This week I had more nice comments than ever before about one of my shows with Bruce - Tuesday's show when we had four customers on with us as well.

Therefore, here is the whole thing if you missed it! And for future reference!

Another wonderful week of webchats! And the debut of the Monday BigChat on QVC UK facebook page. This week it was Bruce from Bodyblade, who took time out from his amazing schedule to take care of your questions. I won't bother you with how difficult it was to get his posts to air (technical issues) but by 11pm all the questions were answered!

go here to read it all on Q page

Published in Back to You

RIP Wayne Dyer – my favourite self-help speaker. Big News – Webchats on Q Page – the line up is out! Webchat Q&A this week from Leigh, Tarte Cosmetics and Bruce Bodyblade. AND which big brand has joined my Medical Detection Dogs fundraising team?

Oh I was soooo sad this week to hear of the passing of one of life’s great men – Wayne Dyer, erstwhile QVC guest, self-help guru and genius writer, who died at the weekend. Such a shame – for all concerned but he leaves such an amazing legacy. I list a couple of my favourite books of his below. If you’ve never heard of him do read this lovely tribute on MindBodyGreen – go here.

For anyone in the wellness world, Wayne Dyer was a legend for his ambition and inspiration. As he once said, "There is no scarcity of opportunity to make a living at what you love; there's only scarcity of resolve to make it happen." (The Power Of Intention).

He backed up his positivity with book sales that made publishers take the self-help category seriously (his first book Your Erroneous Zones sold over 35 million copies), and a career that lasted for four decades.

When I went through my own difficult transition time, when I left QVC, got divorced, changed jobs several times, learned freedom eating and rediscovered myself, his teachings inspired me more than anything else. Here are a few of the sayings he gave me, which also played a role with my own children. My son Brad even made a seminal piece of artwork for his A Level featuring some of his sayings.

‘Give up your need to be right.’

‘Be independent of the good and bad opinion of others.’

‘You’ll see it when you believe it … whatever you believe will be true for you.’

‘Whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you are right.’

‘what you focus on expands… you’ll just get more of it, including something you don’t want, if all you do is keep putting your attention on it.’

‘Don’t die with your music still in you.’

‘You’re not a human being having a spiritual experience, you’re a spiritual being having a human experience.’

‘Everything in the world is as it is meant to be… and so is your desire to change it.’

‘In relationships, if you have the choice to be right or to be kind, pick kind.’

If you wake every morning at 4am, ‘don’t go back to sleep, the morning breeze has secrets to tell,’

And if someone is constantly critical of you and your choices – ‘when I made this decision I didn’t have you in mind.’ (!!)

Or if they still keep on –  ‘you’ll get over it.’! Hah!

Here are ten more.

I loved his story about being a ‘Scurvy Elephant’ – google it.

Wayne Video – the power of contemplation and talking about his childhood here  and if you’ve never seen his work before, here’s one of my favourites -  I love this old one, ‘how to get what you really really really really want’ how to get what you really really really really want’ – watch it here.

And a more recent one is here – your reality is created by your thoughts.

Also - On his website right now, a chance to see his movie The Shift – “Wayne loved this film and wanted as many people as possible to see it and get the benefits of learning to go from Ambition to Meaning in their life. In memory of Wayne, we are offering all of you the opportunity to watch The Shift for FREE for the next 7 days. Here is the link http://bit.ly/1MZ0ijj

Pic of serena and wayne

What if he was your dad? What must it have been like to be in his family? Serena Dyer, one of his 8 children, tells more about it, and made me wonder what my life would have been like had I had this influence earlier. And whilst I had my own version of him – a mini version in my father (who died aged just 52 in 1992 but always listened to my grand ideas) – I have at least tried my hardest to pass on to my own children a few of the messages and powerful beliefs that his work gifted to me, at an important time in their lives. Go here to see what Serena says and to find out more about his amazing beliefs. I just wish they taught it in schools. And I just wish every parent would have that type of belief in their own children, especially before the age of seven (listen to ‘the Biology of Belief’ to find out why that age.)

His Work I would love to recommend his work to anyone who has difficulty coping with their stage of life, or with hardships, depression, loneliness etc. He’s amazing, and his work will live on forever.

Go here to see his books on Amazon – including Manifesting Your Destiny, Real Magic, Excuses Begone, and a good one to begin with – the Power of Intention, Change the Way you Look at Things and the Things you Look at will Change. More here.

I had the amazing experience of being able to say hi to him and get a little video done when I was at QVC and he was selling Excuses Begone, a CD and book set, in autumn 2009. And saw him at I Can Do It in London in 2012 with Craigy and my son Brad. So glad I did. And even though Goody and I will now not see him on Oct 1st in London, I will have some very precious memories of one of life’s greats. RIP Wayne Dyer, 1940 – 2015.

Charlie Bears’ Will Commits to Help me Raise Funds for my Charity MDD

Oh how happy I was this week when Will Morris, Charlie’s hubby from our collectable bears range, wanted to first find out more about my recent work becoming an ambassador for Medical Detection Dogs, and then told me he would be helping me by raising some funding for them. I want to get to £11,000 – the cost of training one puppy – by the end of one year, and we are already over £5,000. Will keep you informed! In the meantime, do go to eBay where you can help by bidding for some of the MDD fundraising auctions currently ongoing! Sign in and Try here.

LEIGH FROM TARTE COSMETICS LIVE WEBCHAT 31/8/2015

Sharon Harvay Hi Leigh, Welcome to Back To You Qvc, so lovely to have you join us for a live web chat. Many congratulations on your Wedding too!Tarte Cosmetics seem to have taken everyone by storm! What is it you love about the brand and why? Xx

Sara Mahmoud Hi leigh, I'm new to tarte I only have the last tsv and the collection of 3 lip glosses and i love every single item. Will we be getting another tsv before Christmas ? And will we get the new energy noire collection anytime soon? I can't wait to build up my tarte collection, they are fantastic products. Xx

Nia Timothy Hi Leigh, just got a question about the maracuja oil - will it do anything for oily skin with open pores? Thank you! Xx

Sharon Harvay Sara did you manage to see the shows these past few days? Some amazing items x

Sara Mahmoud I did Sharon Harvay there were some amazing products but I thought I'd wait for a next tsv. X

Aly Quick Hi Leigh. I am a Tarte addict! Amazing products. I have several of the Tarte eye shadow pallets. Can I dip a wet brush into the colours and use them as liner? Will it ruin them or will they dry back to powder. I did it with Bobbi Brown once and ruined my pallet. I don't want that to happen to my Tarte.

P's, you always look so amazing!

Debby Lisa Ross Hi Leigh, just wondering when will the 24 hour blusher with the brush be coming back into stock? I also have the Amazonian clay waterproof eyeliner and wondered how the Prismatic liner and Tartiest paint liner are different, Thanks, I love Tarte cosmetics xx

Deborah Platt I absolutely love Maracuja oil and find it fantastic for my oily but dehydrated skin! I also love the eye cream but it has disappeared from QVCUK, is it returning please? Also, when are we getting Tarteguard please (I have had a sample and it is perfect as a moisturiser)? I love Tarte products!

Dawn Robinson Hello Leigh , firstly your brushes are absolutely brilliant ! I have the Clay Foundation i love the coverage & it lasts all day too xx

Claire Evans Will we be getting anymore sets before Christmas please, think I have heard rumours about a holiday bumper set??? Sooooooo excited already x

Lorri Vick Congrats on your wedding Leigh. I have used tarte since it first came to qvc. Adore the foundations and maracuja oil. Will we be getting the new foundation that i have recently heard about. Sorry have forgotten its name!! Xx

Dawn Robinson What Tarte products did you use on your wedding day ? You looked flawless xx

Leigh Griffin Hi Sharon! Thank for for the sweet wedding wishes! I have been with the Tarte brand for 7 years working closely with our founder Maureen on developing the products we all love so much. I love our brand because we are conscious of the ingredients and do not use which is hugely important to me because I have very sensitive skin. Our products are not only good for you, but they're incredibly high performance. I love that I can put my makeup on in the morning and not have to touch it up at all throughout the day.

Leigh Griffin Hi Sara! We do have another TSV coming in October and we are working on bringing the energy noir palette to the UK! Hopefully in time for holiday!

Leigh Griffin Hi Nia! The maracuja oil is really amazing for all skin types. It balances oil production while hydrating so you'll actually find that you breakout less!! It will really change your skin in a way you've never seen before!

Leigh Griffin Hi Aly! You can absolutely use our shadows as liners! It's one of my favorite things to do with my makeup!!  It won't ruin them!

Cherish Thomas more foundation shades please.

Leigh Griffin Hi Debby!! The blushes will be back in stock for our October visit! The tarteist liner is a thinner, more liquid formula and the prismatic liner is a cream! Both have excellent wear time!xx

Leigh Griffin Hi Dawn!! I'm soo happy to hear that!!!  you!

Debbie Flint Have a fab chat Leigh! Lovely to see u at the awards! You looked amazing! Xx

Leigh Griffin Hi Claire!! Yes!!! We have so many amazing sets coming up for holiday! Lots of values and new shades!! You can basically do all holiday shopping for the ladies on your list!!! Xx

Cherish Thomas Leigh we need more colour shades please.

Claire Evans Thank you Leigh, that's fantastic, I can't wait, yay!!!!!!! Xxxxxxx

Dawn Robinson My daughter has the eyeshadow pallett on her Christmas list x

Cherish Thomas Thank you. What a beautiful couple you make, had a sneeky look at your pics lol. Congrats!

Sharon Harvay Leigh you mention that the Cheek Tint was the first item created within the brand, did Maureen ever imagine Tarte would take off the way that it has? X

Deborah Platt Think you may have missed my questions Leigh, 5th from the start?

Sharon Harvay Please may i respectfully reminded all group members and participants not to friend request our Qvc Guests personal Facebook page( unless otherwise permitted ) These pages have either been set up to participate in the Monday evening live chats, or to Tag them into a post and may not be hosted or are personal, private, family accounts. Lorri Vick My Miracles of the Amazon set is being delivered tomorrow - happy happy! xx

Cherish Thomas i have tried foundation over the years but never liked the feel of it on my skin so rarely used the ones i invested in. However, i have now found a foundation (unfortunately not quite

Sharon Harvay what are your favourite Tarte products ladies?

Helen Flook Alll of it!!!!

Lorri Vick Liquid foundations, the prime stick and...............maracuja! xx

Leigh Griffin Hi Deborah! I am SO sorry!! The eye cream will be back!! Hopefully for the October visit! I completely agree re: the maracuja oil! We aren't planning to bring tarteguard until next spring unfortunately!  Xx, Leigh

Leigh Griffin Hi Sharon! Maureen's vision has always been to bring the best of high-performance naturals to women. She started the brand out of her one bedroom apartment in New York City with the cheekstain! She is thrilled that tartelettes all across the world are joining her mission to prove that glamour can be good for!

Deborah Platt And kind to animals Leigh, which is so important to me!

Sharon Harvay Isnt that just amazing!! How did she discover the amazing clay?

Deborah Platt Does Tarte plan to bring out more skincare to compliment the maracuja products?

Sharon Harvay Any hints on new product we can look forward to? x

Sharon Harvay it seems Leigh is having some connection issues, if you could make your perfect Tarte TSV, what would it be and why?

Yvonne Corser Next tsv?

Sharon Harvay October x

Deborah Platt Some skincare products, including maracuja oil would be lovely!

