that no hair removal system is permanent. However, you should see the hair grown back thinner and finer within the first 3 months of usage. The more you use the No!No!, the less you'll have to use it:) be consistent with your usage and persevere! You'll get there! x

Selin Taylor So happy you are loving it jules!  we are loving that!

Selin Taylor Amy Anzel She's loving your questions too!

Amy Wall Dry white wine please x

Selin Taylor Sue Stewart Each time you use the No!No! on the face for example, you should go over the area you want to treat a few times until you see the hairs ball up and then use your buffer pad to remove the hairs. For the face, this should take no more than a few minutes.

Sue Stewart Thanks Selin.

Dawn Robinson Thank you & Ooowww that looks a lovely bar -cheers xx

Selin Taylor We should have a no!no! Bar group

Sue Stewart Will you be selling the replacement heads and buffer's. I only use the small one's on my face is that correct or could you use the large one's.

Selin Taylor Sue Stewart You can use either size tip on the face, but we recommend the narrow tip as it helps to get around the contours of the face (ie chin, upper lip).  We will be selling replacement tips and buffers on Sunday although they're the same price everyday including the TSV.

Sue Stewart Great Selin. X

Loraine Elkins Just one more question Selin, my No No could be old enough to be the original one from QVC too, I am still using the same large head, how can that be?? It still flashes with the blue light so I am assuming it is working, seems to be!!

Amy Wall Great news about replacement tips and buffers on Sunday. Will be tuned in x

Jules Fay No No Bar Group - sounds fun!

Selin Taylor Can't wait for Sunday Amy! Call or tweet us if you can

Selin Taylor Loraine Elkins How long have you had your No!No!? It is surprising that the Thermicon tip hasn't been used up and thus needs replacing after an extended period of time. How often are you using it?

Amy Wall Will do if I don't bottle it xx

Selin Taylor We'd love to hear from all of you on Sunday, so please call in:) We'll be gentle! x

Sue Stewart Yes should you use it once a week twice more and can I use my normal moisturiser after. I didn't like the cream that came with the No No it wasn't very good for my skin.

Selin Taylor You can use it many times per week. We recommend 2-3 times/ week. When you see the hair grow back and poke out of the skin, that's when it's time to No!No! again. Sorry you didn't like the cream that came with the No!No!. Feel free to use any other cream to replenish the moisture after your treatment.

Selin Taylor We are still here if there's anything else!

Amy Wall Just giving you time to fetch refills haha !!!!!!!

Sue Stewart Are you both having a pudding and if so what

Amy Anzel No sadly. We're trying to do the no sugar thing a la @debbieflint. x

Amy Wall Well done both x

Sue Stewart Amy Anzel I was going to # jealous if you were. Just watching Debbie Flint talking about her big wrist to the lovely Simon from Butler and Wilson. Love that you're up for the challenge x will be with you Sunday xx hugs

Selin Taylor No sugar has been tough but get past 2 weeks and if you try something a little sugary it tastes sooo sugary and puts you off! 5 weeks in and have lost half a stone :))

Amy Wall Well done you x

Selin Taylor I looked so fat on screen it spurred me on! That was my "moment" did anyone else have a "moment"? X x x wishing you all good luck with any healthy eating plans

Tova Borgnine Tracie Wright and Helen Murphy, With the Diamonique by TOVA jewellery shows we do a Deco Cufflink (Item 692095) that we sell on QVC. I am not sure if it is currently available but we have done them several times now as this replication of Ernie's favourite cufflinks are always hugely popular.

Tracie Wright thanks you so much for your reply i will check it out

Tova Borgnine Dear Helen, I would highly recommend trying TOVA Signature as it is a clean, fresh, soft yet enticing and mysteriously captivating scent which is unlike any you have ever smelled. By far my most beloved scent that truly will become your Signature.

Helen Murphy Just found the cufflinks which are beautiful

Jackie Springett I agree I love Tova Signature and you feel special wearing it and people ask what you are wearing xx

Tova Borgnine And Helen the Duo is an excellent place to start with my fragrances...Signature is captivating and Nights is the naughty sister scent! Nights is floral with a bit of juiciness and playfulness from the addition of dewy greens, lively florals (Like peonies which are my favourite!) with an effervescent feeling of champagne tickling your nose.

Sharon Harvey I love, love, love reminds me of carefree holidays..... Aahhhhhhh!

Helen Murphy I love peonies too. Have some in my garden which I planted when my daughter was born. Her godmother bought her a copper apricot rose called Grace which is my daughter's name. Thank you for that recommendation, I love having something different too from everyone else.

Tova Borgnine Andrea Nicole Smart, Hello dear today is just the live Facebook chat I will be on air at QVCUK this Friday in the 9 pm hour, then on Saturday with TOVA Beauty throughout the day then on Sunday (Pre-Academy Awards I will be on for several shows of Diamonique by TOVA Jewellery. Hope you can join us or set the DVR!

Janie Smith Tova do you know if the elephant bracelet will return? I want to get it for my daughter to go with her ring and pendant. Sharon Harvey have to agree Turquoise is scrumptious xxxxxx

Debbie Flint Hello our lovely friend Tova! Hope you're enjoying the chat and looking forward to another return across the pond! Excited for your return! Have a great web chat girls! 20 mins left! xx

Sharon Harvey Isn’t it just

Amanda Marie Jayne Thomas Hello tova, I hope all is well. Will you be bringing out any new perfumes and if so what will they be like? X

Tova Borgnine Hi Janie, The Elephant pieces are some of my favorite as well, I know currently the ring and pendant are available. We will certainly look into maybe bringing back the bracelet.

Helen Murphy It is such a lovely opportunity having these chats thanks for setting them up

Oh thank you Debbie, looking forwarding to making my way to London! I always enjoy these chats and opportunities when I may speak with all of you, regardless of where in the world we all are- amazing that we have this technology and ability!

Tova Borgnine Dear Amanda, We are working on many new products for the coming year, I have not made final decisions on which items will be made as of yet so I don't want to say to much quite yet!

Janie Smith Thank you. My daughter could only afford the ring and necklace at the time. I'd live to treat her she's amazing x

Helen Murphy Do you ever have time to relax? You are such a busy lady!

Lindsey Sweet Do you have time for any hobbies Tova? X

Tova Borgnine Relax? What is that word! Like many of us these days most days are quite active for me as between taking care of business and working on product developments, appearing on the different QVC shows in multiple countries etc...I do find time to spend relaxing and de-stressing. I work out regularly with my trainer which I find really takes away much of the stress from busy days.

Sue Stewart Looking forward to seeing the shows.

Alison Smith Hi Tova, do you think you will ever bring back your bar of soaps. I bought the signature ones a long time ago and loved them. Always thought of you when I used them! Xx

Jackie Springett I will also be watching the shows cannot wait xx

Tova Borgnine Hi Lindsey, One of my favorite hobbies is to collect fragrance bottles. I have done this much of my life as I always found the beauty, craftmanship and artful packaging intriguing.

Amanda Lindberg Please don't ever stop making Signature Tova.. You are a very glamourous lady. Thank you for taking the time to talk to us. X

Debbie Flint The cactine mask was one of my original faves too from Tova's early skin care launch with us many years ago! x

Debbie Flint Hi all just a quick reminder anyone who doesnt know about it, do come join us on the Three month challenge - it starts today - well being, toning and weight loss, read the pinned post on for more info. Tonight's new blog on my w...See More

Tova Borgnine I love Signature as much as the women who wear it regularly, I would be lost without it as it is always around, so know that I will always make Signature!

Jackie Springett Yes remember that mask used it myself that seems ages ago x

Tova Borgnine To all here is a link to my blog posting today on QVC,

Helen Murphy Debbie Flint I am going to use Tova's lovely products as my incentives on my three month challenge?

Debbie Flint Tova what routine does your trainer give you? it may inspire the ladies to hear what you do to keep trim! x

Tova Borgnine This weekend I will be celebrating not only being on air in the UK but the pre-celebration leading up to the Oscar's! I will be sharing throughout the weekend some of my favorite Oscar moments with Ernie while we attended. You'll have to stay tuned this weekend but one even includes a naked man.....

Helen Murphy Loving those beautiful bottles.

Hi there! Such amazing feedback keeps coming through from the Till the Fat Lady Slims facebook group and such a fabulous sharing community is the Back to You QVC facebook group. Do come join us, (links are below) and take part in the fun. This week's Monday 8-9pm webchat on B2U was with lovely Samantha, creator of Soapsmith's. Now, their bath products are soooo luxurious that I had one of the most deluxe baths I can remember, in their Bloomsbury Bath Soak. How they make the aromas so powerful I do not know, all I know is that the whole of upstairs is filled with fragrance, when I use it in the bath, and the smell lasts for hours too. It was so lovely I stayed in there until I 'pruned!'

I was so impressed I wrote about it in my latest QVC blog (see blog tab above or go here.

And lovely Sam's chat was a fun-packed and fast one, see bottom of this blog for more info.

Me in 2010 That was me above, having kept off my weight for much of the 2000's I found myself having to eat chocs and sweet stuff as part of a diet plan on which i lost a stone quite quickly like you usuallly do, but then found it was driving me up the wall 'cos if I am told I can't have it, then I want it even more. So the research into healthier eating began and the embryo of TTFLS 2.0 was created. See below for more of that story and the link to videos that can help make you want to eat healthier too. Then read about the new Three Month Challenge - maybe you can transform too. This is me September 2014. And of course, as I recommend, exercise like with Bodyblade helps too...

Bruce Bodylade is Back in town this week too! He's on Tues 9th (10am and 5pm) then midnight with me, then Wed 10th two more shows, midday and 8pm, again with me - yay! I have to say his device is making a huge difference to a massive number of people and his Bodyblade QVC Facebook group now has over 800 members. Well done Bruce! His webchat was short but sweet, go join facebook group to read it - he links up most weeks, usually on a Monday around 8-9pm to tie in with our B2U webchat, and helps reply to queries. He's going to record some more short Youtube clips for the bodybladers to use to make things clearer and more varied - who knows, maybe even a new Supersix somewhere cool with me whilst he's here!