Leigh Griffin Hi Sharon! I've been working with Maureen on developing our products for years, so I've been able to create several of my dream products already! Xx

BRUCE HYMANSON – BODYBLADE QVC WEBCHAT – Monday 31st August 2015

Bruce Hymanson

Good evening Bodyblade Ohana! Just one week from now, I will be in London and on QVC hopfully with some of you!! Tonight, I wanted to talk about plateau. What is it? Do you feel as though you are reaching a plateau and if so, what can we do about it. If you are doing great with your workouts, feeling the difference and noticing improvement in your looks and how you feel, please share with the group. I'll be back at 8 O'clock!

You, Anne Keating, Chris Jopp, Joanne Mitchell and 35 others like this.

Anne Keating Hi Bruce. How are you? You couldn't have asked a better question than do we think we've reached a plateau! This past fortnight I seem to have lost all my get up and go! And over the weekend I was picking up the Bpdyblade and putting it down without even using it. Not like me at all! Yesterday was better but do you feel that way ever? And should I just leave it or work through it? Although saying that, I really couldn't have. xx

Bruce Hymanson For a body builder, it may mean that no matter how hard they try, they can't get past a certain weight they are lifting. Not the case for us but we could reach a different plateau

Bruce Hymanson For us, as functional trainers, we can gain strength, endurance, muscle definition and a better performing body but after awhile, you get used to how well you feel and how good you look where is becomes the norm rather than something new and exciting

Bruce Hymanson Hi Sarah, yes, you can always vary your grip as you prefer. The lace grip is more often the easier grip for beginners but the top to bottom is a great grip. Actually more advanced!!

Denise Widdows Hi Bruce. I've been struggling to stay motivated and stick to some sort of schedule. I have a lot going on at the moment but so has everyone else so I can't use that as an excuse. Just lazy frown emoticon

Bruce Hymanson So, sometimes, you just have to change things up a little. Modify the workout substituting one exercise for another or add squats or lunges or more trunk rotation. Even a little choreopgraphy (step back, step side, step forward, etc) to make it more interesting at times. Perhaps, do a new workout every day you train by visiting you tube and doing a different workout each day (3 x wk) for that week.

Bruce Hymanson Exercise shouldn't be work but it is something that we must pay attention to like our hygiene or getting the right foods, brushing our teeth and maintaining a healthy routine. Nothing in life is free. Those things we earn are the most rewarding and valuable

Bruce Hymanson Hi Jacqui, Have you looked at all the instructional videos and posts regarding the Hip & Thigh? Remember, strength has nothing to do with matching the rhythm of the blade. Well.....not entirely. You need to have strength but the most important factor is "speed". Quickness and coordination are vital to mastering the H&TS.

Sarah Price I think thats the BB secret for me, it doesnt feel like exercise and its only 6 minutes , if Im having a rough day I stop several times on every exercise if its a better day I fly through them , Ive learned to listen to my body

Like · Reply · 1 · Yesterday at 20:19

Bruce Hymanson That's great Anne! Any small change can make the difference. New scenery, one new exercise, changing the order are all variables that can work for us. I always try to do more inside the same minute. For example, If I am doing a chest press, I might try to rotate left, center, right as many times as possible in the one minute. Never compromise technique or safety but it is fun to challenge yourself

Bruce Hymanson Floor exercises can be challenging so do them slowly and in segments. You can sit and try the Chest Press on the floor. Then progress to the ab crunch position, side lying (bottom leg bent knee, hip on floor), then progress from there. The toughest will be the plank. You can try the plank and leave your hips on the floor. Gradually, try to raise them up. As I say, very challenging the plank

Bruce Hymanson Hi Julie, welcome to our family. Best way to relax is to shrug your shoulders to know what tension is, then let them go. See and feel the difference. You can also watch in the mirror if that helps you to relax. It's something that you will adapt to and find yourself relaxing more. Watch the LEARN section of the DVD for more about the common driving errors.

Losing ten stone – Dawn’s story.

Dawn Allen-Homer is one of the most inspiring stories to come out of my Till the Fat Lady Slims group on Facebook, and this week she put up a post which made us all cheer – she’s just topped ten stone in weight lost. That’s – lost. Ten stone – lost. She’s literally half the person she was before and here is her story – the last stage helped by Freedom Eating, the system mentioned in my book, which gave rise to our lovely supportive Facebook group by the same name (links below.)

In April 2015, four months ago, Dawn had lost eight stone and she told me this –

“I think I've done a bit of everything from WW to cabbage soup, but of late I'm combining diet chef with freedom eating,so the last 2 stones or so of those r down to that & i hope the next 5/6 willI be too,”

How did Freedom Eating help her at that point?

“… im amazed that my body actually does talk to me, I've even craved salad, that's never happened before, so ttfls is playing a big part at mo, I'm like u - the deep sigh tells me when to stop. & I had a cream cake the other day & didn't beat myself up about it & go on to eat six of them, so thank u so much for ur book & knowing I'm not the only one whose life has been that way, & letting me know this new way of eating, I'm hugely grateful, u can mention me as much as u like, if it makes some1 else like me read ur book that's great, & again thanku so much x”

Today, on the bottom of the post pictured above, she said this –

“I can't say enough how much freedom eating has helped, the no more guilt is a really big one for me, not doing the, ‘sod it I've blown it let’s eat every bit of food in the house’ thing, the fact I now eat the best bit 1st on my plate, instead of leaving it till last, knowing that deep sigh is a sign I've had enough, for any of u newbies it really works, try it, the control I feel I have with food now is amazing xxxs”

Q1. Dawn what was the story of your weight gain and what made you finally able to start losing?
A1. I have always struggled with my weight, but I got really big after I had my children, having prolly cystic ovaries didn't help, as I can't eat as much as a normal person, so the before pictures are a result of thinking I could. I have been on a “diet” for ever, but started to try really hard in the last few years as my knees got really bad with the arthritis, it's been a bit up down up down, till this year when I read ur book.

Q2. What helped the first part of your journey and why did you stall?
A2. I went to weight watchers & lost a bit but started struggling when I lost my mum, dad, & brother, & as I comfort eat it started creeping on again

Q3. In April you wrote to me that you were now on Diet Chef and that Freedom Eating had really kicked in – how did it help? And what have you been doing for this final section?
A3. The diet chef is because I struggle in the kitchen to cook because I can't stand for any length of time, so the convenience of it, but the freedom eating is what has given me so much control, when I read your book I cried because it was like you were writing about me, the guilt of blowing a diet would make me eat everything in the house, & I really struggled with the clear my plate syndrome.i now eat the best bit 1st, so I don't mind stopping eating. Now if I really fancy something I have it, but I can now stop too, I have learned to listen to my body, only eat if I'm hungry,  when I take that deep breath I no it's time to stop, & I actually enjoy salad now.

Q4. Any benefits you’ve noticed being ten stone lighter, that are NSVs – non-scales victories as we call the on the Till the Fat Lady Slims Facebook group?
A4. So many, I don't want to hide away now, my hubby can pick me up, he's never been able to do that before, clothes are so much cheaper, people who haven't seen me for a while have to look twice before they realise it's me, honestly to many to list.

Q5. What advice would you give anyone with a lot to lose who thinks it’s too high a mountain?
A5. Don't look at it as a big mountain, look at it as little journeys, I only aimed for 7lbs at a time, or it's just looks impossible.

Q6. What has been the turning point for you, in knowing that this time you will keep it off?
A6. The control I have around food now, the lack of guilt if I have what was a forbidden food, it's really hard to explain just how different I feel, I just look at food so differently now.

Q7. How has the group helped?
A7. The group is awesome, it feels such a safe place, I would never of told strangers how much I weighed before, the ladies are so supportive, & you know they are all on the same path as you,& they understand when your having a rough patch, they are wonderful people.

Q8. Any particular favourite parts of the book Till the Fat Lady Slims 2.0 – the ‘When’ diet?
A8. Gosh that's hard, finding out I wasn't the only one with such guilt over putting any food in my mouth, learning that it's ok to have something if you really crave it, & learning that the sigh you do when your eating means it's your body saying, that's enough thanks,

Q9. What does the future hold for you?
A9. Freedom from being enslaved by food, new knees, peace in my heart & mind, it may sound corny, but so much happiness in myself
.
.

Dawn you’ve been brilliant and well done for reaching one of your goals – onwards and downwards as we say – but we all think you look fab already! Thanks for taking part!

BACK TO YOU LIVE WEB CHAT - Terri from Josie Maran -Monday 24th August 8-9pm TERRI BRYANT

Anne-Marie Mason I'm a Josie virgin, by the time this chat starts though that will have changed (tsv on way). Please bring the 'salt spray' hair product as I'm dying to try it. I keep asking guests this lately because I need all the help I can get, you come across as really calm with no cares in the world so I'd love to know how you switch off from everything and relax? x

Orla Buckley Can your products be used on teenager skin. What regiment should be used including exfoliating. Daily/weekly routine. Thanks x

Debbie Flint Fab question x

Anne-Marie Mason Can I also ask please, different ranges use products in different orders, if I need to use a moisturiser as well as the oil does your oil go on before or after please? x

Sylvia Jarvis Good question Anne-Marie Mason

I'm sure this is a common problem as the more products we buy, the more confusing it all becomes!

June Kelly-Bain Terry and Josie stunning xx

Dawn Robinson Hello gosh i can't tell you how much both my daughters love the whipped argan body butter ! Sophie my eldest bought the duo and gave the other to her sister xx

Sharon Harvay Hi Terri! Welcome to our Back To You Qvc group! It's so lovely to have you here! So many of us are thoroughly enjoying the Josie Maran range so thank you for bringing it to us! Which product within the range could you not live without? X

Dawn Robinson Another favourite of my eldest is the argan glow tan ! She loves it x

Debbie Flint Superb! Terri do feel free to reply in order of questions asked! And can I say you're one of the nicest guests I've ever worked with, and what a great range too! X

Terri Bryant Hello! Looking forward to chatting with you all

Janie Smith Ive not used this range before but do love argan oil. Do you do a product for hair that wont leave it limp and heavy please? X

Jan Thompson Hi terry I missed out on the last TSV as I think many did due to it's popularity, any chance you would be able to do something similar again soon I would love to try this range x

Terri Bryant Hi Anne-Marie! I travel quite a bit so home is my sanctuary. We live on a lake in Florida. Something magically soothing for me being on the water….also, my husband, dogs & a glass of wine on the patio go a long way to erasing the stressors of life. smile emoticon At the end of the day my best advice is to surround yourself with people who are supportive & share a positive energy

Terri Bryant Hi Orla! JMC is great for teens. A simple routine of cleansing, nourishing & protecting the skin. For daytime I would recommend Cleansing Oil & Argan Daily Moisturizer with SPF 47. In the evening I would recommend Cleansing Oil & Argan Oil Light (you can replace the cleansing oil with our gentle exfoliating powder 1 or 2x a week in the evening). Also great to consider Bear Naked Wipes for on the go or days when your teen (or any of us) are feeling a little too tired to cleanse wink emoticon

Terri Bryant Hi Sharon! So hard to choose just one product so I might cheat a little and choose 2 smile emoticon ……for skincare I live for my Argan Oil Light & Argan Milk. Powerhouse duo for sure!!

Sharon Harvay oooh fabulous choice!!!! x

Sharon Harvay Terri I soooo love the Coconut watercolour eye shadows! It's great how you can choose any depth of colour with the product. It last soooo long on the eyes! Love it x

Andie Stephany Hi Terri - are we going to get the wonderful tinted Argan Oil? My supply from USA is just about finished

Terri Bryant Hi Anne-Marie. You can absolutely use Argan Oil with your moisturizer if you would like to. Best bet is to use your moisturizer first and then a pat Argan Oil on top…helps to lock in & strengthen your moisturizer while balancing & strengthening your skin's moisture barrier

Janie Smith Sounds like a fab idea Sharon x

Terri Bryant Hi Janie. We do have a hair serum that is great for both treating & styling the hair but my personal little secret is that I find our Argan Oil Light is fantastic for smoothing, conditioning my hair without weighing it down

Sharon Harvay Janie, the colours are stunning, you can either shake it and pat it on for a deeper colour in my top photo, or use a light wash, or as a eyeliner, this is the Rainforest Green and I love it x

Terri Bryant Hi Jan! So sorry you missed the TSV. I'll definitely work with Josie to get something to you as soon as possible. I'll be back 2, 6 & 7 Sept. I don't have a TSV but definitely some fun new goodies to try. xx

Dawn Robinson Love the eyeshadow its fabulous x

Terri Bryant Hi Dawn! So glad your daughters are loving the Body Butter & Self-Tanning Body Wash. Also super lovely that they share…not always an easy thing to do when it comes to our whipped Body Butter wink emoticon

Jan Thompson Thanks Terri, will look forward to your shows, I'm looking forward to trying the foundation soon x

Janie Smith Thank you Terri. I will try that out x

Andie Stephany How are Josie's gorgeous babies? They must be getting big now

Janie Smith Sorry another question! Does you mascara contain the oil and if so does that help to encourage growth? X

Sharon Harvay I love the Brightening face balm too, beautiful texture xx

Dawn Robinson Thank you Terri yes im guilty of of using it when there out ! While the cats away the mice will play...... xx

Janie Smith Sharon i will def be lookinv into those. 3 looks with 1 item. Way to go!

Orla Buckley I have ordered most of your products and tsv, cant wait to try when they arrive. Love to see more products in the future. X

Janie Smith Dont feel guilty Dawn. As if they never use our stuff!!!!!

Shona Robertson My foundation bottle was broken at the top so sadly have had to return to qvc.

Sharon Harvay Janie The purple on your eyes would be stunning!!! Its a 3 set but did sell out x will keep an eye out for you xx

Dawn Robinson That's made me giggle Janie xx

Janie Smith Thank you . I adore purple shades xxxx

Terri Bryant Forgot to mention the Infinity Cream!….a great multi-tasker not only for skincare needs but also designed to turn powder makeup into creams with this product

Janie Smith Dawn i had a very expensive hair mask. Went to use it and husband had finished it as he thought it was the family hair conditioner! Nooooooo

Dawn Robinson My daughter said she would love a body mist (spray) with the fragrance of the body butter x

Janie Smith That sounds clever

Sharon Harvay OOOOHHHHHHH Terri Bryant That sounds amazing, very clever x

Terri Bryant Would love to know of any fun ways you've all found to use your Infinity Cream. We say, "One creamy oil with infinite uses". We've found quite a lot but I'm sure we're missing some wink emoticon xx

Orla Buckley Will we see the new Argan cream moisturiser soon ? I thought i heard them talking about it on qvc us

Sharon Harvay Terri for those that may not have heard before, what was it that Made gorgeous Josie decide to create a beauty range from Argan Oil? x

Aisha London Hi Terri, I was wondering how can you tell if you have a real or fake argan oil I know Josie is real because qvc stocks it. I have seen so many bottles of it having a moroccan husband and always going over there. I just couldn't tell the difference. Please let me know how to be argan savvy its like wine.

Aisha London p.s the tsv is fantastic I've sorted my runny foundation the kit is lush thanks.

Terri Bryant Hi Orla, the cream moisturizer is definitely something we'll look into. We do have a new treatment product coming in Sept. that's truly amazing for dry or under-nourished skin.

Sharon Harvay OOOh that sounds fantastic Terri!! x

Terri Bryant Hey Sharon, Years ago when Josie & I worked together back stage we used all these luxury brand products that made her look great in a photo or walking down the runway but really wreaked havoc on her skin. She wanted to find a way to combine the idea o...See More

Anne-Marie Mason Thanks Terri, I've just put my new oil on now. Oh I just want to get on a plane now and come to yours, it sounds like a real little haven! x

Sharon Harvay me too!!! What a fantastic story! x

Terri Bryant Great question Aisha! A few things to look for when it comes to the quality of your Argan Oil. Want to look for a brown glass bottle to protect the integrity of the oil. Smell the oil. If it has an odor it most likely has had heat applied which burns away all the good stuff (essential fatty acids). Look at the packaging. You want it to be the only ingredient listed as well as should read "Organic & first cold pressed". Sometimes they read as just "cold pressed" but you want the 1st cold press. Anything beyond first is diluted. We also work with the women's co-ops in Morocco to ensure fair trade. Sorry to ramble on here…can't help myself…..really great question smile emoticon

Sharon Harvay Fantastic Aisha, thank you Terri, its really good to know x

Terri Bryant So glad you're loving the TSV Aisha. I was super excited to bring it over and am just thrilled people are enjoying it! xx

Julie Kaye How do we use the highlighter balm in tsv

Any tips please?

Debbie Flint I must say I love the argon milk, being quite new to the range I'm very impressed. Tell us why it works differently from the normal oil, again? X

Anne-Marie Mason Ooh Dawn, there is a spray on their own site, I can't think right now if it's for face or body but hopefully we'll be able to try that soon. x

Aisha London Thank you Terri your not rambling on. I have seen so may so called argan oils in the markets selling in see through bottles so cheap and its such a precious oil you just want to know you have the real deal . I do love it when its nutty in salad . I get so excited about this oil just wish I could sniff it out like a vintage wine

Dawn Robinson That would be fantastic Anne thank you xx

Terri Bryant Hi Julie! I love sweeping the balm on top of the cheek bones, just over the brow, on the eyelids or just a pop on the inner corner of the eye, along the collar bone. It brings a lot of lift & light to the skin. Another great way to wear the illuminizing balm is after your skincare, use it over the entire face as a primer, then follow with either a little concealer or light powder or even a little light foundation where needed.

Natalie Hollern Do you need to use a primer under the eye shaddow from the tsv pallete or the coconut watercolour eyeshadows? X

Terri Bryant Hi Debbie! So glad you're loving the Milk. I know I am a bit biased but I think it's the most amazing anti-aging skincare!! It's actually micro-droplets of Argan Oil suspended in purified water to deliver everything your skin needs to be juicy, plump & youthful deep into the skin. To have a serum do this without an emulsifier as well is unheard of. The ingredients are SO pure yet the technology is quite remarkable. xx

Terri Bryant Thanks Aisha. I'm totally with you smile emoticon

Sharon Harvay what can we look forward to in the September shows Terri?

Terri Bryant Hi Natalie! No need at all for a primer under the eyeshadows. Especially the coconut watercolor eyeshadow…it's been tested for 14 hour wear & 14 hour hydration! xx

Terri Bryant Hi Sharon, we're still playing with assortment but I'm pretty sure we're going to see new lipstick colors, new infinity lip & cheek colors & a deep treatment cleanser amongst others. xx

Sharon Harvay ooooooh la! la! Cannot wait x

Terri Bryant oh…and could be a new shadow palette too!

Debbie Brown Hi Terri Do you know when we will have new stocks if the foundation? I missed out on the TSV and have been desperate to try the matchmaker serum. Thanks for bringing such an amazing range to us all. I adore the whipped body butter xxx

Anne-Marie Mason and the salt spray, pretty please? x

Terri Bryant Hi Debbie! So sorry you missed out on the TSV. I'm hoping we get the foundation back in September but can keep you all posted when I know more. I'm definitely on that one…It's too good to go without it smile emoticon Love that you're loving the Body Butter…isn't it divine?!

Terri Bryant Hi Anne-Marie. I'll definitely put in the request. xx

Aisha London Do you have a offical facebook page for brand news and tips

Sharon Harvay Back To You Qvc please lets give a big warm thank you to Terri Bryant for a fabulous web chat!! Terri you have been wonderful and we so look forward to seeing you back on QVCuk In September. You have been brilliant! Thank you xx

Terri Bryant Hi Aisha. there is a Josie Maran Facebook page but i'll look into something specific for QVC UK

Sharon Harvay Thank you for joining in ladies xx

Anne-Marie Mason Thank you Terri, you've been fab! x

Dawn Robinson Thank you so much Terri & Sharon xxx

BRUCE BODYBLADE WEBCHAT – Monday 24th August – self esteem

Hello Bodyblade Ohana!! I've literally just returned from a week in Australia where I appeared on their shopping channel. I'm back home and looking forward to our chat this evening. So much to catch up on too. Let's talk about self esteem tonight. It seems that over 60% of the population doesn't have great self esteem. Why is that? What can we do to change that and how important is exercise to help in that process

Anne Keating From my point of view, if I look after myself by exercising and eating properly, my self esteem goes sky high. But if I don't, I know I easily become depressed. Difficult to do something about it when you are in that state though! xx

Bruce Hymanson Exercise and self esteem go hand in hand don't they? I see it everyday and experience myself how I feel if I don't get adequate exercise. So many people could raise their self image by devoting just a few minutes a day to themselves. Take a walk, stretch, pick up your Bodyblade but remember yourself somewhere along the schedule everyday.

Bruce Hymanson When I was in Australia last week, I visited the Opera House and the beautiful park around the property. I took my blades with me and meet a lot of people willing to try the workout. We had a ball with people who were walking on their lunch hour or part of a major workout. I wish you could all have been with me because we could have shown them how great you are!!!

Howard Carless Evening Bruce. I'm 76, have rheumatoid arthritis and other autoimmune conditions and have severe weight loss. Have been using BB for about a month, can do the super six at least once a day. Have managed to put a bit weight back on over the last couple of weeks. My self esteem has improved by doing the super six but mainly by seeing the muscle development in the arms and legs and the reduction in pain. Thank you for your help. I intend to expand the exercise but do not want to loose any weight.

Tracey Cox No problems with self-esteem really, but I do know that I feel better all round when I'm getting regular exercise. Just 2 weeks and 3 days with my Bodyblade and I feel stronger and just better generally. Everything I do seems easier somehow.

Published in Back to You

An interesting topic of conversation came up this week with a lovely lady whom I will call Ros, who private messaged (PM) me on Facebook with a typical problem I’ve been asked about before. This is what she wrote –

“Dear Debbie. Hope you dont mind messaging you. But I feel you are living in similar circumstances to me.... Single mum, live alone, kids away (mine at uni 23 & 19). You always seem so happy , content, bubbly n full of life. While I'm so unhappy, lonely n feel my life is empty. I work fulltime but feel I only live to work! Any advice or words of wisdom hun. Sorry to disturb n bother you.  x. Your new home looks so lovely”

It really disturbed me that someone should seemingly feel so unworthy and alone, and I really felt for the lady. For those who don’t know, I had a similar era in my own life including being treated for depression for 6 months in the mid 2000s. This was my reply, and it’s a good one for anyone else in the same boat –

Bless you Ros,  you have to get to learn to love you. There are lots of self help books that really helped me get comfortable with life and whilst we often look for others to fill a gap or fill the time, it's best we fill it up with ourselves. I'd suggest getting into a guy called Wayne Dyer, he has many many books and audiobooks that I love so do feel free to try those and come back and let me know what you think. Also join our groups if you haven't already, back to you QVC, I'm a QVC UK Queen, Bodyblade QVC, till the fat lady slims etc- , lots of other people in a similar situation who all like to chat and support each other, it's a great network. Don't be sad - time to get on with your life and change your expectations I would say. Also a really important thing is don't eat any crap, it makes me depressed if I do. And also exercise every day even if you just march on the spot for five minutes or dance around for five minutes or do one minute on the Bodyblade it makes such a difference big hugs x

To that I would also add cut right back on sugar. A ‘treat’ which spikes your hormones and fouls up your body’s inate delicate mechanism used to keep it in balance is not a ‘treat’ but a punishment. Here’s why – click here.