Three Month Challenge - just a week away

Well it's that time of year again, when we're 'so over' our new year's resolutions and summer seems a long way away. Well next week, come join our new Three Month Challenge, where everyone spurs each other on, to eat well (using my Freedom Eating system, via the Till the Fat Lady Slims 2.0 book, on amazon or on QVC) and to live healthy and to exercise. There will be a Six Step Plan to get participants into the swing of things, or you will be able to follow whatever routine you prefer, but the important thing is to remain in the spirit of a supportive environment and try to check in at least once a week on a special page I'll be setting up shortly. You'll be able to 'like' the page as of Valentine's Day, and the Three Month Challenge will begin on Monday 16th! More info here.

Other News

- But I don't know WHY I'm not losing weight... we hear this all the time. There must be a reason, right? Well if you're eating 'free' fruits, it could be sabotaging your whole effort, since too much fruit will add lots of fat back to your body because of the way the liver processes sugar. Watch 'sugar the bitter truth' - the biochemistry section at about 45 mins in, and you will begin to see how all calories are NOt equal, and that the body definitely does not need added sugar. click here and go to 45 minutes in. Stick with it, if you can, he talks through it in a simple way - I watched it four times to fully understand and realise why my liver felt hard and uncomfortable in my body. Then I gave up sugar completely and found I just didn't want it any more. You may too - give it a chance and don't forget my whole blog about aids to cutting back sugar. (link above). And I looked like I wasn't healthy too - see  top pic above. Sad but true - and it was the sugar addiction info which needed to be added to the whole TTFLS Freedom Eating system to bring it completely up to date and get myself back on track once more. When you watch the bio-chemistry regarding how eating fructose means you are creating fat, you may stop thinking it's ok to eat 'free fruit' and if you're not losing weight and you're eating fruit regularly maybe it's too much. Maybe - you work it out. But at least educate yourself. (it's at around 1:03'30" in.) And if you think you can exercise your way out of it, unless you're a super active athlete, the truth may be at 1:11' (one hour eleven mins in).

The short version - sugar is worse than fat - click here

Do come back next week when you'll see all the info about the new Three Month Challenge! Whoop! And Tova is our Monday webchat on 16th Feb!

best wishes

Webchat Monday 9th February 2015 - Samantha Jameson

Hi Samantha.....what was your inspiration for this stunning brand x

Samantha Jameson Hi I was really lead by scents, I enjoyed making soap and decided to start professionally, I spent a long time trialing and testing. I live in London so that formed the basis really  x

Jan Pickett Will QVC be getting stock in soon ....mines still on waitlist ,can`t wait to try it x

Samantha Jameson Hi yes, it is due in end of Feb with delivery first week in March  x

Jan Pickett Thank you x

Debbie Rich When's your next show and will you be giving us a wider range of products? I LOVE everything I've tried and can't wait to try some more!  x

Helen Flook Samantha, I have to say I've fallen in love with the body butters, the Lavender Hill one lasted about two weeks! I found it so easy to nod off at bedtime after applying this! Camden Town is also another firm favourite and I suspect my tubs will probably take a trip to Norfolk aftr my mums visit next week!

Cath Purple Hi Samantha, First I want to say that I LOVE your products! I am particularly in love with the body butters and Brick Lane is my favourite! I bought some from your website. Just love the scents and they linger for so long! You need to use so little...See More

Angie Kyriacou I just wanted to say how much I adore your products and can't wait until QVC stock more of your brand! I will definitely be buying more, even my husband loves your range! Xx

Helen Murphy Would love some shower products as I never lie in a bath so haven't bought your kit from QVC yet. Please please bring a kit without bath goodies soon, even just soaps would be fab!!!

Nina Chapman I have only had tasters of the body butters and they are divine. Mine's on wait list .Are there more products than just what qvc group has been talking about?

Samantha Jameson Hi the next show is due to air March 27th at 9pm for the Friday night beauty show x

Samantha Jameson Thanks for the lovely comments about the body butter, it is one of the best sellers we have!

Samantha Jameson With shower product we do not have a wide range but Brick Lane and Bloomsbury will be available in Body Lotion and Body Wash within the next 3 months

Samantha Jameson I am meeting with QVC early March to discuss more products to air

Samantha Jameson I think they really like packages so you can try a bit of everything

Samantha Jameson being a new company, they want to add product they think you will like slowly and surely! I met Debbie and I was blown away with just how pretty and slim she is! She was really friendly just such a kind person!

Sharon Harvey You will have nothing to chat about at 8pm haha x

Samantha Jameson Haha! True Sharon, I was just answering some of the questions above. I can also talk about the Sugar Buff which is due to testing in the next few weeks :-0 x

Samantha Jameson I will come back at 8pm!

Sharon Harvey oooooooooh!!!! leaving us with a teaser.... i love it!! x

Lindsey Sweet Hi Samantha, will there be a TSV coming up soon ?