Ros is now well on her way – she tells me she has joined the groups (not her name) and has begun exercise. I do hope it helps. The most important thing to do is to stand guard at the door of your mind as it’s the most dangerous thing in your life, if you find yourself sad at being alone. I’m never lonely now, even when I’m alone. I might need to get out more, but not till I’ve enjoyed my new home for a few nights in! lol.

BACK TO YOU LIVE WEB CHAT A'KIN-Monday 17th August 8-9pm LISA MCARTHY

As pioneers of natural skin and hair care products that genuinely work, [A'kin] continue to be driven by their founding principles, including a passion for pure, natural and effective ingredients and a genuine concern about ingredient safety in personal care products. This philosophy is known as “The Power Of Purity" – the power of combining pure and natural ingredients. Please post your questions to Lisa McCarthy here! — with Lisa McCarthy.

Dawn Robinson Brill looking forward to it xx

Lisa McCarthy Can't wait ! Please can you share the link to the latest blog piece you have written about our New Eye Cream?

Lisa McCarthy Looking forward to talking to you this evening! I have some great photos to show you of people testing out the Purely Revitalising Lifting Eye Cream with Incredible results on real people! And i can't wait to tell you all about it's amazing pure ingredients and what they can do for you!

Dawn Robinson Hello Lisa , I really like the sound of the Rosehip Oil , My one daughter has very sensitive skin would this be suitable for her she's 22 ? xx

Dawn Robinson The packaging is beautiful too ive been looking at them on Sharon's blog xx

Lisa McCarthy HI Dawn Robinson & Sharon Harvay, great to be here, thank you so much for having me. Such as great question Dawn thank you we like the red boxes too and Sharon's blog is fantastic, I love the photos! [A'kin] Pure Radiance Rosehip Oil is suitable for all skin type especially and skin of all ages. It helps to desensitise sensitive skin in particular and protect from external pollutants to calm and soothe skin. Cleanse the skin so its slightly damp and take two drops to start in the palm of your hands, then press this in to your skin and follow with your moisturiser. You can use this day and night. This will ale help strengthen her skin so it feels so much more comfortable. The {A'kin] Pure Radiance Rosehip Oil is really concentrated so you only need a small amount. It's perfect for this time of year too as the sun can activate lots of allergens in the air that can make our skin extra senstive. xx

Sharon Harvay Hi Lisa, Thank you so much for joining us this evening. It is such a pleasure to welcome you back! So looking forward to you telling everyone about your beautiful range and the new Lifting Eye Crème which is fabulous!! Thank you for the blog compliment!! Its easy when the products are as wonderful as yours x

Dawn Robinson Thank you so much Lisa, could you use a small amount on the elbows & heels ? Xx

Sharon Harvay From Debbie Flint : Debbie Flint hi all ! I'd like to welcome Lisa from A'kin to our group and ask a few things to kick it off! Firstly, tell everyone who doesnt know, what are the real USPs for your brand hon? why buy A'kin? Secondly why is it called A'kin? And what are the true iconic products from the range and what do people say about them? x

Lisa McCarthy Thank you Sharon it's pleasure to be here. The Purely Revitalising Lifting Eye cream in the blog was created from all of our customer feedback- Its a real challenge due the structure of the skin around the eye is so complex due to the movement of this skin and the fact there is no support for the skin around the eyes so to develop an eye treatment that meets the needs of all our customers feedback… who are concern with Fine lines- just starting to see lines appear and want to take action,Deep Wrinkle/Crows feet- deep lines heading towards the hairline-genetics Uneven tone- pigmentation from over exposure to the sun Dryness- the skin feels tight and two sizes too small, Sensitive eyes- Prefer Fragrance free, Contact Lens wearers Dull- micro circulation congested, eye are lacking radiance Dehydrated- people staring at computers screens all day, Crepey eyes longing to feel smoother and fresher Make up sinking in to the skin not smooth. Tired eyes- long days, Shift work just the day job, New baby Quickly absorbing -we are all so busy! Treatment for no make up days It’s so important to get it right!!!

Dawn Robinson I like the sound of that "" treatment for no makeup days "" x

Sharon Harvay Perfect for everyone!!! Lisa, was it long in the making? x

Lisa McCarthy A'kin is an Australian Brand and have been creating pure natural products for over 15 years!

Lisa McCarthy A'kin are known for their power of purity creating gentle products that are so effective and incredibly gentle on the skin

Lisa McCarthy Yes, the product was three years in the making! Most products have to be tested for at at least three months we took three years to get this right and results are incredible!

Sharon Harvay I have mine here and the texture is stunning x

Lisa McCarthy The name [A'kin] means likeness as in a likeness to nature. We carefully select effect ingredients that can mimic actions in the skin and deliver better results than that from formulated man made ingredients.

Dawn Robinson My husband suffers with psoriasis would this help if he tried it x

Sharon Harvay Jill Dowding-Walker am I right in thinking you are also a fan of the Rosehip oil? x

Sharon Harvay Jo Brown was this range one you were thinking about too? x

Lisa McCarthy For example the Purely Revitalising Eye has the most amazing plumping action on wrinkles and leave the skin silky smooth- this is because we use Echium oil which is natures resurfacing oil it will plump up wrinkles in seconds and avocado oil to protected and weather proof the skin , no fillers required!

Debbie Flint HI :Lisa - am with miceal! he says he loves the rosehip oil!

Sharon Harvay oooohhhhhh can I have a bucket load for my body please? I have to say, I took it away with me last week and as exhausting as my holiday was (activity led) my eyes always looked fresh, and awake.

Sharon Harvay Hi Debbie!! Hi Miceal x

Lisa McCarthy All you need is the size of a grain of rice apply with your ring finger and smooth this all around the eye area. Also put any traces left on your lip line and that area in-between your eye brows ( my favourite trick)

Debbie Flint he says it helps with combination, reactive, sensitive skin, all of which he has! He says hi! x

Lisa McCarthy HI Miceal! great to hear your loving the rosehip oil! Its perfect for a combination skin as it helps purify the skin. the oil will penetrate to the lower layers of the skin within three hours and start to detoxify and strengthen the cells its all the omega fatty acids also great for reducing inflammation which is why its perfect for sensitive skin xx

Dawn Robinson Gosh this would be fabulous in a body butter with all those beautiful natural ingredients xx

Sharon Harvay Fantastic, I truly love that oil, I love the colour, the earthy smell, the slip. Its great after being in the sun and also on slackened skin I have found x

Lisa McCarthy The other great thing about the the Purely Revitalising Eye Cream is using it as a mask. Put about a pea size amount on this time and leave for 10 minutes to smooth soothe and brighten the eye area!

Jo Brown Sharon I'm always adding to my wish list! I'd heard of A'kin from my travels and links to Australia, but not tried it yet, but it's even mentioned on my go to cruelty free beauty pages for having an entirely vegan range. Look forward to trying some products in the future

Debbie Flint Me and miceal say hi ! Enjoy the chat! I'm off to meet simon wilson (that's the top i'm wearing!) for the 9pm show! Hugs to all! X

Debbie Flint Final question- lisa, tell us about your background how you got into beauty and why you chose to work with skincare? X

Sharon Harvay Yes!! I remembered something Jo smile emoticon very kind to animals x

Dawn Robinson Hello Debbie & Miceal x

Sharon Harvay Lisa as a mask would I take it over the eyelid too? Excuse my make up free eye!

Jo Brown seriously I could've tested it to the max....over worked vegan nurse lol, even the bus driver told me how tired I looked when I got on!

Lisa McCarthy The Echium Oil is one of A'kins most powerful ingredients, it turbo charges smoothness in the skin and is clinically proven to be as effective as synthetic retinol A. Its natures resurfacer and is also in the cellular radiance serum.

Dawn Robinson It looks lovely & light Sharon x

Jill Dowding-Walker Yes, I love A'kin products, especially rosehip oil. It can be mixed into any natural base cream, oil or lotion to supercharge it Dawn! I have very fair, sensitive, easily irritated, allergy-prone skin. Currently covered in a rash from who knows what or where or why! After my shower tonight I will be treating it with the rosehip oil to strengthen and protect those easily upset skin cells! x

Lisa McCarthy Sharon Harvay you could try it on the eye lid sounds great suggestion, i love that fact it can open the eye area surround the eyes so it makes your features look brighter and bigger!

Helen Murphy This would be a new range for me. Could you tell me the best place to start please? Am 46 and have combination skin.

Jill Dowding-Walker I love the unscented range of A'kin products - my secret weapon when everything else stings or hurts my skin! x

Dawn Robinson Thank you so much Jill x

Lisa McCarthy Jo Brown thank you-yes we are endorsed by the vegan society and vegetarian society in Australia. We also won the green parent award for best facial oil for the rosehip oil x

Sharon Harvay Yes!! Dawn it is so light, in this photo I have used a little extra as Lisa just suggested so am sitting here in my dimly lit room, relaxing with it as an eye mask. It is so cooling on my eyes which are tired today, it does not feel greasy or heavy. It just sinks in and leaves my eyes open and soft and lovely.... will take a photo now hang on x

Helen Murphy That's is superb Lisa. My daughter has sensitive skin so Jill Dowding-Walker the rose hip oil sounds good for her.

Jo Brown That's great Lisa, I follow other brands to see what trends are but my preference is always to support those that are entirely vegan and cruelty free. Plus I'm 40 next year so any excuse for stocking up on some new beauty treats

Lisa McCarthy Debbie Flint I got in to beauty when i was 19 years old i had the most awful skin, I started to discover how natural ingredients were more compatible with skin. I realised i reacted to everything and my skin would go in cycle of flaring up flaking, going oily and break outs! I then discovered oil and that was it i love results and knew that i could make a difference to other people.

Jacqueline Jackson Good evening Lisa I've been using the rosehip oil and the lavender and rose night cream and they are both lovely. I read about them on Sharon's beauty blog and decided to give them a try and I'm really happy I did. I haven't tried the eye cream yet that will be my next purchase I think. I wanted to use something natural as I eat organically and so thought I should try using less chemicals in my skincare too. X

Sharon Harvay Sinks in beautifully x

Lisa McCarthy As technology and research has moved on we are are getting closer to nature than ever before. A'kins products are so pure it is as if we creating recipes from natures garden, effective but gentle a skin respecting cocktail of ingredients with abidance of nourishment for the skin, omega fatty acids ( rosehip oil) antioxidants such as Camu Camu soooo powerful!!

Helen Murphy Would be fantastic to have a try me kit on QVC rose and lavender night cream sounds amazing

Nayna Patel Is this range good for hyperpigmentation and sunken eyes with dark circles please.

Lisa McCarthy Ok let me tell you about camu camu it is 30 times more powerful than bits c from an orange 4 x more powerful than goji berry and x as powerful as blackcurrent this amazing ingredient is the brightening element in th purely revitalising Lifting eye cream it evens out pigmentation in the eye are and creates a luminous radiance!!

Sharon Harvay Thank you for the compliment Jacqueline Jackson smile emoticon

Sharon Harvay Dawn I will repost photos tomorrow during the day so you can see how amazingly bright it makes the eyes look as lisa is stating xx

Lisa McCarthy Dawn Robinson Hi you could try a little rose hip on your husband its not a pharmaceutical product however may help to reduce and smooth the skin- please do let know the results x

Sharon Harvay When are you back on Qvc Lisa and what products are you bringing? x

Jacqueline Jackson Are there any body products? Would love some x

Sharon Harvay And would you suggest Rosehip Oil for helping with Strechmarks after pregnancy or weightloss?