Sue Stewart Would love some shower products. Will you be looking at this. Need to know about your Sugar Buff x

Samantha Jameson Hi there isnt a TSV planned because we are new and small but if things go well, then there will be a TSV  X

Samantha Jameson We have body wash in Lavender Hill and Camden Town so far, Brick Lane and Bloomsbury are being produced with a launch within the next 3 months max x

Samantha Jameson The Sugar Buff is like a body scrub but when the water hits, it turns into a light lotion which washes off and leaves your skin soft.

Samantha Jameson The scents in Sugar buff are Lavender Hill, Bloomsbury, Marble Arch and Camden Town

Sharon Harvey Brilliant xx

Lindsey Sweet Thanks for answering my question Samantha x

Samantha Jameson The reason I am here is due to the competition QVC ran late last year, it was the find a beauty brand competition.

Samantha Jameson We were at the Beauty Bash

Dawn Robinson Hello Samantha :)) x I love love the sound of the lavender soap  Will you be selling your soaps separately ? Xxx

Samantha Jameson Thanks!! Yes we will be selling them separately on QVC but part of a range, QVC tends to like sets so they can be layered

Jill Dowding-Walker Hi Sam! I am loving the Lavender Hill Body Wash and Body Butter! So relaxing and both leave the skin silky soft. Trying to type while hubby is massaging me with Brick Lane Body Butter and he said, 'this smells nice'!!!

Dawn Robinson Fabulous

You know when you have one of those little 'squeeeeee' moments, when something happens that simply makes your day?

Well I had one on Saturday - at Lou Lou's Vintage Fair in Guildford Cathedral. I went along with daughter Lauren and niece Becky and had a right old mooch around, listening to the music etc (video clip and more info is on my QVC blog this week, see tab at top for when it updates.)

As we were going round there was a fabulous vintage dress stall, called 'Frilly Chantilly' and this dress screamed 'oh baby that's what I like!' So I took a 14, and as I went into the little changing pop up cubicle, the guy, Martin, said 'I think you'll be a 12.' Well! First time that's happened in ages. I wasn't convinced and put the 14 on - it was ok. Then he said, it's stretchy, try the 12 on too. So I did - and it was soooo slimming! And soooo feminine! I swear I was alive in the 1950's - I have such an affinity to that era!

Anyway, along with the petticoats, they were duly put in a pretty paper carrier bag and accompanied me home. They now sit hanging up at top of my stairs in pride of place - and the only question is - where do I wear it to? Haha! I obviously need some sort of fancy dance or vintage get together.

I wonder if they do 50's singles events for over 50's...! lol

Trim and Tone 3 month Supersix Challenge began on Monday this week too - me and Bruce Bodyblade are orchestrating a group effort to get trimmer for xmas, using Freedom Eating from my Till the Fat Lady Slims 2.0 book (out now in paperback as well as ebook on Amazon.) and also a few minutes a day on his ingenious exercise device, the Bodyblade. It's going well so far with many people committing to do it - would you like to find out more? Go here.

Finally - don't forget the freebie eBook of spooky Hallowe'en stories goes on promotion from 28th - more info here.

Hope you're well! Some other info about what's going on chez Flint is below, for those who are interested. and if you have any other suggestions as to where I can wear my dress - let me know! lol! You can reply to this email - it goes to me not a spambot!

Have a great week!

“Hi everyone thank you for letting me join. I wanted to post my story so far. I wanted to thank Debbie Flint for being such an inspiration I have been freedom eating, walking and of course using the Bodyblade for just over a month now and I have lost weight and just feel healthier. Today I was able to get into a pair of jeans I haven't been able to fit in for over 2 years! The buzz that has given me is amazing definitely motivated to carry on only another 1 and half stones to go. I have had a rough year but this is also working wonders for my confidence. I am working towards being able to look in the mirror and like what's looking back at me as I haven't done that in over 15 years. Xx”

PATRICK HOY Monday 20th 8-9pm Quacker Fashions

Back to you members please welcome our super fabulous, super friendly guest Patrick Hoy - Quacker Factory!

Q -
Hi Patrick my Mum loves you and your range. How do you keep so happy?

A - Thank you Georgina - I'm so glad to hear that you're mother is a fan of Quacker Factory!!!!! My own mother says I came out of the womb laughing - I was definitely a happy baby - and that's stayed with me since then!!

Q - Hi Patrick welcome to the UK. I have a few quacker tops and they wash and wear so well. They look as good today as the day I purchased them. I have also had jeans which have been a great fit. Love to watch you on the Q. How did you get involved with Quacker. X
Just liked your page
When can we have the little quacker shirts for our Christmas Tree. .... Please

A - Hello Sue Stewart - that really makes me happy that your tops have been easy to care for. Almost everything we make is either hand washable or able to be put in the machine on a gentle cycle. We have Quackers in the States who still have original pieces of theirs that they bought on our first ever show on Feb 4, 1995!!!Thank you Sue Stewart - I'll be having those ornament sweaters in my show this Tuesday at 14:00! Aren't they ADORABLE?!!?!? Patrick Hoy
Sue Stewart - the sweater ornaments that I'll be showing on Wednesday are item number
Not only are they great on a Christmas tree - but you can use them to as ribbon ties on special gift packages. Sue Stewart - I got involved with this wonderful brand of Quacker Factory back in 2006. Jeanne Bice, who started the brand and was actually discovered by QVC USA in 1995 used to do cruises every two years when she was alive - and boy, where they FUN, FUN, FUN!!! My best friend in the States was a good friend of Jeanne's and he put the cruises together for her. In 2006 he called me and asked me if I would go on the cruise and help him since there were over 1,000 QVC viewers going on the cruise. It was then that I met Jeanne Bice - and we became great friends - and she told me she wanted me to work with her and the brand - and voila - here I am!!!

Q - Hello Patrick x I really would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all the hard work you do. Your such a loving and jolly person  My question would be you always look very well groomed what are your top Beauty products ? Xx

A - Awe, thank you Dawn Robinson - that is SO kind of you to say!!!! Okay, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Alpha H Micro Cleanse - it's my go-to exfoliante - I use it 3 times religiously a week. I also use Dr. Perricone face wash daily. And I have American Irish skin - so that means I use LOTS of sun protection!!!!  I forgot to tell you - I am a BIG fan of Wen hair products - I've been using it exclusively for over a year now - and I LOVE it!!!!!!! My hair has never been healthier since I started using it. I know it's a little more expensive - but wow - the results are amazing - so I'm now a loyal customer to the Wen brand. I even got to meet Chaz a few times at QVC USA - and his BEAUTIFUL dogs - what a super nice and sweet and REAL guy he is!

Q - Hi Patrick. Hope you are OK! Would love to buy some jeans with embellishment at the bottom but as they are too long for me I can't shorten them. Any chance of getting some in approx a 28" length. XXX

A - Glenys Phillips - I am actually working on that issue with our wonderful Buying team here at QVC UK. We make a 'short' length in our Dream Jeannes in the States - and I'm working on getting some of them over here for all of you. So watch this space! One suggestion is to try the boot cuts - because you can wear them with heels or some nice 'chunky' boots - that's what my mother does. She's a big fan of all our Dream Jeannes! xxx

Q - What do you like to do to relax between your very busy lifestyle x

A - Dawn Robinson - when I'm not on air in the US or Italy or here - I LOVE travelling!!!!! I particularly love to go on cruises - they really are the easiest kind of vacation to take in my opinion. I also LOVE going to the theatre - and we're so blessed to have some great shows here in London. I also enjoy cooking - and I LOVE being with good friends

Q - Dianne Murphy
Hello Patrick, where do all the inspirations for the range come from?

A - Dianne Murphy - I work with the most AMAZING and talented Design Team you could ever want to work with. The head of the team is Susan and she has worked with Jeanne since the very beginning. She and her team are incredibly gifted - and so darn creative. I think the main thing they are inspired by is HAPPINESS!!! Seriously! The label on all of our clothes says 'Wear it with a smile' - and that's what inspires Susan and her team every day. Their goal is to design 'Happy Clothes' that when you put them on you not long look great - but you FEEL great as well! How great a job do they have to get to make happy clothes every single day?!?!?

Q - Hello Patrick...I adore the Quacker denim-look leggings that you had in the black and the indigo and which had different crystal wave patterns and crystals at the bottom of the legs going upwards - I have worn and washed them a hundred times and they are still like new... is there any chance of getting these again in different colours and also just plain at the bottom? Thank you!x

A - Sharon Salmon - you've just made me smile - I'm SO glad that you have washed and washed your Dream Jeannes and they are STILL looking Quack-Tabulous!!!  You know I always say that on air - so it's great to hear you confirm that. They really are our 'hero' product - and I tell viewers that if you have never tried the DreamJeannes, you really should. Jeanne Bice, who started Quacker Factory was a size 3XL - so she REALLY understood how to design clothes for REAL women with REAL bodies with beautiful curves and shapes - so when she discovered the DreamJeanne fabric, it really took the market and QVC by storm!! They are like chips - once you have one, you can't stop!!!!  Stay tuned this week - I have some NEW moderated boot cut DreamJeannes that we've called the Denim & Diamond collection - they have got some wonderful bling!!!! I'll have them on this week in my Mini-Series!

Q - I often see you in photos with your beautiful parents, Do they ever give you some suggestions on what they would also like to see in quacker range xx

A - Patrick Hoy
Dawn Robinson - thank you - I'm sooooo very close to my parents - I absolutely adore them - they are wonderful. I'll be honest with you - my mother had never watched QVC or had shopped on QVC until I started presenting on it - and now she can't stop watching - my father always says 'What did you do to my wife?!?!?' She LOVES the DreamJeannes - and that was her first ever QVC AND Quacker purchase - and she is always wanting us to design more and more styles!!!!  Here's a picture of her I took this last month - I had her do some modelling with us for a new feature I'm rolling out in the States in a week. Can you believe that she is 74 years young?!?!? She's wearing one of my favourite Quacker tops - that I'll be bringing back here to the UK this Autumn and Winter.

Q - Hi Patrick - I love following your travels on FB .. I'm sure you never sit still, but it's lovely to see your smiling face everywhere!