Dawn Robinson Yes sure i will x

Jo Brown I'm inherently lazy with body care, I'm a fan of oils for hair, face and body, but basically if I can spray it on me and get dressed straight away I'm happy!

Nayna Patel Thanks Lisa camu camu....come to me need you in my life. Such a great name lol xx

Lisa McCarthy Yes Sharon Harvay i would recommend Rosehip for areas of skin that need repair, the rosehip oil has a low melting point so absorbs in to the skin quicker tha, coconut, or argan oil which is why its so effective. It get deeper in the skin with its richcontration of healing omega fatty acids and starts to repair the skin right from where the cell develop so that they are stronger.

Jill Dowding-Walker Jacqueline - their body washes, body moisturisers, shampoos, conditioners and hand care items are lovely! Hope QVC will do more of these!

Sharon Harvay And the Face mask!! I love the face mask x

Helen Murphy Sounds like we need more products on QVC

Jacqueline Jackson Thank you Jill will definitely check those out x

Lisa McCarthy Jo Brown You can use rosehip oil from your scalp, hair face body down to your toes. And ladies must tell you if you have over exposed your decollate area this summer spread the rosehip oil all over to help smooth and repair. And if your feeling continental take it over the bust area too!

Jacqueline Jackson Lol how big is your bathroom Sharon? lol x

Sharon Harvay ooohhhh la la!

Jill Dowding-Walker Mais oui, zut alors!!!

Sharon Harvay hahahaha

Jo Brown Thank you Lisa

BRUCE BODYBLADE WEBCHAT

Bruce Hymanson

17 August at 20:07

Hello Bodyblade Ohana! I hoped to check in an hour ago as I usually try to do but another travel day has me jumping around like a wildman. Only a few more weeks until I visit the U.K. and shows to be Sept 7/8. Today, I thought we could talk about the things you most want to do. When you are not in the best shape, you say to yourself, "I wish"....... so I could walk more or hike etc. I spent the weekend with friends and tried wake boarding for the first time. I try to stay in shape but I feel my muscles today!!! That's a good thing. How about you?

I would love to do that again so for those who are interested, please let me know. I know Debbie Flint would love to do another show like last time. We all had so much fun together!!

Bruce Hymanson Hi Tracie, I will try to find out what the delay is for the DVD. The come from Taiwan so it's a slow boat across the ocean. I will speak to my buyer to find out if the DVDs are in inventory so we can get them up on the QVC site. I thought it would have been weeks ago. Stay tuned. As for the bags, no progress for now. Sometimes a small project can take 90 days to get up and running, then samples, testing and approval. I'll keep you all informed on that. Thanks for asking.

Jacqueline Jackson Hi Bruce is there a limit to what muscles can achieve for example if you use the Bodyblade three or four times a week is there a point where you are just maintaining what you have got the muscles to do or are they always building and improving? Hope that makes sense.

Mirka Marri Hi Bruce, I hope you are well. I have noticed that the BB has really helped with my rotator cuff injury, I now have a good range of movement and feel much stronger! Thank you smile emoticon

Sara Brown Bruce, I had a bad virus recently and didn't do anything for about ten days. When I went back to super six I found it tough to get through. Was shocked at how quickly I'd gone backwards. By then found that the Hampton Court super six in the short quick rotation was the way to build myself back up. Thank you.

Michele Morris Hi Bruce Hymanson. There are two things I most wish for. First to try and get more balance between my left and right sides. Like many right handers my left side is weak. Secondly I have the good fortune to live in a rural area with lots of footpaths and nature reserves. However, I have a weakness in my right hip following a fall 15 years ago. I find I can't walk more than about 4 miles max without causing hip pain. So any tips to rebalance my body and build strength in my hip with BB please?

Bruce Hymanson Hi Jacqueline, depending on how you train your body, you can plateau or maintain a certain level of fitness. To improve, it is important to challenge yourself to either increase "Flex Intensity" or time or both. You can also add more movement during your exercises to challenge the body even further. Here is an example. Suppose you do the Super 6 workout standing in one place. Take the Chest Press for example. Try stepping back into a lunge or add squats while you are doing the Chest Press. The more you do, the more your body gets in shape and the more you will have to challenge if you want to do even more. A great problem to have, right!!

Bruce Hymanson So, several questions and comments. Balance.....ALL Bodyblade exercises will help to improve balance throughout the body. There are many ways to increase the challenge by doing both right and left arm exercises to take that "not so coordinated side" and train to improve. The brain is simply trying to learn how to do a better job communicating with the muscles. You learn from doing.

17 August at 20:38 · Like · 9

Helen Murphy Just hopped on to say hello Bruce must confess lost my perma habit so need to get wobbling again

17 August at 20:41 · Like · 2

Bruce Hymanson Now, if you want to add new challenges to balance, you can stand by a chair, hold on, go to toe touch on one leg (or take it off the ground completely) while holding the back of the chair and drive the blade in a Jab position out to the side. Then, if you balance supports it, try doing without holding onto the chair. My personal favorite is to do a single leg stance doing the Hip & Thigh Sculptor and close the eyes!!! That's a great balance challenge. So start slow, hold onto the back of the chair, toe touch until you can stand on one limb and progress slow and easy. The good thing is all Bodyblade training will help dynamically improve your balance big time.

Bruce Hymanson Hi Maggie, Bodyblade is really a key in back stabilization. The muscle around the spine plays a vital role in back health. I can't tell you how often people come to me with hip pain and upon evaluation, it's not the hip but referred pain from the lumbar spine. Take control and watch yourself get better and better.

17 August at 20:52 · Like · 8

Jacqui Stephenson just a obversation ive noticed since starting to use my bodyblade that im standing much straighter and the pain from my degenerative disc isnt so intense ,.

17 August at 20:52 · Like · 6

Bruce Hymanson Jacqui, great news. Gravity is our enemy and the better our body is prepared to "fight" the effects of being pushed to the ground all the time, the less pain you feel, the less fatigue you feel, the more erect you stand and sit and the more your body loves it!!!

17 August at 20:54 · Like · 3

Sara Brown Posture improvement was the first thing I noticed.

17 August at 20:58 · Like · 3

Bruce Hymanson being fit and functional is always a process. Your body is smart. The more you do, the better your body will respond. That's why perma-habits are so important. Your body knows that when you challenge it to do well, it will rise to the occasion. Even when you take time off from exercise, your body says, "maybe I should stay fit for awhile because they are going to start again and I want to be ready" The key is not to stop for too long because then you body says, Ok, they're on vacation and I don't have to do anything.

Published in Back to You

This week I had some exciting news, really exciting news! It will involve me having an incredible try it for the first time club event, but I can't tell you yet or I will have to kill you ha ha ha X! Seriously, it relates to the charity medical detection dogs, for which at the weekend, we raised nearly £1200 on the day at my table top event. It went with a swing and thank you everyone who attended. But when you add to the online ordering when you add the online donations and private donations we have reached an amazing £5000. I do want to achieve £11,000 in the next 12 months, and I'm thinking of doing something like an online virtual pub quiz one night up-and-down the country in people’s homes or where ever they want to get together to join in and pay a little fee to take part and win a nice prize. What do you think - are you game?

The great news is that if someone donates £2000 you can name a puppy, so we get to do two! And now we just have to wait for a new puppy to arrive, or be donated.

Here’s the founder of the charity, Dr Claire Guest talking about what’s involved as far as the dog is concerned, just in case you have some puppies and you’d like to donate one. I saw mostly Labradors when I was there.  Watch this – click here.

Then when they get the next appropriate pup ready for training, we can name it yay! I've had some great suggestions already, like Bruce or BB for the Bodyblade team, della or Dell or Derek after my dad, and lots of regular dog names. If I get to 11,000 we can name five puppies which would be fantastic because there are two people I would name them after if we have more than two. I'm sure you can guess who if you are QVC are regular.

Also as promised this week here is the exclusive look around my new home, enjoy this video of the new ground floor told you the lounge was Bijoux!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SNdYlkG3TIw

Yes the house move is done, everything is installed now, just a curtain pole left to put up and the garden to do… Richard Jackson where are you?!!!  : - )

If you'd like to find out more about what happened at the weekend in the sunshine in Wotton, and see some faces you may recognise from QVC and from Facebook, there are tons of pictures and links to some fascinating news articles on my Back to You QVC Facebook Group blog (links to groups below – do join us.) And videos about the medical detection dogs and their work, do go here to see the question and answer web chat with me on Monday, featuring lots and lots of photos and information. And here is one of the four ambassadors, Lesley Nicol, aka Mrs Patmore in Downton Abbey, on Loose Women last summer, explaining more about how the dogs do their magic and about the upstairs downstairs rivalry on our fave drama. click here.

Onto other news … My book of the week is a lovely Beryl Kingston period saga, Off the Rails which I’m listening to on audiobook – as usual! More on my RiWiSi writing blog, where you will also find out what happened when ‘till the fat lady slims 2.0’ was free on ebook for the weekend. It went to number one in the kindle ‘diets and weight loss’ free chart, and I was very pleased. Well done if you got yours. Just click here to read all about it.

Here it is! Exclusive Webchat News! So I promised an exclusive about what will happen in September with the web chats on back to you group on Facebook. Well the big news is that we are going to extend them onto the main QVC page on Facebook between seven and eight, just before our weekly web chat at 8-9pm Mondays on back to you group. I have been planning this most of the year because back to you show is not on in September but will return for a very special event in January. So instead when I went to visit the web team up in Liverpool in July, we sorted out how I can reach QVC customers with some extra fun chats.  Basically we will be running them the same way we do on the back to you group, only for four weeks in September they will be hosted on the actual main QVC page, which has over 90,000 likes, so I hope we get a lot of people asking questions. The first one will be with me, and another special guest to be announced. We will also be announcing a very big competition to win a superb product at the end of the four weeks and letting you know about the fabulous ‘Juicemaster’ himself, Jason Vale who will be joining us at the end of September to launch a brand-new slow juicer. His DVD ‘super juice me’ is brilliant, (look on youtube) yet more proof that not eating rubbish and eating really good stuff and exercising does wonders for your body. Anyway even more reasons to put in your diary Monday nights with Debbie he he.

This week’s webchat had tons of info about Medical Detection Dogs and where they’ve been featured eg on the BBC. The whole of my Q&A plus Bruce’s bodyblade webchat from Monday – and some videos from the Table Top sale! – are on my Back to You blog. More here.

CBBC Finally I have an amazing event coming up, I've been asked to take part in the 30th anniversary celebrations of CBBC, having been the first girl in the BBC broom cupboard when I took over from Phillip Schofield in 1986, then had babies! Nothing to do with Philip! Ha ha but it meant that my pal from Piccadilly radio in Manchester, Andy Crane, was the one who sat in the hot seat the next time Philip was off. Anyway on 9 September this year on CBBC channel between six and 7 PM there will be a whole hour celebrating and looking back, featuring many of the past and present presenters. I'm chuffed to be there and I'm looking forward to it enormously. The last time I went was to the ten years anniversary when I was at QVC the first time round (1994-2000). Time flies – next month I’ve been back at QVC as long as I was here the first time!

Finally if you wanted to see last weeks QVC blog it's here including a funny with Dominic ‘the voice’ from Aurora, and if you still had a few pounds to donate to my totaliser, you can still use the Bodyblade event just giving page here. If you do thank you so much.