A - Thank you Susan Farrell - I really do love travelling - which is probably a great thing since I do so much of it for QVC

Q - Patrick how many "Quacker" whistles do you own? Quack Quack..... i bet your suitcase is full of them~! We love them!!!

A - Ha - it is Sharon Harvey!!!!! I actually ALWAYS carry one with me because I get stopped on the street or the Tube or in airports by people who recognise me - and they always ask for a Quacker Whistle - so I have one with me at all times!

Q - Hi Patrick, looking forward to the Christmas items you will be bringing. Love them and thanks

A - Thank you Susan Dyer - I'm VERY excited about this weeks mini-series - because Wednesday is devoted to Christmas and holiday items - so get ready for some FUN items!!!! I'm going to be wearing a Christmas jumper as well!!!!  And tomorrow I've got the most adorable new Doggie Christmas cardigan that I just know that every dog lover is going to LOVE!!!

Q - Oh how fantastic! It wouldn't be Christmas without Quacker Factory

A - I agree Sharon! Jeanne used to LOVE doing Christmas jumpers - and that's what we were really known for in the USA when we first started. In fact, my aunt first was introduced to Quacker Factory because she was looking for a fun Christmas jumper to wear to a party - and someone told her to turn on QVC and watch Quacker Factory. She bought a sweater over 15 years ago - and she's been Quacking ever since!!

Q - What is a "Qvc day in the life of Patrick Hoy like? "

A - That's a GREAT question Sharon! I always get to the studios at least 2 1/2 hours before my show - I like to have plenty of time. When I get there, the first thing I do is put on my makeup (Bare Essentials matte finish medium!) and then I make sure my clothes are ironed and looking sharp. I then go to the area that they have our items all hanging and I go through everything with a fine tooth comb to make sure it's all looking fantastic. I then meet with the Presenter and make sure they are comfortable with everything in the hour. I've worked with almost all of them now - so we really all know each other very well. I LOVE the Presenters at QVC - and I'm not just saying that - they really are incredible people - and I don't know HOW they keep everything straight considering how many different brands and products they have to learn - I have a lot of respect for them. And yes, yes, yes - they really ARE as nice as they are on air!!!

Q - Susan Dyer
Thanks Patrick for your answer. I get very HOT all year around, so please have you any cotton Christmas t-shirts with short sleeves or 3/4 sleeves. I just can't wear Christmas jumpers or jumpers of any sort, bug can do cardigans, with a t-shirt underneath, so can take cardigan off if I get too hot. Sorry, my body just has not got a working thermostat - been like it since I was aged 11 years old, but love to fun dress up with Christmas things, but just can't do jumpers or hot fabrics. Thanks x

A - GREAT point Susan Dyer - and guess what?!?!? This week I have a new jacket and SHORT Sleeve shirt to go with it!!!!! I think it's on Wednesday or Thursday - so be on the lookout. I think the option our Buyer chose over here is with adorable kittiesPlus Susan Dyer - MOST of our items are 3/4 sleeves - Jeanne Bice used to say that she got too hot as well in long sleeves - but she wanted to make sure she covered up her 'bingo wings' - so that's why she LOVED designing tops with 3/4 sleeves. She really was a delight - and soooo funny! You would have LOVED watching her on QVC!!!

Thank you ! I really DO love what I do - I think it's the best 'job' in the world. Who wouldn't love to wake up every morning and know that you're main purpose was to ensure that others around you are happy?!??! At Quacker, we believe that EVERY woman wants to sparkle and shine - that's why we make sure to put a little bit of sparkle and shine in each of our items. We not only want to ensure you LOOK great when you get dressed - but that you FEEL great as well!
Patrick Hoy
Quack, Quack Everyone - and thank you all SO much!!!!!!!!!!!
The Quacker visit is on QVC over the next few days – please check the TV guide on the home page!

BACK TO YOU WEBCHAT - Monday 20th 6-7pm

Bruce Bodyblade and Debbie Flint, launching the 3 month Trim and Tone Challenge

Incorporating - the Monday essay - Bruce on Stretching.

I want to invite you to join us on a new 'TRIM AND TONE SUPERSIX THREE MONTH CHALLENGE'
- a combination of the fundamental basic principles from Bodyblade combined with my Till the Fat Lady Slims 2.0 - the 'When' Diet book’s Freedom Eating principles (TTFLS) which I have also made into a Supersix.

I have got lots of names of people already who wanted to join in and have kindly emailed me their info to my email address - I will post it all again below.

Basically everyone who wants to register an interest, I’d love to know about you - tell me about yourself, your history re dieting and weight loss, describe yourself (weight, age, height, issues, health, family, work situation) - anything relevant to affecting your weight loss journey

So write it out and email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Plus please take a before picture as the idea is that in three months - mid January, when Bruce is back over for his next Bodyblade visit, and the new January series of Back to You has begun on QVC, we will have lots of people who have seriously paid attention to their health for the last three months and who are able to shout from the rooftops about it!

Freedom Eating The thing is, with freedom eating as described in TTFLS, it can combine with any traditional 'dieting' plan – ANY!

And it can help you make it through Xmas, food-wise, in a way you've never done before. Especially if you usually panic and eat for England, put on loads of weight over yuletide and hate yourself afterwards. If anyone's reading this who knows what I mean, do join in! Those who have been using my Freedom Eating method from either TTFLS book - 1 or 2 - talk about escaping food prison. Therefore if you can straddle Xmas with this three month challenge, you may find it changes everything.

So - that's the 'diet' part - the 'trim' part - Bruce is going to explain for newcomers, why the 'tone' part works so well with the Bodyblade in order to get into the habit of doing SOMETHING exercise-wise, every day. I would call it creating 'permahabits.'

PERMAHABITS are permanent habits - ones that you do for the rest of your life, ones that work for you and serve you well, rather than the bad habits that we all do when we're not successfully losing weight, and hating ourselves and life in general! We'‪ve all been there! lol!

So if you want to take part, please say so here, and email me on This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Tomorrow I will set you up on the Facebook page (not the group, the PAGE ) called Till the Fat Lady Slims - a page is something anyone can see, anyone can join, and can act as a base for this challenge.
Bruce and I will put inspirational info on there regularly and we expect regular updates and feedback from those taking part who are having great results. Is that a deal?!

The page is here -!/pages/Till-the-Fat-Lady-Slims-20-the-When-diet/848505488506787

All you need to do is to 'like' the page then you'll see the updates come up, and you'll find them amongst your 'pages' on your Facebook account or app

So far, as listed on the TTFLS page above, the following people have emailed me - (there are others to be added by tomorrow who emailed more recently) - Chris calvert, Heidi Moss (pic), christine Russell (pic), Sue Stewart (pic), kirsty chalmers , jane slade (pic), marion rose, lorna deans (pic), tracy christer (pic), sue pegg (pic), theresa wheldon (pic), lorna (pic), janette mitchell (?), jayne barron-hill and many more I have yet to add. Do confirm if you are listed that you're ready and willing and able and are game to take part!!!

Unless you choose to post them, any personal details you email me will not need to be shared, just your willingness to commit to the three month challenge and your determination to succeed this time, where nothing else has worked?

So here are the basic principles of Freedom eating - I call them, the supersix¬!

1.wait till you're hungry enough - 6 on the hunger scale

2. listen to your body and be accurate in what you choose - this is a biggie and there are tons of tips on how to do it properly in the book. NB if you really feel like ginger cake and a cup of tea, instead of lunch, that's fine, but just do it within these principles. Most of the time once a food is no longer 'treasure' because anything is possible, you stop craving it, and choose healthier options and 'real food' but note the rest of the principles. below to see why it works FULL attention to your food - do nothing else whilst eating

4. the most important of all - stop when you're SATISFIED not when you're full or can't breathe anymore. Save the rest for later, but don't shove it in your body where it will be wasted as your body doesn’t need any more - full info about how to recognise this is in the book.

5. aim for the 'bliss' point - the amazing feeling of happiness that keeps you addicted to freedom eating - what this is and how to know is in the book

6 - and finally the lynchpin to why this works with anyone who has to avoid certain foods, and how this works to help you give up a sugar addiction and why this works long term - pay attention to the way your body feels afterwards.

You can read more in the free sample of TTFLS 2 - which you can get in eBook or paperback in kindle - here -

I'd like anyone taking part in the three month challenge to please agree to try to get used to these new habits, gradually adjusting and using what works for you, within the helpful guidelines given in the book. So that by mid january, they've become ‘permahabits’ and you are eating in a whole new way. If some of our girls' experiences are anything to go by, you'll have become a whole new person around food - breaking free from a lifetime's food prison is how some describe it. How satisfying.

So that's the launch of the 'TTFLS 2' part of the 'trim' challenge - u will hear from Bruce shortly about how to do the Bodyblade part. Even one minute a day is fine to begin with. Even ten seconds on each of the six is fine. And if you haven't got a Bodyblade, until you can order one (they're on waitlist) it's just a matter of doing some sort of regular exercise that will tone your body each day, so get thinking!

PLUS - tonight Bruce will explain on here the importance of stretching every day too.

He's also going to be logging on once a week to chart your progress on the 'Bodyblade QVC' Facebook group too - so that anyone who wants to discuss any queries or questions, he will pop on to that group at various times to reply.

Finally, once you're au fait with Freedom Eating, you can come join our closed group called 'till the fat lady slims' (not 'TTFLS' -that takes you to a foreign site for some reason!) But join it only once you've got the book and have begun using the principles - as that's where everyone shares the amazing successes they've been having with freedom eating.

BRUCE – THE MONDAY ESSAY & transcript of Q & A.

Hello Bodyblade Ohana (that’s family in Hawaiian). Happy to join you this evening. Here is just a little something to get you thinking about flexibility, stretching and the importance of both!! Strength, wellness, flexibility, nutrition and cardiovascular health are all part of the formula for a long and happy life. Warm up, cool down and stretching are equally important and essential for the health of your joints ligaments and muscles. It is more important to warm up before exercise which doesn't mean stretching for 15 minutes. Warm up means getting the blood flowing, the joints moving and the brain and muscles communicating. The best time to stretch is either after your workout or at a separate time set aside for just stretching. The proper way to stretch is slowly and within your comfort zone. The goal is to lengthen and mobilize the joints in the body. Never do ballistic bouncing types of stretching but rather slow deliberate stretching.