Mini Retreat – coming? Well lots going on including thinking about running a mini retreat at a quality bed and breakfast which also does dinners for people who want to learn freedom eating, brush up on their skills, and do a bit of bodyblading and stretching. Maybe in the spring. Let me know if you are interested. Not sure of any more details than that at the moment but it will be for a long weekend and will be the cost of staying at the B&B, food and a little bit extra for me to put towards the charity, if you want a one-to-one with me too.

Have a lovely week I will, in my new home. Back to work properly this week, and I am on all over the weekend. If you are one of my friends who regularly reads this as a way of keeping up with me, I apologise for being out of touch over the last month or so. The craziness has ended. Now I will get on with the very very important job of finishing my next novel French or Dutch... And being back in the land of the living, instead of away with the fairies with a head full of candy floss – and checklists of vital ‘things to do’ as I had so much on my plate. Exciting times though eh?

Best wishes

Published in Debbie's News

Thank you everybody who came on Saturday to our special event at Wotton Village Hall near Dorking in Surrey. And to anyone who donated online as well. What an amazing success. Including some private donations, we have actually reached £5000. Yes really! And I have some very big news about me and the charity, more of that next week.

This week’s Webchats was with me! Following the enormous success of the day, we all discussed it. More importantly lots of people posted links to articles, videos, and news features about medical detection dogs, the charity we did it all for. Many of the lovely dogs and owners turned up on the day and thank you to Christina and Annie and the team from MDD for attending and processing all the money.

Thank you also to my lovely helpers without whom I couldn't have done it.

So below is the full web chat transcript, and if you wanted to look on Facebook on the back to you QVC group you will probably be able to look back to Monday and find the full Q and A. Enjoy it, tons of reading below.

And well done to Dr Claire guest and team at MDD, for getting such wonderful coverage for the news that they are they have been granted the ability to use the dogs to help detect prostate cancer in hospital urine samples. As back up for the main tests which can be unreliable.

Thank you to Patrick from cracker, Abby from ultra sun, Polly from Imedeen, my lovely pal and CBBC presenter Craig, Ginetta from Veronese, and Selin from no-no as well as Justine Balmer from Gtech, all of whom attended and helped make the day a fabulous smash hit.

Next Monday the 17th, I believe we will be hearing from Lisa from a' kin!

Have a great week and speak soon. PS on my website homepage, I am posing an interesting question about meeting up, if you like till the fat lady slims, and bodyblade. Do you go here to read it. And email me your reply.

Best wishes have a great week

Published in Back to You

This week my book of the week is a smashing book i've been listening to on audible, by a lovely lady called Beryl Kingston. I met Beryl out in France inJune and she's a very prolific author who writes about "the old days up north!"

"Off the rails" is a super story of rags to riches and love and vengeance. I am really enjoying the atmospheric settings, the use of the vernacular, and the emotions she evokes in her story about a lad who was cast out by his family and went on to make it good, and the woman he left behind.

You can get it from Amazon, it's not a new one but if you like it she has written so many, it would be good to get into her library.

Till the fat lady slims

What a fabulous success this was when I did a freebie of the e-book over the weekend. It stayed at number one in the kindle chart in the UK for diets and weight loss, for most of the weekend, and around 1500 were downloaded. I seriously hope it helps a lot of people. I have just decided to donate all my proceeds from my QVCversion which I did on air on QVC UK in January, which sold out completely. (Itwas a hardback with extra content.) to my charity, medical detection dogs. Theyhave been in the news a lot lately, have you seen it? Anyway here is the link if you want to read some of the reviews of TTFLS 2.0. And here is one lady's comment now she has lost a lot of weight and just recently started being stricter with her principles of freedom eating, as explained in my book.

Have a lovely week

Best wishes

Another Story from Medical Detection Dogs

CLAIRE AND MAGIC “Magic and I have been together since September 2013, and life quite simply has not been the same since! It was a tricky decision to make in having an assistance dog for diabetes, especially when I work as a diabetes nurse for children and teenagers. I work at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge and lead the nursing team who help care for and support nearly 300 children, young people and families with diabetes. I’ve had diabetes since I was a teenager myself so it can be pretty useful knowing all the tips and tricks. I am used to people popping in to my office to say hello and ask questions, but since Magic has joined the diabetes team at the hospital I have never been so popular!

Magic now has a very important role in the diabetes clinic – welcoming the children and young people and making sure they are listening when we run teaching sessions. He has heard the sessions so many times he now falls asleep quite quickly and can often be heard snoring under the table. Whenever the office gets a little busy or stressed, he will yawn or have wind, stopping whatever is going on and allows everyone to have a little giggle before getting back on with their work. What is truly amazing is that although he is surrounded by children and young people with diabetes, many of whom come in with low blood glucose levels, he hasn’t alerted to anyone else – something I have to put down to his excellent training by Medical Detection Dogs. Many of our

patients now like to come in and say hello to Magic before saying hello to anyone else – although we don’t want this popularity to go to his head! It seems that the magic of Magic has far exceeded anything that anyone had planned – not only does he have a major role in keeping me

safe every day and helps me live my life, he also is helping many of my patients – making the diabetes clinic a happy and welcoming place. I think every clinic should have one – although, there is only one Magic in this world!” Claire

Other news –

-          Jason Vale coming to QVC… hot on the heels of Davina, another giant in the world of healthy living, his 28 day juice special changes lives – been loving the DVD, and his blender may be on QVC  in September – along with some fab news about my weekly webchats!

-          Dr Barnard’s amazing work using diet to solve diabetes issues – watch this video interview – the incredible work goes on and on… https://vimeo.com/user39603404/review/128945273/277b2140db

Ps heads up - Monday 10th, it will be me in the hot seat, talking about Till the Fat Lady Slims book and Freedom Eating as I'm giving the eBook away free for the whole weekend 8-10, to mark the occasion of the fab Table Top sale for Medical Detection Dogs. Another story to come, pop back again over the weekend! I'll have wifi again next week! lol!

WEBCHATS – MONDAY 3RD AUGUST 2015

RADICAL SISTERS

Back You Live Web Chat Radical 3rd August 2015

Sisters Liz & Rachel will be here answering questions about their amazing skincare line. During an Ad hoc web-chat here, Qvc's resident beauty expert Alison Young was singing the praises of, and recommending this brand for Rosacea! As well as wonderful skincare, Rachel & Liz have an amazing outlook on life.

Rachel: “To me Radical means living a life with intention, being kind and compassionate to myself and others, and being completely present in the moment with those around me. Taking a stand for something or someone to be that difference however big or small means I am on the right path for living a Radical life.

Liz: "To me Being Radical means living a life that is full of passion and purpose with no excuses and no regrets while carrying the energy of kindness regardless. Feeling awake and alive through inspiring and empowering another and knowing that at the end of the day I didn't forget the simple things that really matter. " The first 10 unique questions ( not already asked) will receive a surprise Radical Skincare Gift

Dawn Robinson Hello Rachel & Liz , We could all truly live in harmony with each other taking some positive energy from both of you, My first question is which one of you beautiful ladies came up with the idea first to bring out this amazing & fabulous collection of skincare ? Also my Son is 16 and suffering from outbreaks ! Please can you advise me what product would help him the most ? Thank you xx

Sue Stewart Hi ladies what is dark circles under the eyes and what can I do to improve the look of it.

Chris Calvert We now live in an age where women are world leaders and trailblazers. What is your opinion on the women's movement and would you say that in the beauty industry, the glass ceiling has been broken unlike in other professions?

Chris Calvert What are the most common lifestyle and environmental factors that aggravate rosacea or trigger flare-ups?

Liz Clark those satements are rather profound for me Chris Calvert i still haven't woken up yet lol

I'm going to be naughty and ask two questions xxx

What would you recommend from your range for me; male, 33, sensitive/reactive skin can get oily, still get blemishes, large pores and the early signs of ageing x I know your products are great for both sensitivity and anti-ageing but didn't know if there was a good starting point for guys?

My second question (I hope all the above counts as one!!) I'd love to hear your guilty pleasure! Mine is collecting Lego if you are stuck for ideas!

I quite often miss the web chats, but will make a special effort as I love watching your shows xxx

Sue Stewart I'm multi tasking!

Debbie Flint Hey girls, have fun on here tonight and best of luck back on air! I am moving home so am off this week, but have lots of fun big hugs X PS one of our best product ranges for rosacea, as per Alison Young Webchats a month or two ago on here

Dawn Robinson Im glad you've mentioned Rosacea Debbie im finding mainly after getting out the bath or shower my left cheek in particular is very red & hot for a couple of hours ! What would you advise please ? xx

Jacqueline Jackson Hello and welcome, I keep getting breakouts on my cheek area, bizarrely just on one side. Is there anything in your range that could help me. I'm 51 with dry skin. Thank you x

Sharon Harvay The smell in these products is so uplifting, they make me feel so happy!! x

Rachel Edlich It is so great to see so many great questions and Radical LOVE. Radical is committed to making an impact in each persons life from the inside out, so all of your support means so much to us!

Sharon Harvay Welcome x

Francesca Bumstead What's best for dark circles around eyes x

Rachel Edlich Dawn Robinson, it was truly a perfect storm for the both of us. Liz was looking in the mirror and seeing that Gravity is truly real because is is the OLDER sister…HA! I had to say it because she is so cute!! She wasn't embracing what was looking back at her in the mirror. I was having my own 911 about my skin when I developed Rosacea after my second child and really lost all self confidence. We both looked at each other selfishly and said we need to fix our face no matter what the cost. That is truly what happened. Our moment of adversity we turned into an opportunitiy to change our skin and life. Sister truly on a mission!

Liz Edlich Chris Calvert great question….great question….The Women’s movement ? You mean the Radical Movement : ) !

I really believe that the only ceiling is the one that we impose on ourselves today. I agree that as woman we are mega Radical multi taskers and each industry presents challenges, but it is possible to love your skin again, it is possible to love your life, you just need to be Radical in your approach. Rachel and I have traveled around the world and in the process have been writing our book coming out in January named :GET RADICAL- Life Changing Secrets to Create a Life You Love. We interviewed thousands about what “Beauty “ means to them. And in all of the interviews, no one ever said dark hair , bright eyes, 5”7

In all cases they talked about how someone shows up on the inside that makes them beautiful . So love, giving , authenticity, kindness and generosity is what it blowing away all glass ceilings, combined with a commitment to Get Radical and make a difference.

Sharon Harvay Wow! Absolutely amazing xx

Dawn Robinson That's fantastic ! Sisters working together, Can i ask what age difference there is between you ? You both look stunning xx

Chris Calvert Fantastic Liz Edlich thank you for answering my question in such a Radical way smile emoticon i totally agree i think beauty is more about the person than how they look. I would love to read your book when it comes out.

Rachel Edlich Dawn Robinson, your Son should use the Exfoliating pads for SURE. My son uses those every day and steals mine :o).. make sure he is hydrating as well so the Youth Infusion would be great for him too. Light weight, hydrating and really men love this product too.

Sharon Harvay Youth Infusion is stunning!!! I am absolutely addicted and will be sharing my thoughts about it after..it really is a skin changer, which then becomes a life changer x

Jill Dowding-Walker Totally agree Liz! We need to take care of our container, but what is essential is invisible to the eye! (Thanks, Little Prince!)

Francesca Bumstead Agree with Sharon would not be without it xx

Francesca Bumstead Have to go feeling a little under the weather, have a great time xx

Dawn Robinson Thank you so much i really appreciate your advice ! He is feeling extremely self conscious about it at the moment, so glad that these products suit all ages xx

Liz Edlich sue stewart and Francesca Bumstead - Dark Circels - What are they ? Ha Ha After RADICAL SKINCARE THEY ARE A THING FROM THE [email protected]!!! When you apply your eye cream, go from the inside out , think of your lymphatic drainage as your trash can fro toxins. So move it all out and easy on the alcohol and a bit of sleep helps. But since the last two are hard to come by…. i will use my Radical Eye Reviv elite a religion and pray a little extra xoxoxo

Rachel Edlich Chris Calvert I get that question so much about what flares up Rosacea. Each person has a different experience on what triggers flair ups ranging from spicy food, STRESS, sun, overheating and lack of moisture to the skin. Some people experience a flushing sensation like I did and get red bumps and inflammation. Did I mention the change in HORMONES? You might not feel my pain in this area(darn men), however, that is what triggered everything for me.

Liz Edlich Chris Calvert - maybe the YOUNGER sister can step aside so the wiser sister can get you an early copy of the manuscript !!!

Jill Dowding-Walker Broken capillary veins on face - very fair skin. What will prevent more/calm down existing ones?

Dawn Robinson We can all see you're both extremely passionate about your products do you get any spare time if so what do you like to do ? X

Sue Stewart Thank you Liz I am tea total and sleep for 8 hours a night. Perhaps it will have to be the Radical Eye reviv. Thank you x

Chris Calvert Hi Rachel Edlich thank you for answering my question and giving your own personal experience with this area, i find its stress what can make my flare up the most, but was wondering if there was other factors, which you have answered so well. Im sure men get their share of hormone imbalances too haha.

Chris Calvert That would be absolutley fantastic Liz Edlich I would love to get a copy, as i am very excited about the release from the information you gave in your answer. Ha Ha i like how you put YOUNGER in caps smile emoticon

Sharon Harvay Ladies, you have such a zest and enthusiam for life and for you skincare range. It is very contagious! What do you enjoy to do in your spare time, when you need to recharge?x

Dawn Robinson Just wondering Rachel & Liz if you could only take one of your fabulous products on an Island for a week.. Which one would you pick ?? xx

Rachel Edlich Jacqueline Jackson I am sure that is very frustrating. Our Age Defying Exfoliating Pads are your ticket to smooth skin. Not will they help with pimples but reduce pore size, wrinkles around the Eye area(yes that gentle to use around your eyes), and I would follow with our Advance Peptide and Restorative moisture. You need to get the balance of moisture back into your skin and bring down inflammation down. good luck!

Liz Edlich michael james hamlyn michael james hamlyn 33 ? OK, you are running behind ! Time to get Radical - That is why we call it life changing skincare. We have loads of 18 year olds that use the products to balance reactive skin, For you - The cleanser - perfect for cleansing and shaving and stops those shaving bumps, then follow with the Anti Aging Exfoliating pads ( use at night ) to REDUCE pore size and wrinkles and get rid of the dead dull skin- follow with our Youth Infusion Serum which for you may act as enough anti aging hydration. if not , our Restorative moisture should follow. Then GET READY… this is a RADICAL game changer. No Fear ALL CLEAR when you wake up each day and your skin is the last thing that you have to think of and only get to beat off the ladies compliments: ) WOO HOO Jacqueline Jackson Thank you for your advice I really appreciate it. x

Sue Stewart If you go on the desert island as Dawn Robinson suggests with your favourite product. Would you please take me with you and give me a facial x

Rachel Edlich Dawn Robinson I am way younger! Not really… I am young childlike 46 and my sister is a rockstar 52 adorable old sis.

Liz Edlich my sister is answering the age question , she will be 47 in a sec !!! don't let her throw me under the bus girls, The older we get the more we know and the more we ROCK , Radically of course!!!

Sharon Harvay HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Michael James Hamlyn Not really sure about compliments from the LADIES Liz!!! wink emoticon But thanks for the reply, will certainly be getting RADICAL soon xxx

Sharon Harvay xxxxxx 30 minutes of live chat left, please post your questions xxxxx

Rachel Edlich Francesca Bumstead so good to have you here chatting! One of our most loyal Radical girls!! Don't miss our hour show coming up this Thursday at 12pm! Can wait to share some new Radical sets with you.XOXOX

Liz Edlich Dawn Robinson Dawn, I have a house in the Bahamas and Tahiti and I know for a fact that they allow more than one product on the islands, OR I would sell both homes…. but lets just say that there was a ban on weight overages, I would leave my clothes !!! not my skincare… OK seriously, your killing me,….. I would take the power duo-the Youth infusion and the Extreme Moisture

Sharon Harvay I would really urge everone who hasn t yet, to try this range. The results are amazing and your products are an absolute pleasure to use. I am addicted to the cleanser, it is the perfect way to start and end my day x

Dawn Robinson I love how your positive energy bounces off each other "beautiful" x

Liz Edlich michael james hamlyn - my must have … hot sauce , I carry that and asking care in my purse !

Rachel Edlich Don't forget the exfoliating pads to remove the dead skin from all the sun…! I CANT PICK JUST ONE. …and the eye Cream…Don't forget to cleanse with our hydrating cleanser!..( i need an stressed out emoji showing that I can't make a decision. How do I do that?)

Sue Stewart

So I've moved in! Those who follow this blog will know i've been moving for a million years - well, doing the sorting out and decluttering anyway. And now i'm in. Anyway, there's a black hole where my house is just outside Dorking in surrey - meaning no mobile signal at my house. And no wifi. And until next week, no Sky TV either! Eeek! So it's been ... weird. Like 1990 again to be honest. And it made me realise how much of my headspace I'm in cyberworld, and has made me resolve to go online only at selected times during the day, so it's a 'thing' rather than it being part of my psyche! The family will be pleased anyway.

So I sat for the very first night in my new house, looking at the lovely cosy room and realising that it was writing, or reading, or music. Even the DAB radio struggles a bit. So did I - initially. But once I resolved to wait to look things up instead of doing it straight away if something needed researching for instance, it was all good.

Makes a change I guess!

Also one of my new house resolutions is to stick to proper Freedom Eating - already I lost a few pounds. handy cos i had my annual medical - more of that soon. And am 2% bodyfat less than last year - at 28 - that's great for me so I was very pleased. See below also re how to get Till the Fat Lady SLims eBook for free next weekend (8-10th August).

Irene Dingwall Just want to say you looked lovely on your wedding day

Barbara Marks Hi beautiful lady what are your fragrance favourites xxx

Anne-Marie Mason Hi Ali, congratulations to you both on your fab wedding. You always look fab and seem happy when on screen but I just wondered what your tips are for 'feeling fab' when you might be having a poor health day please, how do you stay feeling 'like you'? x

Jacqueline Jackson Welcome Alison and many congratulations to you and Colin. Just wondered with your husband being a musician do you yourself play any instruments or can you sing? Love you on QVC especially your diamonique shows. x

Liz Clark wishing you all the best alison an inspiration and a star..much love x

Sharon Harvay Hi Alison! Congratulations on your beautiful Wedding! You looked absolutely stunning in the photos that were shared! How does it feel to be a MRS? hahaha x

Dawn Robinson Yes your wedding looked absolutely beautiful, congratulations xxx

Alison Keenan Helloo! And A very good evening to you. Been looking forward to this all weekend. x

Alison Keenan Lynne Sneddon - the most memorable part of my wedding day, I think has to be when, having signed the register, we turned to face the congregation and all those I love most in the world were there, smiling. I felt an innate sense of peace and happiness. Wonderful

Alison Keenan Barbara Marks - favourite fragrances are Mademoiselle Coco Chanel which I wore on my wedding day, but also love Victor and Rolff Flower Bomb

Alison Keenan Anne-Marie Mason - Good questions! Like most folk I don't always feel 100%, but if I feel low, I either go for a run, have a cuddle with Colin or listen to music

Alison Keenan Jacqueline Jackson Hi there, I do indeed play two musical instruments - the piano and the flute.. Got to Grade 5 on the flute, but only 2 on the piano, but I tend to play by ear! LOVE singing, and Colin says I have a good voice - hoping to put together an album of Christmas songs

Alison Keenan Sharon Harvay Hello there lovely lady - it feels FAB being Mrs. Elsworth. I love introducing Colin as my husband smile emoticon

Alison Keenan Liz, Dawn and Irene, thank you so very much for your kind comments too! Our wedding day was such a wonderful occasion, and we felt truly blessed that everything went according to plan smile emoticon

Chris Calvert Hi Alison Keenan its CJ here i want to congratulate you on you marriage to Colin and wish you all the happiness together. I was wondering how did you get into working in TV?

Jacqueline Jackson That's fantastic Alison, just had a feeling you were musical. Would love to hear you sing x

Alison Keenan Hi there CJ - I actually started with voice over work, which led to a job in radio, and then an audition for This Morning with Granada TV. From there I was able to find all kinds of other work, but this job is the one I've worked at for the longest. I feel very fortunate smile emoticon x

Alison Keenan Hi there Debbie Flint - My great pleasure to be with you tonight - thank you very much for asking me!! How was the move?? I bet you're glad you've got the in styler to save you time with your gorgeous barnet!! LOVE Bobbie Brown too - great Hot Pick in your hour I know! xx

Alison Keenan Marie McEwan - I think I'm the lucky one... he is a lovely man x

Chris Calvert thank you Alison its funny how things turn out at times isnt it like there was some kind of plan already set out for you. I love seeing you on QVC and wish u all the best

Marie McEwan Yes I could tell that from the video you both made!!!x

Sharon Harvay Oh wow!! Im not usually into sweet florals either, more oriental scents, but there is just something about that fragrance...must have a warm undertone! Thats fabulous Alison xx

Alison Keenan Sharon Harvay - Daisy is another sweet but beautiful fragrance, and I do like to wear Tova Borgnine's Ombre D'Oro x

Alison Keenan Chris Calvert - I much appreciate that - thank you ! x

Debbie Flint Yes will be a fun night. You looked so so beautiful on your wedding night by the way was proud to be there have a great chat I'm at work now better go and do some ha ha X

Sharon Harvay Oh she is just adorable!!! What a cutie pie!! I am wondering if you will settle with her with all the excitement hahahaha, awww have a great time together xx

Barbara Marks Like a little doll  xxx

Jacqueline Jackson Ah gorgeous! x

Shirley Pearson Awwww Honey Bea is absolutely gorgeous. Lovely to babysit too. Adorable

Sharon Harvay Alison, was it hard returning to work after your gorgeous wedding and honeymoon or were you fuelled with excitement from the day! It must have been great catching up with stories from your guests point of view as its so hard to be everywhere on your special day xx

Sharon Harvay Also.... Is Charlie Brook a good dancer hahahahaha x

Alison Keenan It was only hard in the sense of energy! I loved seeing all my friends again and catching up with those who had to hold the fort while the rest were at the wedding! It was lovely to talk to them about the day, and the general concencus was that everyone had a ball! So pleased smile emoticon x

Alison Keenan Oh, and I don't recall Charlie dancing, but he was as always absolutely charming on the day. An incredible friend, and kinder than you could believe. Bless him x

Sharon Harvay Awwwww Thats beautiful, you two really do have a wonderful connection and it comes across beautifully on screen. Which shows are you looking forward to this week? love your Diamonique shows, always so informative, thank you x

Alison Keenan I'm very lucky to have him as a friend. Quite a lot to look forward to this week - of course my Diamonique Show at 9pm on Thursday is a firm favourite, and then I have the launch with Join Clothes at midnight! Are you familiar with their range?? One of our most popular clothing lines not surprising, and Evey Amery Kurlander got married the week after me!! x

Helen Murphy Hi Alison was lovely to see you on your wedding day thank you for sharing with us all. Xx

Jacqueline Jackson Do you know what's coming up in your diamonique show Alison. I love the Art Deco pieces especially x

Alison Keenan Helen Murphy - It was my absolute pleasure. A day I had dreamed of, but wasn't always sure I'd be well enough to see. Everything and more than I'd hoped for. x

Dawn Robinson What do you like to do in your spare time ? xx

Lisa Oxford Hello Alison, you looked absolutely stunning on your wedding day. Unfortunately I missed the presentation of your wedding jewellery. But I imagine it's beautiful x x

Jacqueline Jackson What are you going to do with your gorgeous wedding dress Alison? It's so beautiful. x

Helen Murphy My friend who has breast cancer has one more session of chemo left. Last was on her birthday so she asked everyone to post a pic of themselves in a scarf, hat or wig to raise awareness. She will eventually have her other breast removed too so it's a long road for her. Thankfully having a mammogram at 48 meant the cancer was found, there were no lumps or outward signs. Like you she is an absolute inspiration.