Combine breathing patterns with different stretching exercises. For example, extension stretching will require breathing in. An example of that would be to open your rib cage, extend your arms overhead and stretch the chest, abdominals, ribs and shoulders. Flexing or stretching the extensor muscles do best while exhaling. Stretching hamstrings is an exhaling stretch (because you flex your body) while stretching the quads does nicely when you inhale. There is a relaxing, rhythmic pace to stretching when you incorporate the proper breathing patterns.

Remember, blood flow brings oxygen and nutrition to the tissue like a train bringing supplies and picks up waste products to transport away from the tissue. There are many books and videos about stretching for Yoga, sports, performance, shoulders, legs, rehab and so much more. I like the Stretching books by Bob Anderson because they are designed for people to be successful. From beginner to expert, this is a great resource guide to stretching. Here is a link to see what the book looks like.

Susan Farrell
It's a fantastic challenge Debbie - I am using my Bodyblade daily for at least 3 minutes; but I'd like to follow your freedom eating from here, and not officially join, as I've failed so many times with dieting etc., that I'm fearful of making it all official and then letting myself down again. Hate to sound defeatist, and I will give you my results if I'm successful within the 3 months. I have to do this - I have been given stern warnings from my doctor/consultant

Debbie Flint
Susan - you have to do what is right for you hon – don’t be scared of failure - you're the sort of person for whom freedom eating was created, believe me! lol x

Debbie Flint
Fab post Bruce Hymanson - lots of wise words

Bruce Hymanson
You know I love talking about Bodyblade and making a difference in people's lives!

Bruce Hymanson
There is so much information about stretching, I will be happy to answer any questions about anything but this is a good reference guide for all.

Debbie Flint
Some amazing comments on the Bodyblade QVC group now Bruce - have you been reading some of them? Like this one from Sarah P – “OMG>>>> just done my daily super six and Wow.....I did a full minute on each! I cant believe it. Its four weeks now since I started. I am an over weight unfit 48 year. If I can do it, anyone can. What a fantastic but of equipment. I love my body blade”

From me - I absolutely love my bodyblade - it's making such an amazing difference to my shoulders, arms, stomach, lower back, hips, thighs, abdomen
It's lovely being stronger too - lifting things more easily, pushing open heavy doors without feeling my weak shoulder pulling.

Sarah Elizabeth
Bruce Hymanson - just a quick question as I find it difficult doing no.6 of super 6 so I do it one handed Left and Right. Is this still ok as it's still mega hard? x

Bruce Hymanson
Hi Sarah, the key to getting the Hip & Thigh Sculptor is to move the blade side to side quickly and only one inch or so. You don't have to be mega strong to do this. It is all about the coordination. You can clap your hands quickly, right? Move the blade quickly to match the rhythm. Doing with one hand is OK to. The key is to keep trying and do the other positions too.

Bruce Hymanson
Most people talk about how the strengthening with Bodyblade helps them functionally improve. Comments like, I can sit straighter for longer periods of time without fatigue. I can lift and move heavier packages more easily than before. The overall effect is moving better, feeling better, looking better and performing better each and every day. Don't forget, some of the best comments is how much people enjoy the way they look in the mirror!!

Nicky Crane
Hi Bruce can I just clarify we need to warm up raise our heart rates before using body blade and stretch afterwards. Thank you

Bruce Hymanson
Hi Nicky. In any exercise program, warm up is essential for getting the body ready for activity. Gentle mobility, flexing and extending the joints in your four extremities and trunk. Increasing blood flow throughout the body etc. I prefer a stretching program after the workout when your muscles are warm. Light stretching before exercise is good and different from time set aside for strictly stretching. Hope that answers.

Joanne Kershaw
Hi Bruce should we be aiming to do the Bodyblade everyday.

Bruce Hymanson
Hi Joanne, You can do Bodyblade 3-4 days a week or you can train every day. Try to do the 6 minute workout when you exercise. You can assume each position and start and stop as needed through the course of one minute. So, you might do 10 seconds. Fine, stay in the position, start and stop but keep trying for the full minute, then, on to the next. Before long, you will see your endurance improve and find yourself lasting longer during each exercise!!

Debbie Flint
Bodyblade helped me get in size 12! '50's fair on saturday - vintage style dress! Whoop! Bye for now all x

Bruce Hymanson
Debbie, you look fantastic in that dress! And, since I saw you a couple of weeks ago, you are looking very fit and in great shape as well!!!

Bruce Hymanson
I will say goodbye for now. If you have additional questions, Debbie will forward to me and I will answer them. I am very excited to be with you for the next three months through the holidays. Just think how great it will be to get fit throughout the holiday season and enter the new year fit and feeling good!!

next week - Leighton Denny - nail king - and Nina his lovely model and business associate. And the first feedback from the Trim and Tone Challenge!