Evey Amery Kurlander Ali I am so excited to be with you for the TSV and thrilled that all was as you wished for your wedding xxx

Alison Keenan Dawn Robinson - I love reading, gardening, running and walking, and of course spending time with my children (ALL 8 of them) and my beautiful granddaughter. x

Dawn Robinson Sounds wonderful, I really look forward grandchildren xx

Alison Keenan Helen Murphy I gathered from the pink ribbon that you are a supporter. I am so glad that your friend is at the end of her treatment... it's a long haul, but the best chance any of us will be given. It sounds as though she will be walking the same road as me - far better to have the majority of risk removed, and to be able to crack on with her life. I am glad that she has you with her to support her. Please give her my best, love Ali x

Alison Keenan Lisa Oxford Hi there Lisa - if you want to check it out, just put in Alison Wedding Jewellery on our search bar at QVCUK and you should find it, although the earrings sold out in minutes! This was the necklace tho x

Sharon Harvay Oh how Beautiful x

Alison Keenan Evey Amery Kurlander - I too can't wait to see what you have for us as our TSV on Thursday night - and can't wait to see your wedding pics either!! You looked BEAUTIFUL xx

Lisa Oxford It looks beautiful, thanks Alison I'll check on the website x x

Alison Keenan Jacqueline Jackson To be honest, I am not at all sure!!! I would love to think it could be worn by another bride on her special day, but Colin says I should wear it every weekend - for the next five years at least!!

Helen Murphy Thank you Alison she has had such amazing support and had her last chemo on her 49th birthday last week while rest of her family were away on holiday. It wasn't going to pass unmarked though and a group of friends threw a party for her!

Dawn Robinson Lovely photo x

Alison Keenan Helen Murphy - that's the kind of support she probably needed. Funny, but I attended my last 12 on my own... was happy just to get through it, although we had a family weekend in Brighton to celebrate the end of the treatment x Well done you x

Alison Keenan Dawn Robinson Thank you! x

Jacqueline Jackson I think you should wear it every weekend too! x

Sharon Harvay PLease join me in thanking Alison Keenan for a lovely chat this evening! Alison thank you for sharing some of your special day with us, we really are all so thrilled and happy for you, you were truly a beautiful bride!! Enjoy your gorgeous Granddaughter tomorrow!! bruce bodyblade webchat monday 27th July 2015

Good evening Bodyblade Ohana! I am looking forward to chatting with everyone at 8pm tonight. Last week, we talked about "Power", this week I'd like to review what that means from your experience and talk a little about technique, permahabits and preventing bordem during exercise. As always, I look forward to any questions and comments you wish to share with our group. Please answer this post so I can keep up with everyone this evening! See you soon.

  •
  • Christine Faid Had my bodyblade about a week now but don't seem to be improving, will it come together in the end?
  • Wendy Lawrence Good evening Bruce, Ohana! No boredom whatsoever as we have so many great videos to work along with, as for technique - oh help I seem to be losing mine, did so well in the past but now just ache and have to keep stopping, hurt shoulder doing left side hip and thigh too in RPBB, I'm hopeless now! Still love it and want my technique back x
  • Marion Mcgrath Ohana bruce X
  • Heather Jones Hello Bruce Ohana, I find if I play music with a good beat I work harder and I have noticed a true definition in my upper arms coming, and I never get bored because I enjoy doing the exercises x
  • Mary-Jane Rossetter Hi Bruce, like some of the other beginner BBers I'm wondering if technique will improve as strength is gained? I'm struggling with ab crunch and, of course, good ol' hip and thigh!
    27 July at 19:28 · Edited · Like · 6
  • Jaki Stanley Hello Bruce, I've had my Bodyblade a few week's and started off really well but seem to be struggling to complete the S6 now, is it OK to do the routine in 30 second burst's a few times a day and will it have the same effect as if i was managing 60 second's on each exercise? Many thank's.x
  • Suzi Lince Hi Bruce, just wanted to say over past couple of years I lost a lot of body strength as I had muscle problems preventing me exercising. The bb has been amazing and my core strength has built up so well in just so couple of months. I've had to take it slowly, but I'm so much stronger now and my lower back pain seems cured.....touch wood!
  • Mirka Marri Hi Bruce, I hope you are well, Yes I am very interested in preventing boredom. Is it ok to hula hoop whilst doing some of the BB exercises or should your posture be stationary, nice and soft? Thank you smile emoticon
  • Lindsey Sweet Hi Bruce and BB Ohana, Hope you are well? Love doing a variety of bb routines and LS walks, there are so many different videos to choose from hard to keep favourites as they are all fun and different. Like a lot of people I put music on with a beat and have fun ! The support we have from our online family is brilliant smile emoticon thanks guys and girls xx
  • Anne Keating Hi Bruce and everyone - just made it back in time. Did a quick Supersix before I went out this morning then three amazing exhibitions at the V&A - Alexander McQueen, Shoes and Luxury. Enough exercise for one day! xx
  • Christine Grochowina Good evening Bruce. Hope you are well. Can't do any bb at moment with both hands as I have stitches in shoulder till next week. But hopefully by weekend they will be out and I'll slowly be able to try and get back to my routine
  • Sue Stewart Ohana Bruce. Like Wendy Lawrence I've also over done it and now have an appointment with the muscle and skeletal clinic. Can't wait to get it sorted and be using my Bodyblade again.
  • Bruce Hymanson Good evening everyone. Already great comments and questions from the group. To summarize, let's chat about technique, power, permahabits, boredom and any and all things that come to mind.
  • Bruce Hymanson A few people are new and wondering if they will improve? Yes, you will find yourself getting stronger, being able to do the exercises longer during each workout and noticing a better looking and better performing body.
  • Suzi Lince I'm still finding I tire easily, but I've learned not to push too much as then I don't get pain.
  • Shirley Pearson I get really tired and I'm suffering from sciatica at the moment, due to overdoing things with the gardening. I'm taking it steady at the moment with the BB. and I've only been doing it for 2 weeks. (I'm 62 by the way).
    27 July at 20:13 · Edited · Like · 4
  • Bruce Hymanson Some this evening asked about duration of exercise. I recommend exercising 3-4 times a week and doing a full workout. A full workout may be designed to exercise for a full minute in each exercise but if you can do 10 seconds, then do 10 seconds. Your goal will be to work up to the full minute. You may find some exercises easier to do than others. Do what you can do in those exercises you find more challenging for less than those you find easier. Your body will continue to improve and get stronger. You don't have to do each exercise in a workout for exactly the same time. Also, many have asked if they can split the exercise into twice in that day. Yes you can. Many have asked if they can do Bodyblade every day. Yes you can. Pick it up everyday for the "feel" and technique. When I suggest doing the workout 3-4 times a week, that would be a full workout. Doing smaller stints everyday is not a problem
  • Jaki Stanley That makes perfect sense, thank you for your response.smile emoticon
  • Bruce Hymanson Hi Suzi. Remember your "flex intensity" If that is a term you are not family with, we produced a video on Flex Intensity which you can watch from the pinned post section. Basically, the flex in the blade determines the amount of resistance. You are in control of the flex and therefore can go easier in some exercises and with greater flex in others. Remember, training and getting fatigued is a good thing. This is how the body becomes stronger and with better endurance. If you only trained easy all the time, you would be good in that training zone only. Keep up the good work!!
  • Suzi Lince Thanks Bruce
  • Suzi Lince I have had a lot of pain issues, so I have to work carefully around them.....
  • Bruce Hymanson Shirley, Using Bodyblade to strengthen the back and postural muscles can help with Sciatica but to be safe and since I can not evaluate you personally, please seek the advice of your Physio or MD regarding your exercise program. The good thing is you can take the blade to the MD, show them exactly what you are doing.
  • Shirley Pearson Thanks Bruce, I'll take it on Friday and show it to my GP, I can manage some of the exercises but not all at the moment. I've had sciatica on and off for years so it's not a new thing, but I feel I need to be careful.
  • Bruce Hymanson For those of you who have the Super6/Power10 DVD, it is important to watch the LEARN section for instruction. For those who do not have that DVD, there is plenty of education on you tube to learn as well. In addition, we have produced many little education videos to help with technique. Proper grip, matching the rhythm, learning to drive the blade correctly etc. will all help master the technique. Practicing the drills are very important as part of the warm up. Learning to use your body well is like learning to play a musical instrument. The more time you spend practicing, the better your performance. Bodyblade is about coordination and balance more than brutt strength
  • Debbie Flint By the way it made me much stronger for lifting heavy things during my house move last weekend! I was able to do much more than I thought because I'm so much stronger especially in my core! Then in Wales on my writing holiday I was telling them all about it again - I think at least another three people bought it he he he Bruce is a genius X
  • Debbie Flint Have a nice chat everybody am at work now so better go and do some ha ha X
  • Jacqueline Jackson Hi Bruce hope you're well. My favorite work out is the Chiswick House routine you did with Debbie and our lovely ladies. The time flies by and you're all so happy. I love it x
  • Mary MacNeish Is there a short workout similar to thw super 6 I can use to get rid of my jelly belly?
  • Suzi Lince I love the videos....they really keep me motivated.
  • Wendy Lawrence I do too Jacqueline, can't wait to get back to being able to do it xx
  • Emily Brown Butler Bruce Hymanson Thank you so much for bringing us BodyBlade. I love it and noticing great results. Xx
  • Anne Keating I found the same as Debbie - I was shifting topsoil in the garden at the weekend. The bags are much heavier than the normal compost I use but I lifted them fairly easily. I found later on though that my arms ached slightly so I listened to what my body was telling me and gave the Supersix a miss for a couple of days. I found at the beginning I was doing a Supersix every day come what may, but now I know when to have a day off. xx
  • Helen Murphy Mary MacNeish there is the Belly Blaster. Evening all!
  • Denise Widdows I've noticed my posture has improved significantly since using my bb. I now stand straighter with my shoulders down and don't have the shoulder pain as bad as I used to. Thanks Bruce! X
  • Bruce Hymanson For some reason, my Facebook on my computer has become frozen & unresponsive. I'm on my iPhone now
  • Mary-Jane Rossetter I'd love to exercise every day, I'm doing SS broken down into 4 "rounds" at 15 seconds. I'm really loving the bodyblade and I'm impatient to see and feel the great results. Would I be better doing this every other day? Thanks.
  • Bruce Hymanson Posture, balance, coordination, quickness, better core strength are all bi-products of Bodyblade training. Not to mention a better looking body too!

Jacqueline Jackson Welcome Alison and many congratulations to you and Colin. Just wondered with your husband being a musician do you yourself play any instruments or can you sing? Love you on QVC especially your diamonique shows. x

Alison Keenan Dawn Robinson Thank you! x

Jacqueline Jackson I think you should wear it every weekend too! x
